     Joseph Henry McCall was born on 9 October 1874 in Alabama. He married Sarah Indiana Bagwell, daughter of Henry Clay Harrison Bagwell and Emma Ophelia Blackstock, in 1897. Mr. James Keith Bagwell, age 33, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011. He was born February 5, 1978 in Lithia Springs, Georgia the son of Mrs. Dale Alice Doggett Anderson and the late Mr. Danny Edward Bagwell. He worked as a self employed handy man. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Dale and Jeff Anderson of Villa Rica; stepsister, Stephanie Goodrich of Mableton; stepbrother, Joshua Brownlee of Mableton; aunts and uncles, Ken Doggett of Rutledge, Randy Bagwell of Douglasville, Wandel and Cindy Bragg of Douglasville, Patti Doggett of Rome, and Barry Anderson of Villa Rica; several cousins also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 2:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Marbut officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The following will serve as pallbearers: Allen Rains, Alan Presnal, Christopher Bragg, Wandel Bragg, Tommy Abercrombie, Donald Ray Kirby, Barry Anderson and Avery Brooks.      Betty Joeanna Bagwell was also known as Bettye Joeanna Bagwell. She was born on 8 October 1922 in Montgomery County, Tennessee.¹ She was the daughter of Richard Bagwell and Lizzie O'Neal. As of after 1940,her married name was Paxton. Betty Joeanna Bagwell married Bryant H. Paxton after 1940. Betty Joeanna Bagwell died on 7 November 1974 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, at age 52.¹ She was buried at Cave Springs Cemetery, Hopkinsville, Christian County, Kentucky.¹

     Lizzie O'Neal was born on 5 July 1906 in Tennessee. As of before 1920,her married name was Bagwell. She married Richard Bagwell, son of Watt Bagwell and Ellen (?), before 1920. As of before 1950,her married name was Keesee. Lizzie O'Neal married Elige Keesee before 1950. Lizzie O'Neal died on 16 December 1984 in Christian County, Kentucky, at age 78. She was buried at Green Hill Memorial Gardens, Hopkinsville, Christian County, Kentucky.

     Bryant H. Paxton married Betty Joeanna Bagwell, daughter of Richard Bagwell and Lizzie O'Neal, after 1940.

     Lott G. Whiting married Elizabeth Bernice Bagwell, daughter of Reverend Charles Edward Bagwell and Emma P. Betty Barton, on 23 December 1972 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Lott G. Whiting and Elizabeth Bernice Bagwell were divorced on 1 July 1983 at Harris County, Texas.

     Elige Keesee was also known as Eilijah Keesee. He was born on 5 February 1905 in Auburn, Tennessee. He married Lizzie O'Neal before 1950. Elige Keesee died on 24 December 1981 in Tennessee at age 76. He was buried at Green Hill Memorial Gardens, Hopkinsville, Christian County, Kentucky.

     Brian Christopher Bagwell was born on 22 March 1984 in Hopkinsville, Christian County, Kentucky. He was the son of Phillip White and Brenda L. Bagwell. Brian Christopher Bagwell died on 6 June 2001 in Hopkinsville, Christian County, Kentucky, at age 17. He was buried at Cave Springs Cemetery, Hopkinsville, Christian County, Kentucky;


Services for Brian Christopher Bagwell, 17, Hawthorne Drive, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Virginia Street Baptist Church, with the Rev. M.O. Fort officiating. Burial will follow in Cave Spring Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Gamble Funeral Home.

He died at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday of injuries sustained during an accidental shooting at his Evergreen Park residence.

A native of Hopkinsville, he was born March 22, 1984. He was the son of Phillip White, Hopkinsville, and Brenda Bagwell Usher, Charlotte, N.C., and stepson of Terruan Usher, Hopkinsville. He was a student at Hopkinsville High School and a member of Virginia Street Baptist Church.

Survivors, in addition to his parents, include a sister, Dianna Bagwell, Hopkinsville; a paternal grandmother, Beatrice White, Hopkinsville; a maternal grandmother, Mary Bagwell, Hopkinsville.

     Brenda L. Bagwell is the daughter of Isaac Bagwell and Mary Louise “Mu/Yee” Harris. Brenda L. Bagwell married Terruan L. Usher on 6 August 1993 at Christian County, Kentucky.
