Survivors include his wife of 75 years, Hazel McCarthur Bagwell of Ackerman; a son, Dr. Billy McCarthur Bagwell of Hattiesburg; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Bagwell McIntire.

Mrs. Holman is survived by two daughters, Peggy Wallace of Jackson, Sue Haley of McCarley; one son, Thomas G. Holman of Columbus; one sister, Minerva Williams of Ackerman; one brother. Bill Bagwell of Ackerman; 11 grandchildren; 19
great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren.
