She was buried at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Corner, Jefferson County, Alabama.

     Betty Ruth Neal was born on 25 January 1928 in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama.¹ As of 24 January 1947,her married name was Bagwell. She married Joe Bagwell, son of John Henry Bagwell and Ellen Winsted, on 24 January 1947 at Jefferson County, Alabama. Betty Ruth Neal and Joe Bagwell lived in 1957 in Panama City, Florida. Betty Ruth Neal lived in 1980 in Leeds, Alabama. She died on 13 January 2020 in Alabama at age 91

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds at 1:00PM Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds at 2:00PM with burial to follow at Forest Crest Cemetery.¹
