     Allie Leona Bagwell was born on 2 February 1898 in Dale County, Alabama.¹ She was the daughter of James Wiley (Wesley) Bagwell and Josephine Emeline Newton. Allie Leona Bagwell died on 24 January 1996 in Dale County, Alabama, at age 97.¹ She was buried at Chalkhead Baptist Church Cemetery, Ewell, Dale County, Alabama.¹

     Wilburn Bagwell was born on 14 September 1896 in Dale County, Alabama.¹ He was the son of James Wiley (Wesley) Bagwell and Josephine Emeline Newton. Wilburn Bagwell married Eva Grantham Vickers on 11 December 1918. Wilburn Bagwell died on 7 March 1977 in Dale County, Alabama, at age 80.¹ He was buried at Chalkhead Baptist Church Cemetery, Ewell, Dale County, Alabama.¹

     Eva Grantham Vickers was born on 12 December 1898.¹ As of 11 December 1918,her married name was Bagwell. She married Wilburn Bagwell, son of James Wiley (Wesley) Bagwell and Josephine Emeline Newton, on 11 December 1918. Eva Grantham Vickers died on 15 February 1978 in Dale County, Alabama, at age 79.¹ She was buried at Chalkhead Baptist Church Cemetery, Ewell, Dale County, Alabama.¹

     Rex Hill Bagwell was born on 16 March 1941.^1,2 He was the son of Wilburn Bagwell and Eva Grantham Vickers. Rex Hill Bagwell died on 21 January 1948 at age 6.^1,2 He was buried at Chalkhead Baptist Church Cemetery, Ewell, Dale County, Alabama.²

     Maxwell Zinnamon Bagwell was born on 2 January 1929.¹ He was the son of Wilburn Bagwell and Eva Grantham Vickers. He served as a Master Sergeant in US Air Army during World War II.¹ Maxwell Zinnamon Bagwell married Levonia Galloway on 12 May 1951. Maxwell Zinnamon Bagwell died on 28 April 1997 at age 68.¹ He was buried at Chalkhead Baptist Church Cemetery, Ewell, Dale County, Alabama.¹

     Benjamin Paul Bagwell was born on 8 September 1937 in Alabama. He was the son of Wilburn Bagwell and Eva Grantham Vickers. Benjamin Paul Bagwell married Joanne (?) circa 1960. Benjamin Paul Bagwell died on 27 March 2016 at age 78 Benjamin Paul Bagwell, age 78, of Dothan passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016.

Mr. Bagwell was born to the late Wilburn and Eva Bagwell on September 8, 1937. He was a devoted husband to Joanne Bagwell for 56 years and a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Benjamin was both an Alabama fan and an Atlanta Braves fan.

Along with his parents Mr. Bagwell was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Mr. Bagwell is survived by his wife, Joanne Bagwell of Dothan, AL; daughter, Paige Berry (Phillip) of Dothan, AL; two sons, Benny Bagwell (Rhonda) of Troy, AL, Shane Bagwell (Tanja) of North Port, FL, brother, Kenneth Bagwell (Jean) of Dothan, AL; grandchildren, Emily Shehane, Stacey Bagwell, Nikki Pearson, Baylie Bagwell, Daniel Bagwell, Jacey Bagwell, Tyler Berry, Brandon Berry, Dalton Simmons, Christa Douglas, Nadia Douglas and great-grandchildren, Kacen Simms, Laura Berry, Brody Shehane.

Memorial service will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2 PM prior to the service.

     Kenneth Ned Bagwell was born on 26 November 1934 in Dale County, Alabama. He was the son of Wilburn Bagwell and Eva Grantham Vickers. Kenneth Ned Bagwell married Imogean Kelly in July 1957 at Houston County, Alabama. Kenneth Ned Bagwell lived in 2016 in Dothan, Alabama. He died on 8 October 2020 in Dothan, Houston County, Alabama, at age 85


Kenneth Ned Bagwell, 85, a resident of Dothan, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at his residence. He was born on November 26, 1934 in Dale County to the late Wilburn Bagwell and Eva (Grantham) Bagwell.

Funeral Services will take place 2 PM, Monday, October 12, 2020 in the chapel of Ward Wilson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memory Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Kenneth was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He worked as a Barber for 40 years. He and his wife both taught Sunday School together for 40 years at Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Kenneth took pride in taking care of his family. He proudly served in the Unites States Navy and the National Guard.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by eight siblings and a son, Ned Bagwell.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 63 years; Jean (Kelly) Bagwell, daughter, Cynthia (Gary) White, son, Curtis Eugene Bagwell, grandchildren, Stephen Fischer, Jade Bagwell, and Logan Bagwell along with many nephews, nieces, and loving family members.


He was buried at Memory Hill Cemetery, Dothan, Houston County, Alabama.

