Kathleen Nannette Bagwell and Daniel Norman Padgett were divorced on 10 June 1987 at Palm Beach County, Florida.

     Patricia Annette Bagwell was born on 4 July 1953 in Montgomery, Montgomery County, Alabama. She was the daughter of Robert Thomas Bagwell and Lt. Amelia Beatrice Noga. As of 7 August 1976,her married name was Wallace. Patricia Annette Bagwell married Brian Evan Wallace on 7 August 1976 at Hennepin County, Minnesota. Patricia Annette Bagwell died on 13 November 2016 in Robbinsdale, Hennepin County, Minnesota, at age 63. She was buried at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Crystal, Hennepin County, Minnesota.

     Brian Evan Wallace married Patricia Annette Bagwell, daughter of Robert Thomas Bagwell and Lt. Amelia Beatrice Noga, on 7 August 1976 at Hennepin County, Minnesota.

     Carolyn Andrews was born on 28 July 1919 in Dale County, Alabama. As of September 1969,her married name was Bagwell. She married Robert Thomas Bagwell, son of William Riley Bagwell and Mamie Floyd Beasley, in September 1969. Carolyn Andrews died on 9 September 2007 in Ozark, Dale County, Alabama, at age 88. She was buried at Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Ozark, Dale County, Alabama.

     Benjamin Oz Bagwell is the son of Russell Aaron Bagwell and AshLee Linne Schafer.¹

     Herbert R. Brown was born on 10 September 1906 in Hamilton County, Texas. He married Letha Odell Bagwell, daughter of Carl Roscoe Bagwell and Martha Frances James, before 1940. Herbert R. Brown died on 22 May 1971 in Amarillo, Potter County, Texas, at age 64.

     Pamela Louise Rash was born on 7 December 1958 in Walnet Ridge, Lawrence County, Arkansas. As of after 1976,her married name was Bagwell. She married Dennis Dale Bagwell, son of Duain Wilford (Pete) Bagwell and Mary Bernice Domaschk, after 1976. Pamela Louise Rash died on 30 January 2025 in Pocahontas, Randolph County, Arkansas, at age 66. She was cremated.

     Carolyn F. Bates married David Duain Bagwell, son of Duain Wilford (Pete) Bagwell and Mary Bernice Domaschk, in 1970 at Randolph County, Arkansas.

     Robert Mark Bagwell is the son of Carl Keith Bagwell and Patricia A. (?) Robert Mark Bagwell married Vivian Lea Raison on 21 December 1981 at Loxabatchee, Palm Beach County, Florida.

     Vivian Lea Raison was born on 17 January 1963 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. As of 21 December 1981,her married name was Bagwell. She married Robert Mark Bagwell, son of Carl Keith Bagwell and Patricia A. (?), on 21 December 1981 at Loxabatchee, Palm Beach County, Florida. Vivian Lea Raison died on 21 July 2020 at age 57

Vivian was born in Perth Amboy, NJ on January 17, 1963 to Melvin and Pat Raison. When she was a young child, her parents moved with their six children to the state of Florida, eventually landing in Ft Lauderdale.

Vivian met Robert M Bagwell Sr in 1981. They were married on December 24th of that same year in Loxahatchee, FL. Together they had three children: Kristy, Robbie, and Patricia (deceased).

She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family, bowling, reading, listening to music, fishing, writing, making jokes, playing board games, and talking on the phone with family and friends, who lived long distance. She loved talking to everyone that she met, no matter where she met them, because she never met a stranger. She taught her children what unconditional was, how to be open minded, how to be kind, how to care for others, how to always give, even if you don't have it to give, and how to listen with the intent to understand others instead of listening with the intent to reply and judge. Vivian enjoyed a good laugh and always said, " Laugh at yourself, because others were going to do it anyway." She was always up for an adventure, whether it be going on a simple walk, being chased by geese out of a prime fishing spot or taking a wrong turn and driving down a one way street into oncoming traffic. She absolutely loved the holiday season, her favorite parts were cooking for and just being able to spend time with friends and family. That is what always mattered to her the most, spending time with the people that she loved. She put others first, no matter how bad her day was, she always took the time to check on others. Another special thing in her life was her animals and the special bond she had with them. She loved caring for, cuddling and playing with Ivy, Spock, Daffy, Bert and Max.

