Aleen Hill Bagwell, 89, of 238 Stancil Street, widow of Walter L. Bagwell, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2007, at Easley Living Center.

Born in Easley, Mrs. Bagwell was a daughter of the late Lewis James (Ludie) and Ada Woodward Hill. A loving and caring mother, grandmother and friend to all, she was the retired owner of Ideal Beauty Shop in downtown Easley. Mrs. Bagwell was a member of United Wesleyan Church, where she belonged to the Women's Bible Class.

Surviving are her three children, Rodney Bagwell, Gail B. Caldwell and Deborah S. Bagwell, all of Easley; six grandchildren, Brad Caldwell and wife, Cindy, of Rock Hill, Terri C. LeGrand and husband, Charles, of Greenville, and Nick Caldwell and wife, Floride, Lori Norton and husband, Ken, Russell Bagwell, and Jay Bagwell and wife, Angela, all of Easley; and 14 great-grandchildren, Meghan Caldwell, Zac Caldwell, Kenne Norton, Teran Whitfield, Anna Catherine Caldwell, David Norton, Caroline Caldwell, Skyler Bagwell, Mary Helen Caldwell, Savannah Bagwell, Payton LeGrand, Abigail Caldwell, Alexa Bagwell, and Halle Bagwell, all of whom affectionately referred to her as "Ma'leen." In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, Broadus (Bunker) Hill and Louis J. (Boots) Hill, and a sister, Lois Hill.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Monday at United Wesleyan Church. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Escort of Honor will be the Women's and Men's Bible classes of United Wesleyan Church.

The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, where the family will receive friends from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday and will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. Monday. The family is at the home of a grandson, Nick Caldwell, 106 McAlister Lake Court, Easley, SC 29642.

Gail Bagwell Caldwell died Tuesday, December 24, 2024, after a long illness. Born on May 12, 1940, Gail was the daughter of the late Walter and Aleen Hill Bagwell. She lived her lifetime in Easley and was a member of Arial United Wesleyan Church.

Surviving are her three children: Brad Caldwell (Cindy) of Rock Hill, Terri LeGrand (Charlie) of Greenville, and Nick Caldwell (Floride) also of Easley. She had seven grandchildren: Meghan Caldwell, Zac Caldwell (Callie), Payton LeGrand (Olivia), Anna Catherine Morris (Derrick), Caroline Caldwell, Mary Helen Bagnal (Holden), and Abigail Caldwell, and within the last year of her life she became a great grandmother to three precious babies: Eloise, Izzy, and Beck.

Also, she is survived by her brother, Rodney Bagwell, and her sister, Deborah Bagwell, both of Easley, along with many much-loved nieces and nephews.

Gail devoted her life to the care of her family. Additionally, she worked in the healthcare field for over forty years, mostly with Drs. Shealy, Smith and Welbon, from where she retired.

Services for Gail will take place at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with a receiving of friends on Friday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and the funeral service on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery in Easley.

     Florence Castledine was born on 10 February 1937 in LaLuz Canyon, New Mexico. As of before 1956,her married name was Bagwell. She married Richard Carter Bagwell before 1956. As of before 1986,her married name was Johnson. Florence Castledine married (?) Johnson before 1986. Florence Castledine died on 5 February 1987 in San Bernardino, California, at age 49. She was buried at Montecito Memorial Park, San Bernardino County, California.

     Richard Walter Bagwell is the son of Richard Carter Bagwell and Florence Castledine. Richard Walter Bagwell married Shae Mulanax before 1979.

     Richard Walter Bagwell Jr. was born on 13 April 1980 in San Bernadio County, California. He was the son of Richard Walter Bagwell and Shae Mulanax. Richard Walter Bagwell Jr. died on 9 September 1995 in San Bernadio County, California, at age 15.
