     Jay Emmett Bagwell was also known as J. Emmett Bagwell. He was born on 25 July 1920 in Clarksville, Tennessee. He was the son of John Milton Bagwell and Annie Lillian Stewart. Jay Emmett Bagwell married Juanita Emma Tatum on 5 September 1942 at Hopknsville, Kentucky. He served in the US Army from 28 February 1943 unitl 29 December 1945. Jay Emmett Bagwell died on 25 September 1993 in Trinity Hospital, Erin, Houston County, Tennessee, at age 73. He was buried on 27 September 1993 at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Erin, Houston County, Tennessee.

     Minnie Alma Crotzer was also known as Alma Crotzer. She was born on 7 May 1882.¹ She married Thomas Lurton Bagwell, son of James Wiley Bagwell and Elizabeth Frances Edwards, on 27 December 1904.¹ Minnie Alma Crotzer and Thomas Lurton Bagwell lived circa 1918 in Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee. Minnie Alma Crotzer died on 22 February 1953 in Tennessee at age 70.¹

     Lucy Edwina Castleberry was born on 15 March 1881 in Tennessee.¹ She married James Allen Bagwell, son of James Wiley Bagwell and Elizabeth Frances Edwards, after 1890. Lucy Edwina Castleberry died on 11 January 1957 in Fredonia, Montgomery County, Tennessee, at age 75.¹ She was buried at Stewart-Rinehart Cemetery, Fredonia, Montgomery County, Tennessee.¹

     Luther Gilmer Bagwell was also known as Gilmer Luther Bagwell. He was born on 22 July 1909 in Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee.¹ He was the son of James Allen Bagwell and Lucy Edwina Castleberry. Luther Gilmer Bagwell married Merab Mayze Albright after 1925.² Luther Gilmer Bagwell died on 30 December 1960 in Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee, at age 51.¹ He was buried at Sango Cemetery, Sango, Montgomery County, Tennessee.¹

     Merab Mayze Albright was born on 3 December 1911 in Montgomery County, Tennessee.¹ She married Luther Gilmer Bagwell, son of James Allen Bagwell and Lucy Edwina Castleberry, after 1925.¹ Merab Mayze Albright was buried at Sango Cemetery, Sango, Montgomery County, Tennessee.¹ She died on 11 April 1997 in Montgomery County, Tennessee, at age 85. Samuel Pleasant Bagwell and Wiliana Davenport Goodman lived in 1870 in Farmington, Graves County, Kentucky. Samuel Pleasant Bagwell died on 30 August 1877 in Graves County, Kentucky, at age 61 Samuel Pleasant Bagwell was born on February 14, 1816 in Virginia.

He was married about 1843 to Wiliana Davenport Goodman (1824-1909), the daughter of Zachariah Goodman (1785-1846) and Elizabeth Ann Moss Ballou (1785-1853).

     Alice V. Bagwell was born circa 1845 in Kentucky. She was the daughter of Samuel Pleasant Bagwell and Wiliana Davenport Goodman. Alice V. Bagwell married William Penn Guthrie on 21 February 1864 at Montgomery County, Tennessee. Alice V. Bagwell died between 1867 and 1869. She was buried in March 1885 at Guthrie Cemetery, Murray, Calloway County, Kentucky.

     William Penn Guthrie was born on 13 September 1843 in Kentucky. He married Alice V. Bagwell, daughter of Samuel Pleasant Bagwell and Wiliana Davenport Goodman, on 21 February 1864 at Montgomery County, Tennessee. William Penn Guthrie died on 28 February 1885 in Murray, Calloway County, Kentucky, at age 41.

     Edward Bentley Bagwell was born on 14 April 1847 in Montgomery County, Tennessee.¹ He was the son of Samuel Pleasant Bagwell and Wiliana Davenport Goodman. Edward Bentley Bagwell married Sarah Jane Lyle on 25 November 1872 at Montgomery County, Tennessee.^2,1 Edward Bentley Bagwell died on 1 January 1916 in Montgomery County, Tennessee, at age 68.¹ He was buried at Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery, Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee.¹

     Sarah Jane Lyle was born on 15 January 1849 in Montgomery County, Tennessee.¹ She married Edward Bentley Bagwell, son of Samuel Pleasant Bagwell and Wiliana Davenport Goodman, on 25 November 1872 at Montgomery County, Tennessee.^1,2 Sarah Jane Lyle died on 18 March 1928 in Montgomery County, Tennessee, at age 79.¹ She was buried at Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery, Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee.¹

     George P. Bagwell was born in 1849 in Montgomery County, Tennessee. He was the son of Samuel Pleasant Bagwell and Wiliana Davenport Goodman. George P. Bagwell died between 1850 and 1860 in Montgomery County, Tennessee.