Vivian is survived by her husband Robert M Bagwell Sr; children Kristy L Bagwell, Robert M Bagwell Jr, and Deoshia McAbee-Puckett; mother in law, Patricia Bagwell; two sisters, Penny Bryant ( Walter), and Patsy Cheatham (Tom); one brother, Eldon Raison ( Debbie); sister in laws Karen Raison, and Donna Reynolds (Jeff); best friends/sisters, Michele Hood Rhodes and Linda Parsons; nieces Karyn Heath, Leah Crisp (Chad), Beth Paul (Matt), Georgia Bryant, Lydia Johnson (Brent), Shannon Reynolds Linkous; nephews James Raison (Malori), Mike Reynolds (Kayla), and Steve Reynolds (Laura); several great nieces and nephews, Lake, Honey, Heath, Hagen, Alex, Anna, Hailey, Alexa, Mathew, Daken, Zeke, Ruth, and Elijah.

Other family members or special people in her life were, Kathy Strickland, Kara J., Savannah Shaw, Deja Puckett, D Puckett, Gail Valdivia, SSG Steven Gonzalez, Ashley Valdivia, Debra Gilbert, Kalayla Gilbert, Earline Walker, Tracy Pitts, Tammie S., and Gabrielle T.

She was preceded in death by her father Melvin D Raison; her mother, Patricia A Raison; her daughter, Patricia M Bagwell; and brother Dennis Raison.

     Robert Mark Bagwell is the son of Robert Mark Bagwell and Vivian Lea Raison.

     Kristy Lea Bagwell is the daughter of Robert Mark Bagwell and Vivian Lea Raison.

     Patricia M. Bagwell was born circa 1985. She was the daughter of Robert Mark Bagwell and Vivian Lea Raison. Patricia M. Bagwell died before 2025.

     Thomas Jefferson Reynolds married Donna Benita Bagwell, daughter of Carl Keith Bagwell and Patricia A. (?), on 27 December 1981 at Jackson, Hinds County, Mississippi.

     Floyd Barnes married Bertie Maereed Bagwell, daughter of Jason Ceymore Bagwell and Samantha Alice Burdue, after 1920.

     William Dennis Scheffler married Betty Jo Badgwell, daughter of John Jacob Badgwell and Willie Mae Jones, in 1943.

     Jim Tom Badgwell was born on 24 February 1932. He was the son of John Jacob Badgwell and Willie Mae Jones. Jim Tom Badgwell died on 6 October 2011 in Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, Florida, at age 79. He was cremated.

     James M. Hail married Sarah Bagwell, daughter of Kennedy Canida Bagwell and Elizabeth Savage, on 10 January 1881 at Bell County, Texas.

     Doris Fay Woodmansee married Calvin Eugene Bagwell, son of Richard Dick Bagwell and Lillie R. Castello, on 25 May 1951 at Tom Greene County, Texas.

     Virginia Marion Knox was born on 2 July 1917 in Virginia. As of before 1932,her married name was Bagwell. She married Richard Bagwell Sr., son of John E. Allen and Martha Bagwell, before 1932. Virginia Marion Knox died on 6 February 1998 in Accomack Nursing Home, Parksley, Accomack County, Virginia, at age 80. She was buried at Household of Ruth Cemetery, Accomac, Accomack County, Virginia.

     Pauline Marie Bagwell was born on 6 February 1932 in Onancock, Virginia. She was the daughter of Richard Bagwell Sr. and Virginia Marion Knox. As of after 1950,her married name was Johnson. Pauline Marie Bagwell married James Arthur Johnson after 1950. Pauline Marie Bagwell married James Arthur Johnson after 1950. Pauline Marie Bagwell died on 9 November 2020 in Parksley, Accomack County, Virginia, at age 88


Pauline Marie Johnson was born in Onancock, Virginia on February 6, 1932 to the late Richard Bagwell Sr. and Virginia Knox-Bagwell. She was the oldest of three siblings who include: Richard Bagwell, Jr. and Florence Bagwell Matthews. Pauline was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Arthur Johnson who passed on February 13, 2015; her dearest son, Gerald Joseph Johnson who passed on May 21,1989, and her step-daughter, Linda L. Johnson who passed on July 24, 2010. Pauline attended school in Accomack, Virginia and graduated from Mary M. Smith High School. She was a spiritual woman who practiced Methodist faith-based religion and belonged to the Methodist Church in Onancock, Virginia. She later joined St. Anthony Church in the Bronx, New York and Sacred Heart in Mt. Vernon, New York. Pauline met her husband, James Johnson at the age of 22 in the South Bronx. They were married for over 60 years. They began their journey in 1954 by working together to build their black-owned establishment, Johnson’s BBQ. Johnson’s BBQ had several locations in the South Bronx and was known for it’s southern homestyle cooking, mustard and red BBQ sauce, and most of all, serving the community. Pauline enjoyed cooking, reading, and listening to all genres of music; she was a big fan of Al Green. She enjoyed spending time with family, watching basketball, and had a knack for interior design. She was well-known for her fashionable style, class, and grace. Pauline leaves behind to cherish her memory two loving children: Dwayne Arthur Johnson (Stacey Jones-Johnson) and Paula and Anthony Stone; two loving step-children, Larry Johnson and Cheryl Dunbar; four grandchildren, Jessica Richards (Phillip Richards), Jennifer Coleman (Aubry Charles), Michael Coleman, and Stacia Dwaina Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Tristan Richards who refers to her as “Baby Grandma,” Ava Grace Richards, and Gabrielle Richards; favorite cousin, Geraldine Bundick; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pauline Johnson’s legacy continues to live on through the hearts of her loving friends and family members. She and James’ vision for Johnson’s BBQ continues to prosper with the establishment’s work and service to the community.


