     Albert Ivey Lawlis Sr. was born on 9 July 1890. He married Birdie Blanche Bagwell, daughter of James Edgar Bagwell and Hattie A. Richardson, in 1913. Albert Ivey Lawlis Sr. died on 29 December 1944 at age 54. He was buried at Falba Cemetery, Huntsville, Walker County, Texas.

     Reba Marie Medford married James William Bagwell, son of James Edgar Bagwell and Hattie A. Richardson, on 21 June 1954 at Richmond, Contra Costa County, California.¹

     Beersheba Bagwell was born in 1785 in Wake County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Frederick Burk Bagwell and Mary Polly Hill. As of after 1800,her married name was Maddox. Beersheba Bagwell married Benjamin Lawson Maddox III after 1800. Beersheba Bagwell died in 1860 in Union County, Arkansas.

     Benjamin Lawson Maddox III was born in 1784 in Lancaster County, South Carolina. He married Beersheba Bagwell, daughter of Frederick Burk Bagwell and Mary Polly Hill, after 1800. Benjamin Lawson Maddox III died in August 1850 in Clark County, Arkansas.

Phillip Jackson Bagwell, age 69, of Buford, GA was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, the 23rd day of March. He passed in his residence surrounded by his wife and children. Mr. Bagwell was born on December 19th, 1954 in Buford to the late John E. Bagwell and Rose Lou Bagwell. He lived in Buford most of his life where he worked as a carpenter. Mr. Bagwell enjoyed fixing things, spending time with his family, and gardening. He was a 1972 graduate of Buford High School. He is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Holly Wiley Bagwell of Buford; his children, Diana Roach Blihovde of Cleveland, Hilary Bagwell Sizemore (Chase) of Sylvester, and Joshua Bagwell of Buford; his grandchildren, Steven Black, Savannah Blihovde, Brianna Blihovde, Paisley Sizemore, Ryder Sizemore, and Ethan Sizemore.
Mr. Bagwell was the youngest of seven children. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Mary Kennedy of Cumming. He is survived by his brothers, Blake Bagwell (Bonnie) of Buford, Kenneth Bagwell (Jean) of Buford and Trent Bagwell (Gail) of Buford; his sisters, Miriam Puckett of Buford and Phyllis Stamps of Hartwell; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins whom he loved very much.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Stephanie Oden and Rev. Billy Bishop officiating. Inurnment will be at the New Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour.

Mary Bagwell Kennedy, age 79, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023. She was born in 1943, to the late John and Rose Louise Bagwell. Mary was a member of Freedom Tabernacle in Cumming, GA. She loved her family and enjoyed every moment she had to be with them. She loved flowers and gardening. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to many. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joel Kennedy.

She is survived by her children, Joy (Todd) Rambo, Jan (Raleigh) Phillips, Jon (Candy) Kennedy, and Jill (Robbie) Mathis; grandchildren, Nathan (Kristy) Phillips, Marci (Josh) Jones, Abbey (Zach) Princell, Jacob (Laurel) Phillips, Makayla Kennedy, Andrew (Kaitlyn) Rambo, Bennett (Kendall) Mathis, Malachi Mathis, Mariah Kennedy, and Kara Mathis; 1 great grandchild, Easton Phillips; siblings, Blake (Bonnie) Bagwell, Kenneth (Jean) Bagwell, Miriam Puckett, Trent (Gail) Bagwell, Phyllis Stamps, and Phillip (Holly) Bagwell; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA with Pastor Robbie Mathis and Pastor Jonathan Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Freedom Tabernacle Church in Cumming, GA.
