     Lindsay Marie Bagwell is the daughter of Phillip Wayne Bagwell and Gail Ann Eastman.

     Gregory Todd Bagwell is the son of John Clinton Bagwell and Emily Jane Dubose. Gregory Todd Bagwell married Shannon Leigh Parrish on 22 April 1988 at Midland County, Texas. Gregory Todd Bagwell and Shannon Leigh Parrish were divorced on 17 March 1993 at Coleman County, Texas.

     Shannon Leigh Parrish married Gregory Todd Bagwell, son of John Clinton Bagwell and Emily Jane Dubose, on 22 April 1988 at Midland County, Texas. Shannon Leigh Parrish and Gregory Todd Bagwell were divorced on 17 March 1993 at Coleman County, Texas.

     Kenneth Edward Bagwell was born on 1 October 1949 in Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee. He was the son of Finis Edward Dowlen and Margaretta Bagwell. He enlisted in the US Army January 1968and upon completion of Ranger school he served in Vietnam. Kenneth Edward Bagwell married Linda Muriel Thomas on 12 November 1969 at Alexandria, Rapides Parish, Louisiana. Kenneth Edward Bagwell married Kayona Mae Sickles on 29 June 1991 at Jefferson County, Kentucky. Kenneth Edward Bagwell lived in 1994 in Louisville, Kentucky. He died on 11 April 2022 at age 72


Kenneth (Pappy) Bagwell, Sr., age 72 departed from this earthly home on Monday, April 11, 2022. Kenneth was born October 1, 1949, in Montgomery county Clarksville, Tennessee to Margaree Bagwell and Finis Dowlen. He was raised by his grandparents Roy and Armintha Bagwell along with his brother Howard Eugene Bagwell. He was raised in the church and came to know Jesus at an early age as a member of Mt. Herman CME in Hickory Point, TN.
He resided in Clarksville, TN until he graduated from Burt High School in 1967. After enlisting in the military in January of 1968 and upon completion of Ranger school he served in Vietnam. He quickly advanced to his rank as Sergeant in August of 1969. After 4 years of service, he was honorably discharged with accommodations. He returned to the U.S. and settled in Louisiana where he met and married Linda Thomas-Bagwell and started a family. She preceded him in death in 1989. He filled several supervisory positions during his career. Some of his most cherished positions included being a foreman at Austin P, Truck driving, and L.A. Joe's which moved him to Louisville, Ky where he was to meet his late wife Kayona Bagwell. They were married from 1991 until her death in 2018.

Kenneth was a loving, caring, and thoughtful man. As he had so many titles, overall he was a friend to everyone. Always trustworthy, dependable, and forgiving, he would never turn his back on anyone. His doors were always open to anyone in need. He took on the fatherly role to those that didn’t have a father. If he was deemed Daddy or Grandaddy he would happily accept the title and played a vital part in so many lives. He has never met a stranger and you would fall in love as soon as you met him. He would give his last to help and if he didn't have it, he would find a way. He would entice you with his endless stories. He could go on for hours about his past adventures and endeavors. He loved to laugh and put a smile on your face. He would tell jokes or one of his crazy stories and make it hard not to feel joy in his presence. His joyful heart and boisterous laughter were sure to brighten anyone's day. He was known by many names, Kenneth, Kenny, Kent, Ken, Pappy, Daddy, and Granddaddy, but his favorite was Big Daddy Pap which would insist was his title. He loved watching his Tennessee Volunteers and would tease anybody whose team would lose, especially when it came to the Cardinals or the Wildcats. He enjoyed a homecooked meal and loved to sneak in porkchop when no one was looking. He was preceded in death by Kayona Bagwell, Margaree Bagwell, Finis Dowlen, Roy and Armintha Bagwell, Howard Eugene Bagwell, Linda Thomas-Bagwell, and Adrian (AJ) Sickles Jr.

The family was the most important to him. After he retired from Hil-Rom at U of L and Jewish hospital he spent the majority of his time taking care of his wife and family. He loved spending time with and around his children and grandchildren. He was a frequent attendee at his grandchildren's sporting events or anything they had going on. Kenneth has left an impact on everyone he’s ever met. While we lay his body to rest his spirit will never die.

Kenneth leaves to cherish his memories his children, Kenneth (KB) Bagwell Jr., Troy Bagwell, Adrian Sickles Sr., Kevin (Nikki) Sickles, Anthony Bagwell, Cheryl Bagwell, and Myra Maddox; 32 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville) on Monday, April 18, 2022 from 4:00PM - 8:00PM, with additional visiting hours on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, from 9:00AM - 11:00AM, service to begin at 11:00AM. Interment will take place on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at 11:00AM at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (7931 McCrory Ln, Nashville, TN 37221).

He was buried on 20 April 2022 at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee.

     Linda Muriel Thomas was born on 27 December 1951 in Louisiana. She married Kenneth Edward Bagwell, son of Finis Edward Dowlen and Margaretta Bagwell, on 12 November 1969 at Alexandria, Rapides Parish, Louisiana. As of before 1987,her married name was Bagwell. Linda Muriel Thomas died on 10 October 1989 in Harris County, Texas, at age 37. She was buried at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Alexandria, Rapides Parish, Louisiana.

     Cheryl Lynn Bagwell is the daughter of Kenneth Edward Bagwell and Linda Muriel Thomas. Cheryl Lynn Bagwell married Ricky Thomas after 2008.

     Troy La Mon Bagwell is the son of Kenneth Edward Bagwell and Linda Muriel Thomas. Troy La Mon Bagwell married April (?) after 1990.

     Teresa Lyn Bagwell is the daughter of Tony Arvin Bagwell and Betty Mae Rogers.

     Ginger Gaye Capps married Paul Wesley Bagwell, son of Beal Doyle Bagwell and Lahoma June Russell, on 26 June 1965. Ginger Gaye Capps and Paul Wesley Bagwell were divorced on 6 April 1982 at Potter County, Texas. Ginger Gaye Capps married James C. Stephens on 1 April 1983 at Potter County, Texas.

     Misty Lynn Bagwell is the daughter of Guy Nolan Bagwell and Bonnie Fae Baugh. Misty Lynn Bagwell married Ronnie Dean Phillips after 1990.

     Kathy Renae Bagwell is the daughter of Russell Jennings Bagwell and Lindia Lee Harris. Kathy Renae Bagwell married Billy Harris after 1987.

     Jansen Carey Bagwell is the son of James Alton Bagwell and Linda Kay Cantrell.

     Camille Nicole Bagwell is the daughter of Barry Donald Bagwell and Sharon Cecilia Hightower. Camille Nicole Bagwell married Gerald M. Lashley on 18 December 1997 at Harris County, Texas. Camille Nicole Bagwell and Gerald M. Lashley were divorced on 17 July 2002 at Harris County, Texas. Camille Nicole Bagwell married Casey T. Leadbeater on 28 September 2010 at Harris County, Texas.

     Bridgett Bagwell is the daughter of Woodrow Lattin Bagwell Sr. and Maureen Pleasant.

     Charlotte Gayle Reeves married Terry Bruce "Bruce" Bagwell, son of Buford Melvin Bagwell and Betty Ray Brown, before 1972.

     Anthony Lamarque Bagwell is the son of Kenneth Edward Bagwell and Linda Muriel Thomas.

     Clay Michael Bagwell is the son of Paul Michael Bales and Sandra Yvonne Bagwell.

     Timothy John Bagwell is the son of Timothy Tyrone Bagwell and Sharon Lynne Polley.
