     Commander Melvin V. Frizzell was born circa 1944.¹ He was the son of Norman Vincent Frizzell and Kathryn (?)¹ He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.¹ Commander Melvin V. Frizzell married Janet K. (?) after 1960.¹ Commander Melvin V. Frizzell died on 19 February 1997 Commander Melvin V. Frizzell, age 53, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 1997 at Kobacker House following a courageous six month bout with cancer. He was currently Commander of Technical Services with Columbus Division of Police with over 30 years of service. Survived by his son, Michael Frizzell; mother, Kathryn Frizzell; sister, Vivian Frizzell; brother, James Frizzell; loving and caring companion, Judy Harrington. Preceded in death by his wife Janet K. Frizzell and father Norm (Duke) Frizzell. He was a 1961 graduate of North High School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio Dominican College in 1987. Veteran U.S. Air Force. He was a member of F.O.P. Lodge and several other professional associations. She was a candy maker with Maramor Restaurant retiring following 31 years of service and a cook at The Ohio Union for 10 years. She was the widow of John Dempert who died in 1970. She is survived by her niece, Vivian Frizzell; nephews, Donald (Marguerite) Frizzell, Gerald (Dee) Frizzell and Craig Frizzell; sisters-in-law, Kathryn Frizzell and Gertrude Dempert; other nieces and nephews; dear friend, Peggy Lucas and many close friends. She married Maxwell Zinnamon Bagwell, son of Wilburn Bagwell and Eva Grantham Vickers, on 12 May 1951. Levonia Galloway died on 16 September 2007 in Pontotoc County, Mississippi, at age 75.¹ She was buried at Chalkhead Baptist Church Cemetery, Ewell, Dale County, Alabama.¹

     William Thaxton Lewis married Opal Josephine Bagwell, daughter of Wilburn Bagwell and Eva Grantham Vickers, on 21 October 1950.

     John C. Henderson was born on 21 November 1911 in Alabama.¹ He married Minnie Lee Bagwell, daughter of Wilburn Bagwell and Eva Grantham Vickers, on 2 April 1941 at Florida. John C. Carol Diane Braswell, a resident of Dothan, died Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at her residence. She was 68.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Gardens of Memory with Chaplain Kathy Stumbaugh officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 PM until 4 PM on Saturday, March 13, 2021.

Carol was born July 16, 1952 in Houston County, Alabama to the late Edgar Eugene and Mary Odell Dupree Bagwell. She was a loving and giving lady who cared for her parents, family and grandchildren. Carol enjoyed the outdoors and had a heart for people and loved the Lord. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and for her excellent cooking.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond Earl Braswell; children, Tye and Christina Baughman, Billy Baughman, Steve and Joyce Jordan, Robert and Ashley Braswell, Serena and Daniel Benton; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; sister, Jean and Lennie Pike and two brothers, Tim and Lisa Bagwell and Bobby Bagwell.
