     Reverend James L. Phillips was born on 25 January 1824. He married Susan Carolina Bagwell, daughter of Robert Johnson Bagwell and Sarah Chamblee, on 1 January 1852. Reverend James L. Emma Hollecker died on 16 February 1981 in Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas, at age 80. She was buried at Sons of Hermann Cemetery, Orange Grove, Jim Wells County, Texas.

     Virginia Louise Bagwell was born on 6 August 1923 in Oklahoma. She was the daughter of John Lemoyne Bagwell and Emma Hollecker. As of 25 April 1943,her married name was Himes. Virginia Louise Bagwell married George Marvin Himes on 25 April 1943. Virginia Louise Bagwell died on 20 January 2007 at age 83. She was buried at Sons of Hermann Cemetery, Orange Grove, Jim Wells County, Texas.

Marvelle Bagwell Dodson, 89 years, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 7, 2014. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Marvelle worked many years as a bookkeeper for several construction companies.

She is preceded in death by her son, John L. Dodson, parents, John and Emma Bagwell, two sisters, Jean B. McLane and Virginia B. Himes.

Marvelle is survived by her daughter-in-law, Brenda Dodson, of Royse City, Texas and three granddaughters: Tammy Lynn Dodson, Kathryn Louise Dodson and Nicole Leslie Dodson. Other survivors include six great-grandchildren, two great-great granddaughter, three nieces and one nephew. Her family, church family and friends loved her very much and will miss her dearly.

There will be neither visitation nor funeral, just a short graveside service at Sons of Herman's Cemetery in Orange Grove, Texas on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. She was buried at Sons of Hermann Cemetery, Orange Grove, Jim Wells County, Texas.

     Emma Jean Bagwell was born on 5 December 1927 in Oklahoma. She was the daughter of John Lemoyne Bagwell and Emma Hollecker. Emma Jean Bagwell died on 25 January 1990 in Nueces County, Texas, at age 62. She was buried at Sons of Hermann Cemetery, Orange Grove, Jim Wells County, Texas.

     George Marvin Himes was born on 20 August 1922. He married Virginia Louise Bagwell, daughter of John Lemoyne Bagwell and Emma Hollecker, on 25 April 1943. George Marvin Himes died on 9 September 2001 at age 79. He was buried at Sons of Hermann Cemetery, Orange Grove, Jim Wells County, Texas.

     Robert Emmett Bagwell Jr. was born on 3 October 1954 in Kokomo, Howard County, Indiana.¹ He was the son of Robert Emmett Bagwell and Zelpha Jessamine McCoy.¹ Robert Emmett Bagwell Jr. married Shirley Ann Roberts after 1972. Robert Emmett Bagwell Jr. died on 6 March 2016 in Kokomo, Howard County, Indiana, at age 61 Robert Emmett Bagwell Jr., 61, Kokomo, passed away at 8:44 PM, Sunday, March 6, 2016 at St. Vincent Kokomo. He was born October 3, 1954 in Kokomo, to Robert Emmett Bagwell Sr. and Zelpha (McCoy) Bagwell. He married Sharon (Baker) Bagwell on August 23, 1990.

Robert graduated from Taylor High School in 1973. After graduation, he went on to join the United States Army for 3 years. After the Army, Robert enlisted in the United States Navy where he earned numerous medals and awards for his outstanding service during his military career. After retiring from the U.S. Navy, he worked for Frito Lay as a truck driver for 25 years before officially retiring. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, movies and music, and was a motorcycle enthusiast. Robert thoroughly loved and enjoyed his life.

Surviving is his wife of 25 years, Sharon; his parents, Robert and Zelpha; son, Robert Emmett Bagwell III; three daughters, Catrina (Robert) Adkinson, Leigh Ann (Robert) Melby, and Paige (Jeff) Hoover; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, George B. Bagwell, Randall L. Bagwell, and Jonathon L. Bagwell; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his infant sister, Debra Bagwell; and several uncles.

The funeral service will be at 12:00PM Friday, March 11, 2016 at Faith Tabernacle Church, 1300 South Ohio Ave., Kokomo, with Rev. Dan Purvis Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Albright Cemetery with full military honors conducted by United States Navy and Kokomo VFW military rites team.¹ He was buried at Albright Cemetery, Kokomo, Howard County, Indiana.

     Mamie Lou Edwards was born on 22 July 1907 in Mississippi.¹ As of after 1925,her married name was Bagwell.¹ She married Winon Howard Bagwell, son of James Leonard Bagwell and Mattie F. Gillespie, after 1925.¹ Mamie Lou Edwards died on 10 August 1982 in Oxford, Lafayette County, Mississippi, at age 75.¹ She was buried at Oxford Memorial Cemetery, Oxford, Lafayette County, Mississippi.¹

     Charles Howard Bagwell was born on 14 January 1937.¹ He was the son of Winon Howard Bagwell and Mamie Lou Edwards.¹ He was a Captain in the United States Marine Corp during Vietnam.¹ Charles Howard Bagwell died on 25 February 1975 at age 38.¹ He was buried at Oxford Memorial Cemetery, Oxford, Lafayette County, Mississippi.¹

     Nancy Lynn Bagwell was born on 8 March 1933 in Mississippi. She was the daughter of Winon Howard Bagwell and Mamie Lou Edwards. As of after 1950,her married name was Knister. Nancy Lynn Bagwell married (?) Knister after 1950. Nancy Lynn Bagwell died on 13 March 2007 at age 74.
