     Luke T. Bagwell is the son of John Dewey Bagwell and Kelly Ann Leneave.

     Gary Ray Mathews married Brenda Gail Bagwell, daughter of Andrew Walker Bagwell and Willine Lee Ila Moody, on 18 April 1969 at Witchita County, Texas. Gary Ray Mathews and Brenda Gail Bagwell were divorced in February 1971 at Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California.

     Catherine C. Bagwell was born on 29 March 1939 in Marion County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Silas Edward Bagwell and Elizabeth Aleta Cambron. As of 1958,her married name was Holzknecht. Catherine C. Bagwell married Carl Michael Holzknecht in 1958. As of 26 August 1989,her married name was Yuhas. Catherine C. Bagwell married John A. Yuhas on 26 August 1989 at Jefferson County, Kentucky. Catherine C. Bagwell died on 10 July 2026 in Mount Washington, Bullitt County, Kentucky, at age 87


Catherine "Cathy" Yuhas, age 87 of Mt. Washington, Ky peacefully passed away on July 10, 2026 at her home with all her loved ones by her side. Born on March 29, 1939 in Marion Co. Ky.

She graduated from Ahrens Trade School and worked for Ben Snyder and years later at Armour Foods. She was married to her husband, John Yuhas for 37 years. They enjoyed years of camping, fishing and square dancing. Her proudest moments were with her children and her grandchildren. They were her world! We all looked forward to our yearly call from her to sing Happy Birthday. She was a Humane Society advocate and before her illness she loved having a dog in her home. During the holidays she enjoyed making fudge and baking cookies. Everyone could not wait for the gift bag of goodies. Beside her family her other love was her beloved Kentucky Wildcats! Mom, Nanny, Cat or Cathy - thank you for every hug, every cookie, every batch of fudge, every sacrifice, and every moment of love you gave so freely. We will cherish these memories and take comfort in knowing that one day, we will see you again. Until then, rest peacefully. You were deeply loved, and you will be deeply missed.

Special thanks to her cousin, Marlene for all her love and support when it was needed the most. Our family could not of cared for mom without the love and help from Kay, Amanda, Ginette, Judy, Melinda, Jody, Dana and Stephanie.



She was preceded in death by her parents, Silas and Elizabeth Cambron Bagwell; brother, Thomas Bagwell and sister, Charlotte Mattingly.



In addition to her husband John; she is survived by her daughters, Kim Pomerleau, Jeri Doyle (David), Dawn Rowe, son, Mike Holzknecht, Jr; grandchildren, David, Bud, Michelle, Terry, Laura, Drew; great grandchildren, Mason, Sunnie, Shelby, Silas, Ritchie, Caroline and Willow; Mike Holzknecht, Sr. the father of her children; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Cathy Yuhas will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 16, 2026. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2026.


She was buried at Resthaven Memorial Cemetery, Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky.

     John A. Yuhas married Catherine C. Bagwell, daughter of Silas Edward Bagwell and Elizabeth Aleta Cambron, on 26 August 1989 at Jefferson County, Kentucky.

     Carl Michael Holzknecht married Catherine C. Bagwell, daughter of Silas Edward Bagwell and Elizabeth Aleta Cambron, in 1958.

     William Robert Mattingly was born on 23 November 1934 in Lebanon, Marion County, Kentucky. He married Charlotte Ann Bagwell, daughter of Silas Edward Bagwell and Elizabeth Aleta Cambron, in 1955. William Robert Mattingly died on 20 July 2020 in Lebanon, Marion County, Kentucky, at age 85. He was buried at Saint Augustine Church Cemetery, Lebanon, Marion County, Kentucky.

     Kimberly Kay Singleton married Stephen Jerome Bagwell, son of Thomas Cleveland Bagwell and Gertrude Jeanette Cahoe, after 1986.

     Lester Brown married Lisa Bagwell, daughter of Thomas Cleveland Bagwell and Gertrude Jeanette Cahoe, after 2000.

     David A. Tripp married Kim Rena Bagwell, daughter of Kenneth Talmadge Bagwell and Margaret Ann Miller, circa 1985.

     Lonny Dale Bridges married Rhoda Kay Britt after 1990.

     Jamey Tedder married Laura Solan Bagwell, daughter of Michael Talmadge Bagwell and Rhoda Kay Britt, after 1999.

     Jessica Kritner married Joshua Britt Bagwell, son of Michael Talmadge Bagwell and Rhoda Kay Britt, before 1997.

     Colby Britt Bagwell is the son of Joshua Britt Bagwell and Jessica Kritner.

     William J. Luck married Paula Ann Bagwell, daughter of Kenneth Dale Bagwell and Patsy Evans, on 12 July 2011 at Tarrant County, Texas.

     Kenneth Ray Bagwell Jr. is the son of Kenneth Ray Bagwell and Judy Sue Cobb. Kenneth Ray Bagwell Jr. married Carol Anne Jenkins (?) in May 1986 at Victorville, California.

     Carol Anne Jenkins (?) was born in September 1965. As of May 1986,her married name was Bagwell. She married Kenneth Ray Bagwell Jr., son of Kenneth Ray Bagwell and Judy Sue Cobb, in May 1986 at Victorville, California. As of after 2000,her married name was Hutton. Carol Anne Jenkins (?) married Michael Hutton after 2000.

     Patricia Lee Holley married Robert F. Bagwell, son of Louis Wilson Bagwell and Gertrude Johns, on 21 December 1952.¹ Patricia Lee Holley married (?) Braxton after 1965.

     David Wayne Bagwell is the son of Robert F. Bagwell and Patricia Lee Holley. David Wayne Bagwell married Cathleen Jo Reed after 1974.

     Gary F. Bagwell was born in March 1956 in Alabama.¹ He was the son of Robert F. Bagwell and Patricia Lee Holley.¹ Gary F. Bagwell died on 12 August 2014 in St. Vincent Hospital East, Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama, at age 58.

     Cathleen Jo Reed married David Wayne Bagwell, son of Robert F. Bagwell and Patricia Lee Holley, after 1974.

     Aaron Wayne Bagwell is the son of David Wayne Bagwell and Cathleen Jo Reed.

     Olivia Rae Bagwell is the daughter of David Wayne Bagwell and Cathleen Jo Reed. Olivia Rae Bagwell married Blake Allen Whittington on 11 November 2006 at Palisades Park, Oneonta, Alabama.