     Opal Josephine Bagwell was born on 20 December 1931 in Alabama.¹ She was the daughter of Wilburn Bagwell and Eva Grantham Vickers. Mrs. Opal Josephine Bagwell Lewis of Dothan died Tuesday, September 22, 2009, at her residence. She was 77. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday, Sept. 26 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Tom Anderson and Bradley Rushing officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery under the direction of Ward Wilson Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, September 25, 2009. Flowers will be accepted. Mrs. Lewis was born on December 20, 1931, in Enterprise, AL, the daughter of the late Wilburn Bagwell and Eva Grantham Bagwell. She was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Minnie Henderson, Exie Henderson, and bro-thers, Harold Bagwell, Edgar Bagwell, Max Bagwell, and Rex Bagwell. Survivors include: her husband, William Thaxton Lewis of Dothan; daughter, Susan Morrison and her husband, Edward of Do-than; sons, Anthony Lewis and his wife, Judy of Malvern; Dennis Lewis and his wife, Sheryl of Roswell, GA; brothers, Kenneth Bagwell and his wife, Jean of Dothan; Paul Bagwell and his wife, JoAnn of Dothan; and grandchildren, Amanda Lewis, Andy Le-wis, Keith Lewis, Holly Lewis, Kelley Atwell, Ashley Meredith, and Ben Meredith. As of 2 April 1941,her married name was Henderson. Minnie Lee Bagwell married John C. Henderson on 2 April 1941 at Florida. Minnie Lee Bagwell died on 25 January 2001 in Alabama at age 77.¹ She was buried at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, Dale County, Alabama.¹

     Exie Bagwell was born on 21 May 1919 in Alabama.¹ She was the daughter of Wilburn Bagwell and Eva Grantham Vickers. Exie Bagwell married Lewie A. Snell after 1935. Exie Bagwell died on 11 August 2007 at age 88.¹ She was buried at Mount Enon Cemetery, Echo, Dale County, Alabama.

     Edgar Eugene Bagwell was born on 16 May 1921.¹ He was the son of Wilburn Bagwell and Eva Grantham Vickers.¹ He was a private in the US Army during World War II. Edgar Eugene Bagwell married Mary Odell Dupree after 1946. Edgar Eugene Bagwell died on 1 November 2007 at age 86.¹ He was buried at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, Russell County, Alabama.

     Harold Louis Bagwell was born on 30 March 1926 in Dale County, Alabama.^1,2 He was the son of Wilburn Bagwell and Eva Grantham Vickers. Harold Louis Bagwell married Nettie Lou Lamb on 12 December 1944. Harold Louis Bagwell died on 9 March 1970 in Dothan, Houston County, Alabama, at age 43.^1,2 He was buried at Cowarts Cemetery, Cowart, Houston County, Alabama.²

     Nettie Lou Lamb was born on 24 February 1927 in Houston County, Alabama.¹ As of 12 December 1944,her married name was Bagwell. She married Harold Louis Bagwell, son of Wilburn Bagwell and Eva Grantham Vickers, on 12 December 1944. Nettie Lou Lamb died on 26 September 1967 in Dothan, Houston County, Alabama, at age 40.¹ She was buried at Cowarts Cemetery, Dothan, Houston County, Alabama.¹

     Wallace Harold Bagwell is the son of Harold Louis Bagwell and Nettie Lou Lamb. Wallace Harold Bagwell married Patsy Ann Smith in October 1965 at Jefferson County, Alabama.

     Jackie M. Bagwell is the daughter of Harold Louis Bagwell and Nettie Lou Lamb. Jackie M. Bagwell married (?) Unknown in June 1969 at Houston County, Alabama.

     Gerald Edward Bagwell is the son of Harold Louis Bagwell and Nettie Lou Lamb. Gerald Edward Bagwell married Elizabeth Ann Cole on 2 June 1972 at Dothan, Alabama.

     Elizabeth Ann Cole was born on 19 May 1953 in Dothan, Alabama. As of 2 June 1972,her married name was Bagwell. She married Gerald Edward Bagwell, son of Harold Louis Bagwell and Nettie Lou Lamb, on 2 June 1972 at Dothan, Alabama. Elizabeth Ann Cole died on 1 February 2014 in Cowarts, Houston County, Alabama, at age 60. She was buried at Cowart's Cemetery, Cowarts, Houston County, Alabama.

     Caroline Matilda Everett was born in 1878. She was the daughter of John Franklin Everett and Louisa Parazade Bagwell. Caroline Matilda Everett died in 1970.

     George William Everett was born in 1878. He was the son of John Franklin Everett and Louisa Parazade Bagwell. George William Everett died in 1957.

     Emma R. Everett was born in 1880. She was the daughter of John Franklin Everett and Louisa Parazade Bagwell.

     Lucy Cammella Everett was born in 1881. She was the daughter of John Franklin Everett and Louisa Parazade Bagwell.

     Lonnie M. Everett was born in 1882. He was the son of John Franklin Everett and Louisa Parazade Bagwell.

     Bobbie Clio Everett was born in 1884. He was the son of John Franklin Everett and Louisa Parazade Bagwell. Bobbie Clio Everett died in 1949.

     Mary Elizabeth Everett was born in 1885. She was the daughter of John Franklin Everett and Louisa Parazade Bagwell.
