     James Severne Bagwell was born on 28 September 1934 in Greenville, Greenville County, South Carolina.¹ He was the son of Harold Allen Bagwell and Bonnie Ruth Gillespie.¹ James Severne Bagwell married Wilma Dowling Mayfield on 15 July 1956 at Denmark, South Carolina.¹ James Severne Bagwell married Janice Fern Guthrie on 18 June 1981 at Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. James Severne Bagwell, 86, husband of Janice Bagwell, died Sunday, November 15, 2020.
Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Harold and Bonnie Gillespie Bagwell.

Severne proudly served in the United States Navy and was a retired truck driver having drove with JP Stevens, Ryder and West Point Pepperell. He was a faithful member of Siloam Baptist Church.Severne loved the game of golf and was an avid Clemson Tiger fan. He was involved in many activities throughout his life; he loved camping, participating in the Truck Drivers Rodeo Nationals and was a Hejaz Shriner.

In addition to his loving wife of thirty-nine years, he is survived by his five children, Jimmy Bagwell (Faye), Phyllis Bagwell, Beth Enroughty (Danny), Jeff Dearduff (Karen) and Jeanine Garber; six grandchildren, Mackenzie Bagwell (Bubba), Brad Bagwell (Alison Taylor), Ashton Fisher (Nick), Charlie Rollings, Katherine Ennis and Stephanie Emry; nine great grandchildren; and three sisters, DeeDee Bagwell, Norma Jean Gillespie and Linda Howe.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Jamie Bagwell.

     Doris Elizabeth Bagwell was born on 23 August 1933 in Gastonia, Gaston County, North Carolina.¹ She was the daughter of Willard William Bagwell and Mary Elizabeth Skipper.¹ As of after 1950,her married name was Martin.¹ Doris Elizabeth Bagwell married Bishop (Reverend) Olin Leonard Martin after 1950.¹ Doris Elizabeth Bagwell died on 16 October 2019 in Piedmont, Anderson County, South Carolina, at age 86

A celebration of life service for Mrs. Doris Elizabeth Bagwell Martin age 86 will be held at Mauldin Church of God, 411 E. Butler Road, Mauldin, SC 29662 with Bishop Bobby Johnson and Bishop George Cooper officiating.
Interment will follow in the M. J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery, Anderson, SC.
Mrs. Martin was born in Gastonia, NC and had made the Greenville area her home since 2000. She was the beloved wife of 57 years of the late Bishop Olin L. Martin, Sr. and a daughter of the late Mr. Willard Bagwell and the late Mrs. Mary Skipper Bagwell.
Mrs. Martin served alongside of her husband for 55 plus years as a minister’s wife in eleven church’s in the Church of God, Cleveland, TN denomination. After her husband’s retirement they moved to the Church of God Campground, Mauldin, SC and settled there for many years until God called her husband home. Mrs. Martin was an active member of the Mauldin Church of God, Mauldin, SC. Survivors include one son, Olin L. (Dotti) Martin, Jr., Aiken; one daughter, Juanita (Raymond) Pickens, Piedmont; ten grandchildren, Trey (Lydia) Martin, Andrew (Jennifer) Martin, Kathryn (Brandon) Strain, Dakota (Sadie) Beck, Abbi Barrett, Sarah Barrett, Heather Pierce, Eryk Pierce, Cody Buhler, Dylan Pickens; four great grandchildren, Caleb Strain, Sawyer, Harper and Collins Pierce.
Mrs. Martin was predeceased by one sister, Betty Jean Weaver Nelson.

He married Doris Elizabeth Bagwell, daughter of Willard William Bagwell and Mary Elizabeth Skipper, after 1950.¹ Bishop (Reverend) Olin Leonard Martin died on 21 July 2010 in South Carolina at age 79. He was buried at M J Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery, Anderson, Anderson County, South Carolina.¹

     Martha Delores Bagwell is the daughter of Harold Allen Bagwell and Bonnie Ruth Gillespie.

     Norma Jean Bagwell is the daughter of Harold Allen Bagwell and Bonnie Ruth Gillespie. Norma Jean Bagwell married (?) Gillespie after 1955.

     Linda Ann Bagwell was born in 1941 in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Harold Allen Bagwell and Bonnie Ruth Gillespie. As of after 1958,her married name was Howe. Linda Ann Bagwell married Bill Howe after 1958. Linda Ann Bagwell died on 13 March 2023 in South Carolina


Linda Ann Bagwell Howe, 81, widow of William Hazel Howe, Jr., went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 13, 2023.

Mrs. Howe was born in Fountain Inn to the late Harold Allen Bagwell and Bonnie Ruth Gillespie Bagwell. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Fountain Inn. She retired from the SC Department of Social Services. Linda served many years as the administrative assistant to the chairman of the History Department at Winthrop University. She enjoyed bowling and sewing.

Surviving are two sons, Ricky Dean and Danny Dean; two sisters, DeeDee Bagwell and Norma Jean Gillespie; and a grandson, Christopher Dean. She was predeceased by a brother, Severne Bagwell.

A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be 1 o’clock Friday, March 17th, at the First Baptist Church of Fountain Inn; officiated by Dr. Condy Richardson. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be 10 o’clock Monday, April 4th, at Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.

     Marc Wayne Bagwell was born on 19 October 1958 in Oklahoma. He was the son of Billy Wayne Bagwell and Norma Jean Davis. Marc Wayne Bagwell married Patricia Gail Bray on 28 July 1978 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Marc Wayne Bagwell died on 1 November 2024 at age 66


Marc Wayne Bagwell, 66, was called to the Lord on November 1, 2024. He was born on October 19, 1958 to Bill and Jean Bagwell in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Marc ran a family grocery business for over 20 years.

He was also a write of plays and short stories, garnering acclaim for his published works. He loved tacos, scuba diving, old movies, the Minions, a good shave, and bad jokes. Marc is preceded in death by both parents. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; and children, Brandon and Crystal, whom he loved dearly.

A visitation will be held from 4pm – 8pm on Thursday, November 7, 2024 with a funeral service to take place at 2pm on Friday, November 8, 2024, all at Moore Funeral and Cremation. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Norman, Oklahoma.

     Mark Wayne Bagwell was born on 27 March 1962 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. He was the son of Garnett Ralph Bagwell and Leila Irene Brown.¹ Mark Wayne Bagwell married Christi Salopek on 1 June 1983 at Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Mark Wayne Bagwell and Christi Salopek were divorced on 21 October 1991 at Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Mark Wayne Bagwell died on 9 July 1994 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, at age 32.¹ He was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.

     Christi Salopek married Mark Wayne Bagwell, son of Garnett Ralph Bagwell and Leila Irene Brown, on 1 June 1983 at Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Christi Salopek and Mark Wayne Bagwell were divorced on 21 October 1991 at Cuyahoga County, Ohio.

     Jessica Bagwell is the daughter of Mark Wayne Bagwell and Christi Salopek.¹ Jessica Bagwell married Ryan McCarthy after 2001.¹

     Mark Wayne Bagwell is the son of James Otis Bagwell and Martha Ann McClure.

     Marlene Joanne Weirath married Larry Lee Bagwell, son of William Lee Bagwell and Ethel Marie Millhoff, in November 1965 at Wadsworth, Ohio. Marlene Joanne Weirath and Larry Lee Bagwell were divorced on 21 October 1968 at Wadsworth, Ohio; on grounds of extreme cruelty.

     Eric Michael Bagwell is the son of Larry Lee Bagwell and Marlene Joanne Weirath. Eric Michael Bagwell married Jill Elaine Jones on 9 November 1991 at Akron, Ohio.