     Samuel Good Bagwell was born on 31 January 1851 in Montgomery County, Tennessee.¹ He was the son of Samuel Pleasant Bagwell and Wiliana Davenport Goodman. Samuel Good Bagwell married Mary E. Thompson circa 1876.^1,2 Samuel Good Bagwell died on 10 January 1925 in Murray, Calloway County, Kentucky, at age 73 of Prostate Cancer.



Samuel Good Bagwell was born on January 31, 1851 in Montgomery County, Tennessee, the son of Samuel Pleasant Bagwell (1816-1877) and Willie Anna Davenport Goodman (1824-1909).

He was married about 1876 to Mary E Thompson (1853-1927), the daughter of William R "W R" Thompson and Martha Ann Hunt.

A farmer, Samuel and Mary lived most of their married life in Graves County, Kentucky. He died of cancer on October 1, 1825 in Murray, Calloway County, Kentucky and was buried the next day in Burnetts Chapel Cemetery in Graves County.¹ He was buried at Burnetts Chapel Cemetery, Graves County, Texas.¹

     Mary E. Thompson was born on 28 February 1853 in Montgomery County, Tennessee.¹ As of circa 1876,her married name was Bagwell.² She married Samuel Good Bagwell, son of Samuel Pleasant Bagwell and Wiliana Davenport Goodman, circa 1876.^2,1 Mary E. Thompson died on 6 June 1927 in Swann, Graves County, Kentucky, at age 74

She was married about 1876 to Samuel Good Bagwell (1851-1925), the son of Samuel Pleasant Bagwell and Willie Ann Davenport Goodman.

Mary passed away on June 6, 1927 in Mayfield, Graves County, Kentucky and was buried the next day in Burnetts Chapel Cemetery.

     Willie Anna Bagwell was born on 4 May 1854 in Montgomery County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Samuel Pleasant Bagwell and Wiliana Davenport Goodman. Willie Anna Bagwell died on 30 January 1937 in Hazel, Calloway County, Kentucky, at age 82 of pneumonia, she was not married. She was buried at Barnett Cemetery #1, Pottertown, Calloway County, Kentucky.

     Charles Archer Bagwell was born on 5 September 1859 in Montgomery County, Tennessee.¹ He was the son of Samuel Pleasant Bagwell and Wiliana Davenport Goodman. Charles Archer Bagwell married Nora Hilda Burnett on 4 January 1900 at Sedalia, Graves County, Kentucky. Charles Archer Bagwell died on 20 August 1924 in Murray, Calloway County, Kentucky, at age 64 Charles Archer "Charlie" Bagwell was born on September 5, 1859 in Montgomery County, Tennessee, the son of Samuel Pleasant Bagwell and Wilianna Davenport Goodman. [NOTE: His Death Certificate lists her name as Walena Goodwin.]

He was married about 1899 in Kentucky to Nora Hilda Burnett (1870-1945), the daughter of William W Burnett (1832-1880) and Izora Ophelia Darliska Drennan (1841-1919).

A farmer, he died of nephritis on August 20, 1924 in Murray, Calloway County, Kentucky and was buried the next day in Burnetts Chapel Cemetery.¹ He was buried at Burnetts Chapel Cemetery, Graves County, Kentucky.¹

     John Newsome Bagwell was born in December 1862 in Montgomery County, Tennessee. He was the son of Samuel Pleasant Bagwell and Wiliana Davenport Goodman. John Newsome Bagwell married Lorena Youra Brown on 24 April 1888 at Cheatham, Tennessee. John Newsome Bagwell died in 1930. He was buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Murfreesboro, Rutherford County, Tennessee.

