     Cecil Lee Bagwell was born on 8 June 1931 in Georgia. He was the son of John Lee Bagwell and Magdalene Roberts. Cecil Lee Bagwell married Bobbie Jean Waldrip after 1950. Cecil Lee Bagwell died on 26 November 2005 in Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia, at age 74
Funeral services for Cecil Lee Bagwell were held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2005 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services. Rev. Don Howell and Rev. Mike Dorough conducted the services.

Jill Braswell, pianist, accompanied herself as she sang "Sweet, Sweet Spirit" and "Sheltered In The Arms Of God".

Pallbearers were John Bagwell, Clayton Bagwell, Jeff Whelchel, Brad Speers, Brandon Speers, all grandsons of Mr. Bagwell, and his nephew, Danny Greene. The committal service will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery. The family will greet friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Bagwell, 77, passed away Monday at her residence surrounded by her family. She was a native of Cordele and the daughter of the late Klon A. and Myrtle Wood Waldrip. She was a homemaker and an active member of Pinecrest Baptist Church and the Eunice Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Crisp Regional Hospital Auxiliary.

Mrs. Bagwell is survived by her son and his wife, Terry and Johanna Bagwell of Cordele; two daughters and their husbands, Tina and Steve Whelchel of Cordele and Lisa and Robert Speers of Lawrenceville; seven grandchildren and their spouses, John and Lori Bagwell of Cordele, Clayton and Kimberly Bagwell of Columbia, SC, Andrea and Jonathon Donald of Augusta,Stephanie Whelchel and her fiancee, Woody Kautzman, and Jeff and Caitlin Whelchel, all of Valdosta, and Brad Speers and Brandon Speers, both of Lawrenceville; four great-grandchildren, Lily Anne Bagwell, Sydney Katherine Bagwell, Amelia Louise Donald and James Chancellor Donald; and a brother, Allen Kent Waldrip of Cordele. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Lee Bagwell and siblings, Faustine Waldrip Dorough, Charles "Chick" Lamar Waldrip, Doris Waldrip Dillenger and Klon A. Waldrip, Jr. She was buried at Sunnyside Cemetery, Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia.

     Terry Bagwell is the son of Cecil Lee Bagwell and Bobbie Jean Waldrip. Terry Bagwell married Johanna (?) after 1967.

     Tina Bagwell is the daughter of Cecil Lee Bagwell and Bobbie Jean Waldrip.

     Allen Owen Bagwell was also known as Allen Owen Bagwell. He was born on 11 December 1936 in Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia. He was the son of John Lee Bagwell and Magdalene Roberts. Mr. Bagwell was born in Cordele, Ga. to the late John Lee Bagwell and the late Magalene Roberts Bagwell. He was preceded in death by his son, Allen Bagwell.
He was a dedicated Christian and member of Hatley Baptist Church where he also served as a deacon. Mr. Bagwell was a dedicated farmer and a member of Farm Bureau, and most of all he loved his family.

Mr. Owen is survived by his wife: Sally Ann Bagwell of Cordele; his daughters: Sheila (Sam) Crenshaw and Lorie (Jeff) Presley both of Cordele; his sister: Frances Greene of Cordele; his grandchildren: Jeremy (Kelly) Crenshaw, Clint (Amber) Crenshaw, Grant Pheil and Dallas Pheil; and his great-grandchildren: Tristan Crenshaw, Landon Crenshaw and Creed Crenshaw.
He was buried on 8 July 2018 at Sunnyside Cemetery, Cordele, Crisp County, Georgia.

Funeral services for Allen Owen Bagwell, Jr. will be held at 11a.m., Monday, Sept. 15, 2014 in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m.

Allen, 58, died Saturday afternoon, Sept. 13, 2014 at his residence in Crisp County, Ga. He was a native of Cordele, Ga. He was a member of F.I.S.H. Church in Seville and the Farm Bureau. Allen was a local farmer his entire life. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Mr. & Mrs. J. L. Bagwell and Mr. & Mrs. John M. Coffee.

Allen is survived by his wife: Patricia Jackson Bagwell of Cordele; his parents: Allen Owen Bagwell, Sr. and Sally Ann Coffee Bagwell of Cordele; his sisters: Sheila Bagwell Crenshaw, and her husband Sam, and Lorie Bagwell Presley and her husband, Jeff, all of Cordele; his nephews: Jeremy Crenshaw and his wife, Kelly, Clint Crenshaw and his wife Amber, Grant Pheil and Dallas Pheil all of Cordele; and his great-nephews: Tristan Crenshaw and Landon Crenshaw both of Cordele.

Toy Columbus Bagwell married Catherine Mae Sandlin on 29 August 1926 at Madison, Jefferson County, Alabama. Toy Columbus Bagwell died on 18 May 1964 at age 63. He was buried at Maple Hill Cemetery, Huntsville, Marshall County, Alabama.

     Catherine Mae Sandlin was born on 23 April 1907. As of 29 August 1926,her married name was Bagwell. She married Toy Columbus Bagwell, son of William Cager Bagwell and Mary Edith "Mamie" Cox, on 29 August 1926 at Madison, Jefferson County, Alabama. Catherine Mae Sandlin died on 25 October 1986 at age 79. She was buried at Maple Hill Cemetery, Huntsville, Madison County, Alabama.

