Survivors include three daughters, Susan Lollis Merritt of Easley, Vicki Lollis Major of Aiken, and Tammie Lollis Mitchell of Edgemoor; one son, Jerry Lollis, of Simpsonville; one sister, Juanita L. Entrekin, of Ocala, Fla; sister-in-law, Helen Bagwell, of Easley; nine grandchildren, Lance Lollis, Stephanie Brown, Corrie Beth Martin, Matthew Merritt, Jennifer Merritt, Blake Mitchell, Evan Mitchell, Timmy Major and Grant Major; and two great-grandchildren, Aiyanna Lollis and Bryson Martin.
Mrs. Lollis was predeceased by one son, Chuck Lollis; one sister, Blanch B. Hendrix; and two brothers, L. Lafayette Bagwell and George Albert Bagwell Jr.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, Dec. 16, 2001, at 4 p.m. at Dillard Memorial Funeral Home, with visitation immediately following.

Mrs. Bagwell was born in Greenville County, a daughter of the late John Nathaniel and Mamie Estelle Hendricks Rice. She was retired from Easley Textiles, was a member of Geer Memorial Baptist Church and attended Tabor United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Lane Short (John) of Easley and her son, Danny (Bo) Bagwell (Gail) of Easley. Grandchildren include, LaSonya Bagwell, Brad Short (Tiffany), Kerri McKinney (David), and Steven Brown and great grandchildren, Sarah Katherine Short, Addison Short, Landan McKinney, and Sadie McKinney.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bagwell was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Joyce Brown.

A homemaker, she was a 60-year member of First Baptist Church of Greenville where she was a member of the Loyalty Sunday School Class, taught children's Sunday School for many years, and was a member of the Exchangettes.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, B. B. Ashley; three sons and daughters-in-law, B. B. "Bernum" and Jean Ashley Jr. of Inman, Monroe M. and Roberta Ashley of Brevard, N.C., and Louis and B. J. Ashley of Greenville; two sisters, Ruth Tolly of Williamston, S.C., and Bea Hudgens of Florence; a brother, Martin Bagwell of Williamston; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services were held Sunday, July 7, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Greenville with Dr. Baxter Wynn officiating. Burial followed in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Carolyn Gaillard Bagwell, 88, of 705 Welcome Road, widow of Martin Monroe Bagwell, died Monday, Aug. 2, 2004, at her home.

Born in Piercetown, Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Walter DuPre and Anna Wilson Gaillard. She was an elementary school teacher, and taught most of her forty years in School District 1 of Anderson County. She was a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church, where she taught the Young Adult Women's Sunday School Class for over twenty years, and was a former active member of the WMU and the choir.

Surviving are a daughter, Mary Ann Bagwell, of Williamston; daughters and sons-in-law, Jane and Grover Owings, of Powdersville, Debbie and Woody Thrasher, of Anderson; grandchildren, Nicole and Lee Lawless, Dana and Chris Holt, Zach Thrasher, Jake Thrasher; and great-grandchildren, Tyler and Lauren Smart, Walker Lawless and Nick Holt.

She was predeceased by sisters, Mae Griffith, Geneva Owen, Ettie Stone; and brothers, Lawrence Gaillard, Palmer Gaillard and Walter Gaillard.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Beaverdam Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Jimmie Farmer and the Rev. Gene Burdette. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

The family is at the home, and will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the church, prior to the service.

Mary Ellen Winslett Bagwell, lifelong resident of Easley, born on November 29, 1932, was the daughter of the late Horace Winslett and Katherine Ballentine Winslett. She passed away at home on May 24, 2016 after a long and valiant battle with lung cancer.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 48 years, Bobby Joe Bagwell, in 2000. Also predeceasing her were two sisters, Helen W. Lynes and Eme W. Smith, and two brothers, Horace Lee Winslett, Jr. and Walter "Pop" Almon Winslett.

She leaves to cherish her memories her son, John Walter Bagwell of Mauldin, SC; daughter, Ellen Ethridge and son-in-law, Tim Ethridge of Easley; two precious grandchildren, Mary Magill and Cole Ethridge. Also surviving are two sisters, Catherine W. Brown of Easley and Dora H. Twiford (Doc) of Concord, NC, and a brother Jimmy Winslett (Jo Ann) of Easley; sisters-in-law, Lorna Winslett, Evelyn B. McEntyre (Mac), and Nancy G. Bagwell (Charles - deceased); brother-in-law, Larry D. Bagwell (Lunita).

     Charles Furman Bagwell was born on 20 January 1934. He was the son of Ora Bruce Bagwell and Lillie Maude Owens. Charles Furman Bagwell married Nancy Ann Greer after 1951. Charles Furman Bagwell died on 25 November 2006 in Lexington, South Carolina, at age 72

GREENWOOD — Charles Furman Bagwell, husband of Nancy Bagwell, of 25 Royal Oak Drive, formally of Easley, passed away November 25, 2006, in Lexington, SC.

Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late Bruce Bagwell and Maude Owens Bagwell. Mr. Bagwell was a graduate of Clemson University with a B.S. Degree, graduate of Executive Development of USC, he was formally a Vice President of Kent Manufacturing in Pickens, former member of the board of Pickens County Country Club, member of Easley Lions Club, 30 year member of Easley First United Methodist Church and currently a member of Main Street United Methodist Church in Greenwood.

Surviving in addition to his wife are daughter, Maria Bagwell Ellison of Lexington; son, Joseph Bagwell and wife, Sharon Hughes, of Greenwood; sister, Evelyn McEnytre of Easley; brother, Larry Bagwell of Easley; five grandchildren, Megan Bagwell, Anna Greer Bagwell, Adrienne Bagwell, Timothy Joseph Scott, Charles Daniel Scott.

A brother, Bobby Bagwell predeceased him.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2006, at Easley First United Methodist Church with the Reverend Jim Corell officiating.

A reception will follow at the church fellowship hall.

The family is at the home of Larry Bagwell, 505 Laurel Road, Easley, SC.