She was buried on 14 November 2020 at Johnson Family Cemetery, Parksley, Accomack County, Virginia.

     Florence Virginia Bagwell is the daughter of Richard Bagwell Sr. and Virginia Marion Knox. Florence Virginia Bagwell married Addison Matthews after 1965.

     James Arthur Johnson married Pauline Marie Bagwell, daughter of Richard Bagwell Sr. and Virginia Marion Knox, after 1950.

     James Arthur Johnson was born on 26 March 1923 in Hampton, South Carolina. He married Pauline Marie Bagwell, daughter of Richard Bagwell Sr. and Virginia Marion Knox, after 1950. James Arthur Johnson died on 13 February 2015 in Bronx, New York City, New York, at age 91. He was buried on 19 February 2015 at Parksley, Accomack County, Virginia.

     Addison Matthews married Florence Virginia Bagwell, daughter of Richard Bagwell Sr. and Virginia Marion Knox, after 1965.

     Rosemary Bagwell was born on 18 December 1930 in Cambria, Williamson County, Illinois. She was the daughter of Otis Lester Bagwell and Babe Campbell. As of 7 February 1950,her married name was Moorman. Rosemary Bagwell married Laverne Wade Moorman on 7 February 1950. Rosemary Bagwell died on 25 December 2024 in Tolono, Champaign County, Illinois, at age 94


Rosemary Moorman, 94, of Tolono, IL passed away on December 25, 2024. A gravesite burial will be privately held. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM on Monday, January 6, 2025, at The First Baptist Church of Tolono. A Celebration of Life will follow with Dr. Michael J. Frazier officiating, with a fellowship luncheon afterward.

Rosemary was born December 18, 1930, in Cambria, Illinois, to parents Otis Lester and Babe Bagwell. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Michael Moorman in 1984, her husband Wade Moorman in 2018, six brothers and one sister.

Surviving are children: Sheri (Jim) Kallembach of DeKalb, IL, Carol (John) Cobble of Champaign, IL and Gerald Moorman of Attica, IN. Also surviving are her sister Joan Rhodes of Zeigler, IL, and grandchildren James (Elisabeth) Kallembach of Crete, Jennifer Kallembach of DeKalb, Kastie (Tim) Pavlik of Tolono, Leif Cobble (partner Renee Rosa) of SC, Kayla Cobble (fiance Keith Harris) of Champaign, Meredith Cobble (fiance Michael Brake Jr.) of Fisher, Nicholas (Erica) Moorman of Danville, Michael (Jessica) Moorman of Danville and Sara (Mark) Gaines of FL; 14 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Also many loved nieces and nephews.

Rosemary was employed at Sears in Champaign as a major appliance sales associate for 27 years prior to her retirement in 1998. She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Tolono where she also taught Sunday School and led a home Worship Team for many years. She enjoyed doing all types of puzzles, traveling with her late husband, visiting her growing family, and giving and receiving hugs. Her words she lived by were, "It is always a joy to teach God's Word and it is exciting to read, and learn the truths He has for each of us." She truly was a servant of God teaching and walking with her Savior.

Her family has much gratitude to Brookdale Urbana and Transitions Care for the loving care she received.

She was buried on 6 January 2025 at Bailey Memorial Cemetery, Tolono, Champaign County, Illinois.

     Laverne Wade Moorman married Rosemary Bagwell, daughter of Otis Lester Bagwell and Babe Campbell, on 7 February 1950.

     Monroe Gaston Messer was born in December 1881 in Alabama. He married Lillie Adele Bagwell, daughter of Wiley Biggers Bagwell and Mattie James, on 31 July 1904 at Talladega County, Alabama.