     Frances Bagwell was born on 30 December 1933 in Cullman, Alabama. She was the daughter of John Lee Bagwell and Magdalene Roberts. As of after 1955,her married name was Greene. Frances Bagwell married William Thomas Greene after 1955. Frances Bagwell died on 3 February 2024 in Cordele, Georgia, at age 90

Frances B. Greene, age 90, of Cordele, Georgia, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2024, at
the Fellowship Home of Cordelia Manor in Cordele, Georgia. The family will honor Mrs.
Greene’s request to hold a private graveside service.

Mrs. Greene was born on December 30, 1933, in Cullman, Alabama, to the late John Lee
Bagwell and the late Magalene Roberts Bagwell. She was preceded in death by her loving
husband of 64 years: William Thomas Greene; her two brothers: Cecil and Owen Bagwell, her
granddaughter: Angie Greene Castleberry; and a great-grandson: Grady Greene.

Mrs. Greene is survived by her son: Danny (Paula) Greene; her daughter: Gail (Randy) Ellis; her grandchildren: Jason (Denise) Ellis; Blake (Lauren) Greene; and Jarrod (Lilyan) Ellis; and her
great-grandchildren: Bruce and Lana Ellis, Tyler Greene; Will Gourley; Ryleigh, Luke, and Leah
Castleberry; and Patrick and Brandon Ellis.

Mrs. Greene was a dedicated Christian who loved her Lord and was a devoted member of Hatley
Christian Church. She loved her family dearly and demonstrated daily in all her pursuits the
virtues of compassion, generosity, humbleness, exceptional work ethic, courage, and diligence.
She was a co-owner of the Cordele Auto Supply in Cordele, Georgia, for more than 34 years.

Mrs. Greene engaged in interests and hobbies that included travel, interior decorating, cooking,
and sharing candies with family members and friends during the holiday seasons, gardening, and landscaping. Mrs. Greene favored azaleas, camelias, and hydrangeas. Her work ethic and spirit being consistent with Ecclesiastes 9:10, Mrs. Greene worked tirelessly and with all her might in
her yard to maintain it to perfection which brought her and others great joy.

For many years, Mrs. Greene and her husband hosted an Easter Sunrise Service and breakfast at their home and farm which was attended by family, friends, members of the Hatley Community, and their church family. Mrs. Greene was well known for her selflessness, thoughtfulness, and generosity to others.

The family expresses their deepest gratitude to the staff of Atrium Health Navicent (The Medical
Center) in Macon Georgia, the Fellowship Home of Cordelia Manor, and Crisp Regional Hospice for their professionalism, kindness, and the excellent care provided during Mrs. Greene’s final days.

John Blake Bagwell, age 85, of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024. He was preceded in death by parents, John and Rose Lou Bagwell; daughter, Sheri Bagwell Beam; sister, Mary Bagwell Kennedy; and brother, Phillip Bagwell. Mr. Bagwell is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Bonnie L. Bagwell of Buford; son, Stacy Blake Bagwell of Buford; grandchildren, Maggie Cox, Jonas Bagwell, James Bagwell, Joseph Bagwell, Jordan Bagwell; siblings, Miriam Puckett of Buford, Phyllis Stamps of Harwell, GA, Kenneth and Jean Bagwell of Buford, Trent and Gail Bagwell of Buford; sisters-in-law, Ruth Acrey of Cornelia, GA, and Holly Wiley Bagwell of Cleveland, GA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Blake Bagwell was a wonderful God-fearing man. He humbly served God, his country, his community, his church, his family, his friends, strangers, and his jobs. He worked hard at all he did and loved everyone he came in contact with. His work at his employment led to several top salesman of the year awards as well as multiple overseas trips that he was able to enjoy with his beautiful wife. After retirement, he decided he wanted to continue to provide service to others, so he remained employed until the day he started chemotherapy for the leukemia diagnosis he received in 2022. He was passionately dedicated to his church and served on multiple committees, held leadership roles, and joyfully served wherever he was needed. He was always willing to lend his time, money, and talents to anyone that needed it. He loved to make everyone laugh and smile.

Mr. Bagwell was born on September 27, 1938 in Buford, GA and was a 1956 graduate of Buford High School. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, and was a Mason for more than fifty years with the Buford Lodge #292 F&AM. Mr. Bagwell retired from Electrolux after working there for more than thirty-five years. He was a lifetime member of New Prospect Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening and yard work. A Memorial Masonic Service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Stephanie Oden officiating and Joe Kennedy speaking. Inurnment with Military Honors will follow at 3:30 p.m. at New Prospect Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 27 from 12:00 noon until time for the service at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Prospect Methodist Church Food Pantry Fund, 2018 Buford Dam Rd, Buford, GA 30518 in memory of Blake Bagwell.

William Henry Darby died on 2 July 1939 in South Carolina at age 86. He was buried at Oak Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery, Greenville County, South Carolina.

     W. M. Jenkins was born on 16 August 1876. He married Louisa Bagwell, daughter of Joseph Ellis Bagwell and Margaret Nixon, before 1930. W. M. Jenkins died on 10 November 1941 at age 65. He was buried at Dorchester Cemetery, Belton, Anderson County, South Carolina.

     Gloria Jean Hallman was born on 5 June 1941. As of before 1957,her married name was Bagwell.¹ She married George Alan Bagwell, son of Allen Marion Monroe Bagwell and Nora Bell Guganus, before 1957.¹ Gloria Jean Hallman died on 13 December 1994 at age 53. She was buried at Dovertown Cemetery, Dovertown, Walker County, Alabama.

     Amy Bagwell is the daughter of George Alan Bagwell and Gloria Jean Hallman.¹
