A native of Spartanburg County, he was the husband of Francis Will Bagwell and son of the late William H. and Mabel Bagwell. He was retired from Jefferson Pilot Life Insurance Company and a member of Boiling Springs First Baptist Church.

Also surviving are a daughter, Sandra Chapman of Boiling Springs; a foster daughter, Leisa Ann Long of Spartanburg; two sons, Jami and Robbie Bagwell of the home; four sisters, Nellie B. Condrey, Violet B. Ivey and Mary B. McCarter of Inman and Lois B. Reece of Greeneville; a brother, Gerald Bagwell of Inman; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one foster grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 7-9 tonight at Forest Lawn Mortuary in Boiling Springs. Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Boiling Springs First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Springhill Memorial Gardens in Chesnee.

Sarah Francis Wall died on 10 September 2015 at age 91 Mrs. Sarah Frances Wall Bagwell, 91, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2015.

A native of Spartanburg County, she was the loving daughter of Walter and Ethel Compton Wall and the wife of the late Thurman W. Bagwell.

She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church, where she was a former Sunday school teacher and was retired as a weaver from Inman and Arcadia Mills after over 32 years of service. She also had worked as a Daycare worker. She enjoyed baking, was an avid gardener and loved children. Strong in her faith, she was a straight forward person who was devoted to her family.

Survivors include three children, Sandra Chapman (Bobby) of Boiling Springs, James Bagwell of Spartanburg and Robert Bagwell of Chesnee; six grandchildren, Wayne Chapman (Sherry), Cindie Fletcher (Danny), Bobby Chapman, Jr., Sheila Bagwell, Rochelle, Bagwell and Mark Bagwell; four great-grandchildren, Kelly Chapman; Michael Fletcher, Brianna Fletcher and Hunter Bagwell and a great great-grandchild, Holden Knighten.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers and a sister.

A funeral service will be held at 4 pm, Sept. 13th at Eggers Funeral Home and Crematory of Chesnee with Pastor Tyler Kirby officiating. Interment will be held at 11 am, Sept. 14th in Springhill Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Bob Beuhl. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:30 to 4 pm at the funeral home before the service and at other times her daughters residence.

Pallbearers will be Chad Franklin, Wayne Chapman, Bryan Barrett, Mark Bagwell, Dustin Franklin and Brandon Franklin

Memorials may be directed to the Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 686 Jeff Davis Dr., Spartanburg, SC.1

Mrs. Chapman is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Chapman, Sr; two sons, Robert Wayne Chapman (Sherry), Robert J. Chapman, Jr; one daughter, Cindie Michele Fletcher (Danny) of Boiling Springs; two brothers, James Bagwell, and Robert Bagwell both of Chesnee; grandchildren, Michael Fletcher, Kelly Chapman, Brianna Fletcher; two step-grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, Roger Dale Staten, Jr. and James Eric Staten.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 7, 2017 from 7:00 until 9:00 at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 11:00am at Good Shepherd Memorial Park with Rev. Bob Buhl to officiate.

She is survived by six sons, Joe Condrey and wife Helon, Tommy Condrey and wife April, Billy Condrey and wife Martha, Dean Condrey, Mike Condrey and wife Gloria, Eddie Condrey; two sisters, May Lou Wilson, Violet Ivy; one brother, Gerald R. Bagwell; 10 grandchildren, Tammie Burrell and husband Billy, Mark Condrey, Danny Condrey, Scott Condrey, Stacy Condrey and wife Lori, Mandy Condrey, Chris Condrey and wife Marissa, Jeremy Condrey and wife Heather, Chad Condrey and Kelli Condrey; and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson, Ray Condrey.

Funeral services were held Thursday, May 19th, 2005 at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, South Carolina, with Rev. Michael Owenby officiating. Burial followed in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.1

Mary was the daughter of W. H. (Buddy) Bagwell and Maybelle (Johnson) Bagwell of Inman. She was raised in the Church of God and was a Christian.

Throughout the course of her working life she was an employee of Raycord, Inc. and Lyman Finishing Co., managed the business office of McCarter Paint Contracting for 15 years, owned and operated Mary's Dark Skin Den, and was a registered caregiver for Interim Healthcare.

She served her community as a Notary Public and a Red Cross volunteer.

She loved animals, her favorite hobby was reading, but her passion was her love for her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a wife, a mother, a grandmother and a great grandmother who showered her family with love and support; never judgmental always supportive.

She is survived by her husband and soulmate David R. Wilson Sr, her loving and devoted Peek-A-Poo Chloe, her stepsons David R Wilson Jr and Christopher Wilson, her loving daughters Lu Ann McCarter-Drake and Rhonda McCarter- Cullen, her son-in-law Patrick J Cullen, her grandchildren Jeremy Drake, Lianna Suddreth and Chaz Suddreth, her great grandchildren Tobias Hawkins, Lorenzo Henderson, Destiny, Caleb, Keira, Mikayla and Iris Suddreth, her brother Gerald Bagwell and sister Violet Ivey.

She was adored by all who knew her and will live in their hearts for eternity.

Graveside services were held Friday, September 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Roselawn Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Al Phillips.1
