     Ida M. Whitson was born on 11 September 1871 in Oakman, Walker County, Alabama.¹ She married George Wiley Bagwell, son of James Wilson Bagwell and Ruth Caroline Kate Collins, in 1890. Ida M. Whitson died on 29 January 1923 in Fairfield, Jefferson County, Alabama, at age 51.¹ She was buried at Day Cemetery, Oakman, Walker County, Alabama.¹

     Margaret Ann "Maggie' Bagwell was born in November 1872 in Dunns, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. She was the daughter of James Wilson Bagwell and Ruth Caroline Kate Collins. As of 1894,her married name was Shepard. Margaret Ann "Maggie' Bagwell married Thomas Shepard in 1894. Margaret Ann "Maggie' Bagwell died on 14 January 1946 in Dorchester, South Carolina, at age 73.

     Emma E. Bagwell was born in June 1875 in Dunns, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. She was the daughter of James Wilson Bagwell and Ruth Caroline Kate Collins. Emma E. Bagwell married Jesse "Miles' Baker on 24 December 1896.

     Jesse "Miles' Baker was born in September 1871 in Alabama. He married Emma E. Bagwell, daughter of James Wilson Bagwell and Ruth Caroline Kate Collins, on 24 December 1896.

     Richard S. Bagwell was also known as Richard David Bagwell. He was born in 1879 in Dunns, Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. He was the son of James Wilson Bagwell and Ruth Caroline Kate Collins. Richard S. Bagwell married Maude Mae Sharpnack before 1908. Richard S. Bagwell died on 24 July 1914 in Berry, Fayette County, Alabama.

     George Alan Bagwell was also known as George Arthur Bagwell. George Alan Bagwell also went by the name of G. A. He was born on 18 January 1936 in McComb, Pike County, Alabama. He was the son of Allen Marion Monroe Bagwell and Nora Bell Guganus.¹ George Alan Bagwell married Gloria Jean Hallman before 1957.¹ George Alan Bagwell died on 15 April 2010 in Jasper, Walker County, Alabama, at age 74. He was buried at Dovertown Cemetery, Dovertown, Walker County, Alabama.

     Bryant Eric Bagwell was also known as Bryan Eric Bagwell. He was born on 9 August 1958. He was the son of George Alan Bagwell and Gloria Jean Hallman. Bryant Eric Bagwell died on 1 April 1979 at age 20. He was buried at Dovertown Cemetery, Dovertown, Walker County, Alabama.

Master Sergeant Jimmy L Bagwell married Shirley McGuff after 1960. He served as a Master Sergeant in the US Army during the Vietnam war. Mr. Bagwell was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was retired from the U.S. Army, in which he served his country proudly for more than 20 years including the Vietnam War.

He was an active member of the American Legion and also a member of the Masonic Lodge. He will be remembered for his service in the community and many acts of kindness. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Sept. 27, 2011, at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011, at Kilgore-Green Chapel. Burial will follow at Hunter's Chapel Cemetery. George Barrera and George Krigbaum will officiate.
