Frizzell, age 53, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 1997 at Kobacker House following a courageous six month bout with cancer. He was currently Commander of Technical Services with Columbus Division of Police with over 30 years of service. Survived by his son, Michael Frizzell; mother, Kathryn Frizzell; sister, Vivian Frizzell; brother, James Frizzell; loving and caring companion, Judy Harrington. Preceded in death by his wife Janet K. Frizzell and father Norm (Duke) Frizzell. He was a 1961 graduate of North High School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio Dominican College in 1987. Veteran U.S. Air Force. He was a member of F.O.P. Lodge and several other professional associations. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday. Carol was born July 16, 1952 in Houston County, Alabama to the late Edgar Eugene and Mary Odell Dupree Bagwell. She was a loving and giving lady who cared for her parents, family and grandchildren. Carol enjoyed the outdoors and had a heart for people and loved the Lord. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and for her excellent cooking.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond Earl Braswell; children, Tye and Christina Baughman, Billy Baughman, Steve and Joyce Jordan, Robert and Ashley Braswell, Serena and Daniel Benton; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; sister, Jean and Lennie Pike and two brothers, Tim and Lisa Bagwell and Bobby Bagwell.