     Clyde Hubert Bagwell was born on 12 October 1869 in Graves County, Kentucky.¹ He was the son of Samuel Pleasant Bagwell and Wiliana Davenport Goodman. Clyde Hubert Bagwell married Eliza Guthrie circa 1902. Clyde Hubert Bagwell died on 15 March 1940 in Murray, Calloway County, Kentucky, at age 70.¹ He was buried at Murray City Cemetery, Murray, Calloway County, Kentucky.¹

     Eliza Guthrie was born on 26 June 1876.¹ She married Clyde Hubert Bagwell, son of Samuel Pleasant Bagwell and Wiliana Davenport Goodman, circa 1902. Eliza Guthrie was buried at Murray City Cemetery, Murray, Calloway County, Kentucky.¹ She died on 3 December 1932 at age 56.¹

     Myra B. Bagwell was born on 19 September 1904 in Kentucky.¹ She was the daughter of Clyde Hubert Bagwell and Eliza Guthrie.¹ As of 5 June 1928,her married name was Weatherly. Myra B. Bagwell married John R. Weatherly on 5 June 1928 at Murray, Kentucky. Myra B. Bagwell died on 19 February 1983 in Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee, at age 78.¹ She was buried at Murray City Cemetery, Murray, Calloway County, Kentucky.¹

     Elizabeth Bagwell was born on 16 November 1904.¹ She died on 17 December 1980 at age 76.¹ She was buried at Murray City Cemetery, Murray, Calloway County, Kentucky.

     Hattie Goodman Bagwell was born on 13 September 1873 in Montgomery County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Edward Bentley Bagwell and Sarah Jane Lyle. Hattie Goodman Bagwell married Norman Lowe Ussery circa 1893. Hattie Goodman Bagwell died on 17 July 1949 in Montgomery County, Tennessee, at age 75.

     Norman Lowe Ussery was born on 11 March 1873 in Montgomery County, Tennessee. He married Hattie Goodman Bagwell, daughter of Edward Bentley Bagwell and Sarah Jane Lyle, circa 1893. Norman Lowe Ussery died on 27 February 1962 in Montgomery County, Tennessee, at age 88.

     Guy Percival Bagwell was born on 7 February 1875 in Montgomery County, Tennessee. He was the son of Edward Bentley Bagwell and Sarah Jane Lyle. Guy Percival Bagwell married Minnie Manson in 1901. Guy Percival Bagwell died on 24 January 1938 in Daytona Beach, Volusia County, Florida, at age 62. He was buried on 26 January 1938 at Evergreen Cemetery, Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

     Minnie Manson was born on 14 April 1875 in Murfreesboro, Rutherford County, Tennessee. As of 1901,her married name was Bagwell. She married Guy Percival Bagwell, son of Edward Bentley Bagwell and Sarah Jane Lyle, in 1901. Minnie Manson died on 19 December 1928 in Daytona Beach, Florida, at age 53.      Vernon Bagwell was born on 9 February 1878 in Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee, His death certificate has his date of birth as September 2, 1877.¹ He was the son of Edward Bentley Bagwell and Sarah Jane Lyle.¹ Vernon Bagwell married Lillian Irene Eddins circa 1909.² Vernon Bagwell died on 28 May 1936 in Estelline, Hall County, Texas, at age 58.¹ He was buried on 30 May 1936 at Estelline Cemetery, Estelline, Hall County, Texas.¹

     Lillian Irene Eddins was born on 17 October 1887 in Chico, Texas.¹ She married Vernon Bagwell, son of Edward Bentley Bagwell and Sarah Jane Lyle, circa 1909.¹ Lillian Irene Eddins died on 25 December 1973 in Memphis, Hall County, Texas, at age 86 of congestive heart failure.¹ She was buried at Estelline Cemetery, Estelline, Hall County, Texas.¹

     Robert Edward Bagwell was born on 27 May 1909.¹ He was the son of Vernon Bagwell and Lillian Irene Eddins.¹ Robert Edward Bagwell married Vivian Elva Masten on 18 July 1931 at Harmon County, Oklahoma. Robert Edward Bagwell died on 29 May 1968 at age 59.¹ He was buried at Estelline Cemetery, Estelline, Hall County, Texas.
