Entrekin, of Ocala, Fla; sister-in-law, Helen Bagwell, of Easley; nine grandchildren, Lance Lollis, Stephanie Brown, Corrie Beth Martin, Matthew Merritt, Jennifer Merritt, Blake Mitchell, Evan Mitchell, Timmy Major and Grant Major; and two great-grandchildren, Aiyanna Lollis and Bryson Martin.

Services were held Sunday, July 7, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Greenville with Dr. Baxter Wynn officiating. Burial followed in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Carolyn Gaillard Bagwell, 88, of 705 Welcome Road, widow of Martin Monroe Bagwell, died Monday, Aug. 2, 2004, at her home.
Born in Piercetown, Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Walter DuPre and Anna Wilson Gaillard. She was an elementary school teacher, and taught most of her forty years in School District 1 of Anderson County. She was a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church, where she taught the Young Adult Women's Sunday School Class for over twenty years, and was a former active member of the WMU and the choir.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Ann Bagwell, of Williamston; daughters and sons-in-law, Jane and Grover Owings, of Powdersville, Debbie and Woody Thrasher, of Anderson; grandchildren, Nicole and Lee Lawless, Dana and Chris Holt, Zach Thrasher, Jake Thrasher; and great-grandchildren, Tyler and Lauren Smart, Walker Lawless and Nick Holt.
She was predeceased by sisters, Mae Griffith, Geneva Owen, Ettie Stone; and brothers, Lawrence Gaillard, Palmer Gaillard and Walter Gaillard.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Beaverdam Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Jimmie Farmer and the Rev. Gene Burdette. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
The family is at the home, and will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the church, prior to the service.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 48 years, Bobby Joe Bagwell, in 2000. Also predeceasing her were two sisters, Helen W. Lynes and Eme W. Smith, and two brothers, Horace Lee Winslett, Jr. and Walter "Pop" Almon Winslett.
She leaves to cherish her memories her son, John Walter Bagwell of Mauldin, SC; daughter, Ellen Ethridge and son-in-law, Tim Ethridge of Easley; two precious grandchildren, Mary Magill and Cole Ethridge. Mr. Larry Dean "Coach" Bagwell, 84, husband of Lunita Garrett "Lu" Bagwell, went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, September 17, 2021.
Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Ola Bruce Bagwell and the late Lillie Maude Owens Bagwell, Mr. Bagwell was a 1955 graduate of Easley High School where he excelled in football being both quarterback and lineman. He later received his Master's degree from Clemson University where he played baseball and participated in the College World Series two years in a row. His college baseball career lead him to play semi-pro ball for the Washington Senators in the Florida State League.
Mr. Bagwell coached football at Easley High School from 1967 to 1992 where he lead the Green Waves to two State Championships. Not only was he inducted to the Easley High School Hall of fame, he was also inducted into the South Carolina Coaches Hall of Fame. His coaching accomplishments and leadership lead him to receive many awards, and having a gym and ball field named in his honor.
Mr. Bagwell served as Councilman for the City of Easley for three decades and Mayor from 2008 to 2019. During his term, Mayor Bagwell worked closely with city council and city employees on revitalizing the downtown area, including the West End District and developing the Doodle Trail. In his last term, Mayor Bagwell was awarded the Order of the Palmetto for his service and leadership to Easley.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of sixty-four years, are his two daughters, Terri Bagwell Knight and Lou Anne Bagwell Johnson (Joe), both of Easley; His sister, Evelyn B. McEntyre (Verlon) of Easley; four grandchildren, Kasi Wilson (Charlie), Michael Dillon Knight, Jessica Johnson and Jeremy Johnson (Faith); four great-grandchildren, Garrett Wilson, Cayden Ballard, Cooper Wilson and Clark Wilson; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved pet, Bella. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bagwell was predeceased by two brothers, Bobby Bagwell and Charles Bagwell.
Memorial services will be 1:00 PM Monday, September 20, 2021 at Easley First United Methodist Church. Private entombment will take place in the Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum.
