A loving and caring mother, grandmother and friend to all, she was the retired owner of Ideal Beauty Shop in downtown Easley. Mrs. Bagwell was a member of United Wesleyan Church, where she belonged to the Women's Bible Class.
Surviving are her three children, Rodney Bagwell, Gail B. Caldwell and Deborah S. Bagwell, all of Easley; six grandchildren, Brad Caldwell and wife, Cindy, of Rock Hill, Terri C. LeGrand and husband, Charles, of Greenville, and Nick Caldwell and wife, Floride, Lori Norton and husband, Ken, Russell Bagwell, and Jay Bagwell and wife, Angela, all of Easley; and 14 great-grandchildren, Meghan Caldwell, Zac Caldwell, Kenne Norton, Teran Whitfield, Anna Catherine Caldwell, David Norton, Caroline Caldwell, Skyler Bagwell, Mary Helen Caldwell, Savannah Bagwell, Payton LeGrand, Abigail Caldwell, Alexa Bagwell, and Halle Bagwell, all of whom affectionately referred to her as "Ma'leen." In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, Broadus (Bunker) Hill and Louis J. (Boots) Hill, and a sister, Lois Hill.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Monday at United Wesleyan Church. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

She had seven grandchildren: Meghan Caldwell, Zac Caldwell (Callie), Payton LeGrand (Olivia), Anna Catherine Morris (Derrick), Caroline Caldwell, Mary Helen Bagnal (Holden), and Abigail Caldwell, and within the last year of her life she became a great grandmother to three precious babies: Eloise, Izzy, and Beck.
Also, she is survived by her brother, Rodney Bagwell, and her sister, Deborah Bagwell, both of Easley, along with many much-loved nieces and nephews.
Gail devoted her life to the care of her family. Additionally, she worked in the healthcare field for over forty years, mostly with Drs. Shealy, Smith and Welbon, from where she retired.
Services for Gail will take place at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with a receiving of friends on Friday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and the funeral service on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery in Easley.
