John Lawrence Bagwell died on 12 May 1950 in Anderson County, South Carolina, at age 5.¹ He was buried at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Pickens, Pickens County, South Carolina.¹

     Larry A. Bagwell was born in 1946 in Pickens County, South Carolina. He was the son of John Willie Bagwell and Gladys Edens (?) Larry A. Bagwell died on 21 December 1959 in Anderson County, South Carolina.

     Guy Quitman Bagwell was born on 26 April 1920.¹ He was the son of George Adolphus Bagwell and Emma Jane Pace.¹ Guy Quitman Bagwell died on 24 December 1922 in Pickens, Pickens County, South Carolina, at age 2.¹ He was buried at Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery, Liberty, Pickens County, South Carolina.¹

     Mary Nell Bagwell was born circa 1922 in South Carolina. She was the daughter of George Adolphus Bagwell and Emma Jane Pace. Her married name was Tant. Mary Nell Bagwell married Ernest E. Tant. Mary Nell Bagwell died on 8 June 2004 in Florence, Florence County, South Carolina.

     Ernest E. Tant was born on 28 September 1915. He married Mary Nell Bagwell, daughter of George Adolphus Bagwell and Emma Jane Pace. Ernest E. Tant died on 12 May 1991 at age 75.

     Timothy M. Bagwell was born on 22 February 1957 in Columbia, South Carolina.¹ He was the son of Reverend Winfred Levi Gaffney Bagwell and Julia Inez Lyerly.¹ Timothy M. Bagwell married Kim Jones after 1973.² Timothy M. Bagwell died on 24 October 2009 at age 52 Timothy M. Bagwell, 52, of 805 Tenth Street, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at Carolina's Medical Center.

Born in Columbia, he was the husband of Kim Jones Bagwell and the son of the late Rev. Winfred Bagwell and Julia Lyerly Bagwell.

He was a graduate of Gaffney High School and Limestone College, and a retired Human Resource Manager at Brookview Healthcare.

Bagwell was a member of Temple Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon, past chairman of Deacons, Treasurer, Trustee and was involved in many other church activities. Tim was also known as an excellent chef, serving as chief cook for his family.

In addition to his wife, also surviving are two sons, Timothy Tyler Bagwell and Jordan Tyler Bagwell, both of the home; two daughters, Holly Bagwell Morris and husband Brock, of Gaffney, and Morgan Elizabeth Bagwell, of the home; a grandson, Lucas Carter Morris; and a special brother-in-law, Robert Jones of Gaffney.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Ron Bagwell.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27 at Temple Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3 p.m. at the church with the Revs. Scott Kierstead and Lane Carter officiating.

Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Temple Baptist Church, Music Department. 1508 Cherokee Avenue, Gaffney, SC, 29340.

     Norman Willie Bagwell was born on 4 February 1941 in Pickens County, South Carolina. He was the son of Sethie Joe Calvin Bagwell and Mary Louise Swords. Norman Willie Bagwell died on 21 September 1998 in Easley, Pickens County, South Carolina, at age 57

Son of Sethie J. & Mary Louise Swords Revis Bagwell; husband of Judy Carolyn Redding Bagwell.

He was a former Liberty Police Chief and a retired lieutenant with the Easley Police Department; member of Liberty Masonic Lodge 235, Calumet Baptist Church and the Adult 2 Sunday School class.

Survived by his wife; a son and daughter-in-law; a stepson and his wife; four brothers and a sister; two half brothers and a half sister.

Predeceased by a sister, Ellen Bagwell Moore; and a half brother, James Revis.

Ernest Wayne Bagwell, age 74, loving husband of Iris King Bagwell, passed away from this life on Thursday January 20, 2022, at Pruitt Health nursing and rehabilitation center.

A native of Pickens County, Ernest was born on May 27, 1947, to the late Sethie Joe Calvin and Mary Louise Swords Bagwell. Mr. Bagwell was a member of United Wesleyan Church in Easley.

In addition to his wife Iris, Mr. Bagwell is survived by his children; Sherri Lynn Helton (Tim) of Central, Ronnie Bagwell (Angela) of Liberty, Chris Bagwell (Marilyn) of Greenwood, and Stephen Bagwell (Rebecca) of Williamston, a stepson; William Kirk Nix of Central, 5 grandchildren; James, Tyler, Tessa, Chelsi, and Madi, 2 great grandchildren; Bentley, and Calum, 1 sister; Sue Burgess of Liberty, and 3 brothers; Joe Bagwell (Nancy) of Liberty, Clyde Bagwell (Judy) of Easley, and Larry Bagwell (Susan) of Liberty.

Mr. Bagwell was predeceased by his parents, his daughter; Connie Bagwell, 2 sisters, and 4 brothers.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday January 25, 2022, at Abbott Cemetery in Liberty starting at 2:00 pm officiated by the Reverend Tim Jones.

She was buried on 12 December 2021 at Liberty Memorial Gardens, Liberty, Pickens County, South Carolina.

     Edwin Randolph Bagwell is the son of Luther Edwin Bagwell and Ruby Chapman.¹ Edwin Randolph Bagwell married Deborah Jean Owens on 25 June 1972 at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, Greenville, South Carolina.

     Reverend George Bennett Bagwell is the son of Luther Edwin Bagwell and Ruby Chapman.¹ Reverend George Bennett Bagwell married Beth (?) after 1965.

     Stephen Mark Bagwell is the son of Luther Edwin Bagwell and Ruby Chapman.¹ Stephen Mark Bagwell married Terri Lynn McCall on 1 February 1977.

     Harrison Bagwell is the son of George Adolphus Bagwell and Emma Jane Pace.

     Margaret Jane Phillips was born on 3 December 1901 in Tennessee. As of after 1915,her married name was Bagwell. She married Ernest Monroe Bagwell, son of Calvin Lynch Bagwell and Margaret Melissa Lesley, after 1915.

     Charles Edward Bagwell was born on 28 July 1920 in Pickens County, South Carolina. He was the son of Ernest Monroe Bagwell and Margaret Jane Phillips. He enlisted in the US Army on 19 October 1942 during World War II. Charles Edward Bagwell married Ona Bell Seigle after 1946. Charles Edward Bagwell died on 10 July 1994 in Greenville, Greenville County, South Carolina, at age 73. He was buried at Corinth Baptist Church #1 Cemetery, Anderson County, South Carolina.

     Melvin Kansas "Ben" Corum was born on 12 February 1899 in Springton, Polk County, Tennessee.¹ In 1940 US Federal Census, he is shown in the Doolittle, Murray County, Georgia as married to Mae Coram (born about 1906) and he was born in Tennessee. His Social Security registration (410-18-3358) said that he lived in Ellijay, Gilmer County, Georgia, was born 12 Feb 1899 and the SSN was issues in Tennesssee. There is a World War I registration that showed in 1918 he lived in Murray County, Georgia. He married Flora May Bagwell, daughter of Charles Henry Bagwell and Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Gribble, on 15 September 1918 at Maryville, Blount County, Tennessee. Melvin Kansas "Ben" Corum died on 6 November 1966 in Gilmer, Georgia, at age 67.¹ He was buried at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Elijay, Gilmer County, Georgia.¹
