"Joseph Bunch, 74, who went unscathed through Apache Raids as a child and risked his life many times in a long career as a peace officer, died Monday in his home at Wittman.
Born in a log cabin on the Tonto Rim between Prescott and Payson, he was the son of Charles William Bunch, pioneer cattle rancher in that country.
As a child, Mr. Bunch's home was attacked repeatedly by marauding Apaches and for a time he and his family were driven out of Arizona and lived at Deming, NM until the raids were stopped. Later as a man he served as an assistant marshal in Tempe under the late Leonce T. (Frenchy) Navarre. With Navarre, and a farmer who lived south of Tempe, Mr. Bunch shot it out with two robbers in a cotton field near the southside community. One of the robbers was killed by the farmer. The gunmen had robbed Baber and Jones Market in Tempe, wounding the late H.C. Baber seriously and killing a 16 year old youth who was in the market. Mr. Bunch also served as a Maricopa County sheriff's deputy under the late Sheriff Lon Jondan and during World War II was a guard at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base near Tucson. He had been living at Whitman for 13 months at the time of his death. Survivors include his wife Nora of Wittman; three sons, Talton J of Riverside, CA; Charles W.,Phoenix; Joseph B. of Santa Anita, CA; two daughters, Zona Blackburn, Bellview,NM; Nancy J. Brown,Riverside, CA. Burial will be in Resthaven Park, Glendale,AZ."1

Lois Bagwell was born on 14 April 1919 in Darwin, Atoka County, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Charlie Wilson Bagwell and Lou Hopey White. As of 26 April 1938,her married name was Reeves. Lois Bagwell married Curtis Reeves on 26 April 1938 at Sulphur, Murry County, Oklahoma. Lois Bagwell died on 14 November 2010 in Hartshorne, Pittsburg County, Oklahoma, at age 91 Lois was the daughter of Charlie and Hopie Lou (White) Bagwell. She married Curtis M. Reeves on April 26, 1938, in Sulphur. They later moved to Damon Valley where they farmed and raised cattle. One of her favorite things to do was walk the fields and check on her cows. She worked as a cook, first at Eastern Oklahoma State College and then at the Senior Citizens Center in Hartshorne. She loved poetry and on occasion would write a poem for someone's birthday or retirement. She was a member of the Haileyville Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters, Charlene Spears, of Hartshorne, and Linda Brown, of Hartshorne; four grandchildren and spouses, Clint and Tanya Spears, of Hartshorne, Billy Dale and Teresa Spears, of Hartshorne, Brian and DeAnn Reeves, of Hartshorne, and Kellye and Ricky Holt, of Hartshorne. Also, 14 great-grandchildren, Amanda Kilcrease, Crystal Peevy, Misty Reeves, Destiny Reeves, Chance Reeves, Linsey Holt, Shawn Holt, Ryan Spears, Sean Spears, Andy Spears, Tyler Spears, Blane Spears, Taron Pebley and Reese Rowe, and eight great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Posey died Jan. 17, 2003, at a local hospital. She was born Oct. 11, 1909,
at Antlers to Charlie Wilson and Hopie Lou White Bagwell.
She married William Thomas "Willie" Posey Oct. 12, 1928, at Sulphur. He died
June 20, 1978.
Mrs. Posey was employed at Jan Frances Care Center for a few years and was also
a homemaker. She was a Baptist.
She is preceded in death by a son, Harold Ray Posey; and a grandson, Hal Posey
Jr.
Survivors include two sisters, Bertha Nabors, Oklahoma City, and Lois Reeves,
Hartshorne; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three
stepgrandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Bearers are Shannon Posey, Tony Posey, Trey Posey, William Posey, Nathan
Gillean, Robby Underhill and T.C. Criddle.
Criswell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was buried at Memorial Park Cemetery, Ada, Pontotoc County, Oklahoma.

Dale Bagwell married Nancy Herrmann on 17 October 1964 at Trinity Methodist Church, Madison, Nebraska. Dale Bagwell died on 18 June 2020 in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska, at age 82
Dale Bagwell, 82, of Syracuse, entered his eternal rest on June 18, 2020, at Bryan West Medical in Lincoln. Dale was born to Morris and Juanita (Pierce) Bagwell on Sept. 8, 1937, in Fittstown, Oklahoma. He moved to Nebraska with his family when he was 11 years old. He attended schools in Oklahoma and Nebraska, including Neligh and Plainview. He was in the U.S. Army from January 1956 to December 1957. He worked for Missouri Valley Construction Co. for several years. He was united in marriage to Nancy Herrmann on Oct. 17, 1964, at Trinity Methodist Church in Madison. They resided in Omaha. In 1967, he and Nancy moved to the Madison area, where they began their farming operation. They worked together, planting and harvesting crops, milking cows, raising pigs and a garden. During this time, they raised two children. Following their farm sale in 1975, Dale worked for Reigle Implement and then Eisenmann Supplies, both in Madison, before becoming self-employed as a dump truck operator in 1979. He was also in partnership with his wife, operating the Tarp Shop in Norfolk from 1984 to 1987. After living on their acreage by Madison for 30 years, Dale and Nancy moved to North Platte in 1997, where Dale began employment with Western Engineering Co. Driving a dump truck was one of the joys of his life. He retired in the spring of 2017, due to health issues. He was a member of Victory Church of God. His hobbies included remodeling their home, helping Nancy with landscaping projects and "puttering" in his garage. He and Nancy moved to Syracuse to be closer to family. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerry; sister-in-law, Jean Bagwell; and brother-in-law, Ray Herrmann Jr. He is survived by his wife, Nancy of Syracuse; daughter, Vicki (Mark) Dehne of Weeping Water; son, Douglas (Janell) Bagwell of Marshfield, Missouri; grandsons, Ben (Kylie), Andrew (Haley) Damon, Jon, Kendall and Lucas; great-grandchildren, Caisley, Louella and Winsten, and Bayne and Abel; brother, Ronald Bagwell; sister-in-law, Almyra (Gorden) Schwartz; brother-in-law, Greg (Sherry) Herrmann; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial service is at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 26, at Crossroads Bible Church, 17040 Hwy 1, Manley. Hammons Family Funeral Services, Weeping Water, is entrusted with arrangements.
