     Infant Bagwell died in January 1900.¹ He was born in January 1900.¹ He was the son of Thomas Robert Bagwell and Annie Cornelia Marler.¹ Infant Bagwell was buried at Sardis Cemetery, Cobb County, Georgia.¹

     Evelyn Ruth Bagwell was born on 22 June 1911.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Robert Bagwell and Annie Cornelia Marler.¹ Evelyn Ruth Bagwell died on 27 May 1912.¹ She was buried at Sardis Cemetery, Cobb County, Georgia.¹

     Lula Mae Bagwell was born on 13 April 1878.¹ She was the daughter of James Madison Bagwell and Elizabeth M. 'Lizzie' Thompson.¹ As of after 1895,her married name was Goss.² Lula Mae Bagwell married Robert L. Goss after 1895.² Lula Mae Bagwell died on 21 March 1942 in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia, at age 63.¹ She was buried at Hollywood Cemetery, Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia.¹

     Robert L. Goss was born on 4 April 1880.¹ He married Lula Mae Bagwell, daughter of James Madison Bagwell and Elizabeth M. 'Lizzie' Thompson, after 1895.¹ He served in the US Army Battalion A, 10th Field Artillery Regiment. Given his date of death, I suspect he died in World War I.

The 10th Field Artillery Regiment was formed at Camp Douglas in 1916. It served in France during World War I, specifically in the Champagne-Marne, St. Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne and Champagne-Marne campaigns. It was bestowed its motto "The Rock's Support" due to its support of the 3rd Division ("The Rock of the Marne") at the Second Battle of the Marne.¹ Robert L. Goss died on 12 April 1918 in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia, at age 38.¹ He was buried at Hollywood Cemetery, Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia.¹

     Montie Hugh Bagwell was born on 12 June 1944 in Brazoria, Texas.¹ He was the son of Hugh Bagwell and Jesse "Jackie" Phea Parson.¹ Montie Hugh Bagwell married Brenda Marie Plentl after 1960.¹ Montie Hugh Bagwell died on 24 June 2017 in Lovelady, Houston County, Texas, at age 73.¹ He was buried at Zion Hill Cemetery, Friday, Trinity County, Texas.¹

     Brenda Marie Plentl was born on 16 October 1943 in Texas.^1,2 As of after 1960,her married name was Bagwell.¹ She married Montie Hugh Bagwell, son of Hugh Bagwell and Jesse "Jackie" Phea Parson, after 1960.¹ Brenda Marie Plentl died on 31 December 2004 in Texas at age 61.^1,2 She was buried at Zion Hill Cemetery, Friday, Trinity County, Texas.²

     Monty Hugh "Butch" Bagwell II was born on 3 July 1969.¹ He was the son of Montie Hugh Bagwell and Brenda Marie Plentl.¹ Monty Hugh "Butch" Bagwell II died on 15 June 1982 at age 12 as a result of a bicycle-automobile accident.¹ He was buried at Zion Hill Cemetery, Friday, Trinity County, Texas.¹

     Kristopher Shane Bagwell was born on 9 September 1965 in Brazoria, Texas.¹ He was the son of Montie Hugh Bagwell and Brenda Marie Plentl.¹ Kristopher Shane Bagwell married Kimberly Jo Gray before 1986. Kristopher Shane Bagwell died on 5 September 2012 in Lufkin, Angelina County, Texas, at age 46.¹ He was buried at Zion Hill Cemetery, Friday, Trinity County, Texas.¹

     Ruth Virginia Bagwell was born on 4 February 1926 in Trinity County, Texas.¹ She was the daughter of Levi Wilburn Bagwell and Evaline Virginia Fussell.¹ As of after 1927,her married name was Baker.² Ruth Virginia Bagwell married Maurice Emmerson Baker after 1927.² Ruth Virginia Bagwell died on 9 September 2010 in Tomball, Harris County, Texas, at age 84.¹ She was buried at Zion Hill Cemetery, Friday, Trinity County, Texas.¹

     Maurice Emmerson Baker was born on 18 October 1910.¹ He married Ruth Virginia Bagwell, daughter of Levi Wilburn Bagwell and Evaline Virginia Fussell, after 1927.¹ Texas P. A.      Vada Bagwell was born on 27 October 1920 in Trinity County, Texas.¹ She was the daughter of Levi Wilburn Bagwell and Evaline Virginia Fussell.¹ As of after 1935,her married name was Klaus.² Vada Bagwell married John T. Klaus after 1935.² Vada Bagwell died on 14 February 2011 in Lufkin, Angelina County, Texas, at age 90
Vada Klaus was a woman beloved by many. She lived most of her life in Flat Prairie, Texas and attended Zion Hill Baptist Church. The church and cemetery sit on land donated by her family, the Bagwells. Vada's childhood home still stands not far from the church, and is over 100 years old.

The sister to 10 others, Vada grew up knowing how to make a simple life great, and how to make a little go a long way.

She married John Tillman Klaus who she loved very dearly, and had three children: John, Joe and David. Her sons married and produced many grandchildren and great-grandchildren for Vada to spoil.

After a few years of living in Houston, the family moved back to Flat Prairie. Vada worked at Groveton Elementary School as a teacher's aid for most of her career and many of the students she worked with remember her fondly.

Vada Klaus was most well known for her legendary smile, warm and kind personality, the job she loved, great cooking, her afternoon Dr Pepper and her fervent devotion to her family and to God. She embodied true Christianity in her every day life, helping others before herself, exhibiting compassion and kindness in all things.

