Leona was an active member of Harmony Primitive Baptist Church near Belk,Fayette Co. AL. The upstairs of her home was one big room, built especially for guests of the church association meetings. E.A. was goodprovider and they loved to have company.

     Howard Burton Bagwell was born on 11 October 1910 in Fayette, Fayette County, Alabama. He was the son of Ector Arnith Bagwell and Leona Velma Moore. On 30 May 1930, he served four years for Manslaughter First Degree (Serial Number: 21286). He was sentenced on November 21, 1928 but appealed the sentence. Case finally affirmed on May 16, 1930 and Howard delivered himself to prison on May 30, 1930 to begin his term. He was discharged May 19th, 1934. Howard Burton Bagwell married Sarah Evelyn McEwen on 23 February 1934. Howard Burton Bagwell died on 8 October 1947 in Fayette, Fayette County, Alabama, at age 36 died in a plane crash. He was buried at Fayette City Cemetery, Fayette, Fayette County, Alabama.
