     Joyce Elaine Bagwell was born on 7 March 1942 in Chester County, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Broadus Belton Bagwell and Mamie Sue Wilbanks. As of after 1960,her married name was Howard. Joyce Elaine Bagwell married Reverend Jack Howard after 1960. Joyce Elaine Bagwell died on 27 November 2025 in Chester County, South Carolina, at age 83

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Barron Funeral Chapel (133 Wylie St, Chester, SC 29706). A reception will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

     Janet Cecilia Carroll was born on 8 January 1958 in Greenville, South Carolina. As of circa 1975,her married name was Bagwell. She married Wayne M. Bagwell, son of James Cecil Bagwell and Ruth Evelyn McGaha, circa 1975. Janet Cecilia Carroll died on 24 November 2025 at age 67


Janet was a daughter, wife, sister, mother, and grandmother who loved people as they were and she never met a stranger. Janet Cecilia Bagwell, 67, of Greenville, SC, passed away in her home on November 24, 2025.

She was born in Greenville, SC on January 8, 1958 to the late Herbert and Gwen Carroll. Janet attended Parker High School before attending cosmetology school. She went on to work at several different salons along her journey including owning her own salon cutting hair for over 50 years and it was always important to her because she wanted to ensure people could look and feel their best.

Janet met the love of her life, Wayne, while at Parker as they were both a part of the Parker High School Golden Regiment (Marching Band). He was the drum major and she was a majorette and they never looked back. Excited to start their new lives together, the two were married and just recently celebrated their 50th anniversary.

Janet and Wayne couldn’t wait to start a family of their own and their son, Craig, became their whole world. Though she loved Craig, Janet found her true love as a grandmother. She treasured her time with her grandchildren and loved being their Nana, never failing to love them with her whole heart.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her her parents-in-law, and her brother-in-law, Jimmy. She is survived by her husband Wayne; her son Craig, his wife Angie, and their children Mia, Dylan, Luke, Jones, and Ryleigh; her brothers and their wives: Winfred "Chuck" and Shaaron, Wayne and Helen, and Dan and Mandy; her brothers-in-law and their wives: Mike and Patty, Bobby and Cindy, Ronnie, and Rex and Bonnie; along with many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly (Nancy, Jennifer, Seth, Gina, Lori, Taylor, Angie, Jamie, Christie, Keith, Scott, Caroline, Micah, Katie, and Christopher).

A funeral service to celebrate Janet's life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Graceland Mortuary, 4814 White Horse Rd., Greenville, SC 29611. Her family will receive friends and loved ones an hour prior, beginning 1:00 PM. Committal and burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery West, located at the same address.      Lloyd Dewaine Bagwill Jr. was born on 27 December 1945 in Doniphan, Ripley County, Missouri. He was the son of Lloyd Dewaine Bagwill and Bettie L. Pepmiller. Lloyd Dewaine Bagwill Jr. married Wanda Lou Freeman after 1963. Lloyd Dewaine Bagwill Jr. died on 8 December 2021 at age 75. He was buried at Shirley Cemetery, Briar, Ripley County, Missouri.

     Robert Lance Bagwill is the son of Lloyd Dewaine Bagwill and Bettie L. Pepmiller.

     Wanda Lou Freeman was born on 14 July 1945 in Doniphan, Ripley County, Missouri. As of after 1963,her married name was Bagwill. She married Lloyd Dewaine Bagwill Jr., son of Lloyd Dewaine Bagwill and Bettie L. Pepmiller, after 1963. Wanda Lou Freeman died on 12 December 2017 in Doniphan, Ripley County, Missouri, at age 72. She was buried at Shirley Cemetery, Briar, Ripley County, Missouri.

     Sandra D. Bagwill is the daughter of Lloyd Dewaine Bagwill Jr. and Wanda Lou Freeman. Sandra D. Bagwill married Glynn Dilbeck after 1984.