When Vada died, the amount of people who attended her funeral could not all fit in the church. Many stood, some were forced to crowd around the entrance outside straining to hear the pastor speak. People travelled from all over the US, and overseas - as far as Australia - to say goodbye. She will always be missed by those who knew her.

John Tillman Klaus was a descendant of German migrants who moved to the USA in the late 1700s. As a young man, John was devastatingly handsome and his wife, Vada, famously snatched him from the clutches of the wrong woman. They made an attractive couple, married and had three beautiful children together: John, Joe and David (in that order). He served most of his career as a policeman and became Chief of Police in Groveton, Texas.

His brother, Joe Bartee Klaus died in WWII when his plane was shot down over Burma.¹

He was buried at Zion Hill Cemetery, Friday, Trinity County, Texas.¹

     Cora Bell Mcgoughey was born on 13 May 1915.¹ As of after 1932,her married name was Bagwell.¹ She married Leo Bagwell, son of Levi Wilburn Bagwell and Evaline Virginia Fussell, after 1932.¹ Cora Bell Mcgoughey died on 9 May 1946 in T. B. Hospital, Houston, Harris County, Texas, at age 30 of pulomanary Tuberculosis at T. B. Hospital, Houston, Harris County, Texas.¹ She was buried at Zion Hill Cemetery, Friday, Trinity County, Texas.¹

     Esta Ruth Bagwell is the daughter of William Staley Bagwell Jr. and Mary Agnes Tscheulin.¹

     Leda Dawn Bagwell is the daughter of William Staley Bagwell Jr. and Mary Agnes Tscheulin.¹ Leda Dawn Bagwell married (?) Larson after 1965.

     Gregory Bruce Bagwell was born on 29 July 1960 in Denver, Colorado.¹ He was the son of Bobbie Dee "Bob" Bagwell and Jessie M. Green.¹ Gregory Bruce Bagwell died on 27 March 2009 at age 48
Gregory Bruce Bagwell, 48, of Wichita Falls, passed away at home Friday, March 27, 2009, after a courageous battle with pancreatitis.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2009 in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Moye of Western Hills Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

Gregory was born July 29, 1960 in Denver, Colorado. He was a member of Pioneer Drive Baptist Church of Abilene. A true American, he loved his country dearly, and proudly flew the American Flag daily at his home. He enjoyed working with computers, and was a Ham Operator known as "KE5TPN". He never met a stranger, and was always there to help anyone. He will be missed dearly by all that knew him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayland and Estella Bagwell, and Walter and Willie Green.

He is survived by his parents, Bob and Jessie Bagwell of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Sharon Cox and husband Wes of Weatherford, and Lisa Pickett and husband Damon of Wichita Falls; three nieces, Elisha Cox of Irving, Mandi Pickett, and Amber Pickett both of Wichita Falls; and his two faithful companions whom he loved dearly, Sheba and Heidi.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2009 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

     Wanda Nell Bagwell was born in 1939.^1,2 She was the daughter of Harvey Wayland Bagwell and Estella P. Martin.¹ As of after 1955,her married name was Richardson. Wanda Nell Bagwell married Gaylord Richardson after 1955. Wanda Nell Bagwell and Gaylord Richardson were divorced on 15 May 1981 at Denver, Colorado. Wanda Nell Bagwell died in 2002.² She was buried at Chapell Hill Memorial Gardens, Littleton, Arapahoe County, Colorado.²

Sharon Marie Bagwell married David Wesley Cox on 15 July 1980 at Tarrant County, Texas. Sharon Marie Bagwell died on 8 September 2012 in Weatherford, Parker County, Texas, at age 58

Sharon Marie Cox, 58, of Weatherford passed away Monday, October 08, 2012. Sharon was born July 6, 1954 in Denver, Colorado to Jessie Monette and Bob Bagwell.
Mrs. Cox was a legal secretary who worked for Jerry Buckner and others in the Weatherford community. She was a life-long Baptist. She was preceded in death by her father, Bob and brother, Bruce Bagwell.
Survivors include her husband, David W. Cox; daughters, Elisha Rene Cox and Stephanie Marks; step-sons, Robert M. and James A. Cox; mother, Jessie M. Bagwell; sister, Lisa Pickett and husband, Damon; nieces, Mandi and Amber Pickett and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

     Barry Neal Bagwell was born on 16 February 1940 in Atlanta, Georgia.¹ He was the son of Wiley Hixon Bagwell and Annabelle Reid.¹ Barry Neal Bagwell married Rosemary Sanders in 2004. Barry Neal Bagwell died on 10 January 2017 in Elkton, St. Johns County, Florida, at age 76

Barry N. Bagwell, age 76, of Elkton, passed away on January 10, 2017 at Bailey Center for Caring. Born in Atlanta, Georgia and raised in Miami, Florida, he graduated from Miami Jackson High School and then attended Tennessee Temple University where he received his Bachelors in Music with a proficiency in voice. He went on to attend Clarksville School of Theology in Tennessee, where he received his Doctorate of Philosophy in Religion. From 1965-1999, Barry served as a Pastor in various churches throughout the country. Many interests brought happiness to his life, but his two greatest joys were spending time with family and furthering his relationship with his Savior. He spent his last 13 years with the love of his life, Rosemary Sanders-Bagwell, whom he affectionately called “his” Rosie-Mae. He is survived by Rosemary, his daughters, Ashley Fuller, Julie Sanders, Nancy Smith, Debbie Lawrence, 12 grand children and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Annabelle (Reid) and Wiley Bagwell.
