     Bradshaw Bagwell was also known as Bruce Moffatt Bagwell Jr. He was born on 28 March 1940 in Laurens County, South Carolina. He was the son of Bruce Moffatt Bagwell and Carrie Lizzie White. Bradshaw Bagwell married Marge Lusk after 1959. Bradshaw Bagwell died on 5 May 1997 at age 57. He was buried at Rabun Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Hickory Tavern, Laurens County, South Carolina.

     John Broadus Bagwell was born on 12 July 1938 in South Carolina. He was the son of Bruce Moffatt Bagwell and Carrie Lizzie White. He served in the US Army from from 11 May 1955 to 8 January 1958. John Broadus Bagwell married Annie Coleman after 1958. John Broadus Bagwell died on 17 August 1986 at age 48. He was buried at Rabun Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Hickory Tavern, Laurens County, South Carolina.

     Elmer Erman Bagwell was born on 11 January 1945 in Alabama. He was the son of James Wiley Bagwell and Georgia Rickman. Elmer Erman Bagwell married Janie Rhea Hunter in July 1967 at Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. Elmer Erman Bagwell lived in 2020 in Fosters, Alabama.      Paul Malloy Bagwell was born on 12 June 1947. He was the son of James Wiley Bagwell and Georgia Rickman. Paul Malloy Bagwell lived in 2020 in Northport, Alabama. He died on 10 February 2022 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, at age 74. He was buried at Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo, Shelby County, Alabama.

     Floyd Andrew Bagwell is the son of James Wiley Bagwell and Georgia Rickman. Floyd Andrew Bagwell married Vera Lee in February 1967 at Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.

Vera Lee Bagwell was born on Tuesday, March 5, 1946, and was welcome into the loving arms of Jesus on Thursday, April 25, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ethel Lee. Her brothers: Truman Lee, Chester Lee, Wallace Lee, of Tuscaloosa, AL. and Roy Lee, of Huntsville, AL and her sister, Jean Lee Thornton, of Tuscaloosa, AL. Also her son-in-law, Shaun Heath Stoudenmire of Woodstock, AL.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Floyd Bagwell, her daughters, Danni Stoudenmire, of Woodstock, Andi Corbett Woodstock, Brandi Hatfield (Joel) of Tuscaloosa. Her grandchildren: Anna Michelle Corbett, Michael Andrew Corbett, Samuel Houston Stoudenmire, Joel Harrison Hatfield, John Nicholas Stoudenmire, and Eva Caroline Hatfield. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and many other family members whom she loved very much.

Vera was born in Tuscaloosa, AL and graduated Tuscaloosa County High School in May 1 964. After graduating, she began working as a telephone operator at South Central Belt. It was through a friend and a blind date that she met Floyd Bagwell. The blind date turned into a marriage that began on February 12, 1967, and has lasted for the past 57 years.

Vera raised her 3 daughters and loved volunteering at their elementary and high school. She was room mother and very active in the PTA. She was also active in band booster and did not miss a performance, or concert that her daughters were a part of. She also truly enjoyed entertaining especially on holidays. She would surprise her daughters when they came home from school with the house completely decorated for Easter, Halloween and especially Christmas (which was her favorite holiday). She enjoyed having neighbors over for dinner or just to socialize.

When her daughters were older and moved out, Vera decided she wanted to go back to work. So she found a job at Wal-Mart, where she loved being team member in any way they needed her. She enjoyed talking and interacting with customers and came to Love some of her feIlow employees as family. After her time there she found another work home at Cracker Barrel. She loved decorating and putting together displays for all the holidays and any other occasion that gave her a chance to show off her creative side.

After working for so many years, she decided that it was time to retire from working. So when Floyd retired she retired with him. So, for the last 15 years, they have enjoyed retirement and have spent it loving on their grandchildren, going for rides to wherever, and watching TV mainly Lifetime and westerns.

Vera was a Believer in Jesus and at an early age accepted Christ and was baptized. She was active in church for most of her life and at the end of her life was quoted to say, “God is in control”, and “ I am at peace”. She will be missed very much and though we are saddened by her passing, we are comforted to know we will see her again and be reunited with her in Heaven as we cling to the promises of our Lord in His Word.

Funeral services will be Monday April 29th, 2024 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Tuscaloosa.

     Janie Rhea Hunter was born in October 1946 in Alabama. As of July 1967,her married name was Bagwell. She married Elmer Erman Bagwell, son of James Wiley Bagwell and Georgia Rickman, in July 1967 at Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. Janie Rhea Hunter died on 18 February 2024 at age 77. She was buried at Memory Hill Gardens, Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.

     James Donald Bagwell was born on 19 January 1943 in Alabama. He was the son of James Wiley Bagwell and Georgia Rickman. James Donald Bagwell lived in 2020 in Fosters, Alabama. He died on 25 October 2023 at age 80. He was buried on 30 October 2023 at Memory Hill Gardens, Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.

     Richard Allan Bagwill Jr. is the son of Richard Alan Bagwill and (?) Burnes. Richard Allan Bagwill Jr. married Juliann J. Merrifield on 6 June 1970 at Los Angeles City, Los Angeles County, California.

     Juliann J. Merrifield married Richard Allan Bagwill Jr., son of Richard Alan Bagwill and (?) Burnes, on 6 June 1970 at Los Angeles City, Los Angeles County, California.

     Martin McDonnell was born on 11 April 1903. He married Helen Anna Bowen in 1940. Martin McDonnell died on 22 December 1978 in Los Angeles City, Los Angeles County, California, at age 75.

     Charles Eulas Bagwell was born on 21 May 1908 in Antlers, Oklahoma. He was the son of James Sidney Bagwell and Eva Cordelia Lewis. Charles Eulas Bagwell married Jettie Anne Thomas before 1930. Charles Eulas Bagwell died on 28 August 1975 in San Bernardino County, California, at age 67. He was buried on 2 September 1975 at Mountain View Mausoleum, San Bernardino County, California.

     Jettie Anne Thomas was born on 24 October 1909 in Wolf City, Texas. As of before 1930,her married name was Bagwell. She married Charles Eulas Bagwell, son of James Sidney Bagwell and Eva Cordelia Lewis, before 1930. Jettie Anne Thomas died on 9 February 1991 in Lake Havasu Regional Hospital, Lake Havasu, Arizona, at age 81. She was buried on 13 February 1991 at Mountain View Mausoleum, San Bernardino County, California.
