James Elam Bagwell passed away September 18, 2021 at his residence at the age of 78. He was born November 6, 1942 in Monroe County to the late Margaret Stanford Bagwell and James William Bagwell. He was an appliance technician and worked at West Point TV and Appliance since 1976.

He is survived by his wife, Kay Bagwell of West Point; sons, William Bagwell (Vickie) and Rodney Bagwell (Jessica) both of West Point; daughters, Karen Coggins (David) of West Point, Rebecca Plunkett (Shasta) of Mathiston; sister-in-law, Gail Bagwell of West Point; 10 grandchildren, Jessica Clardy (Austin), Matthew Bagwell, Madison Bagwell, Taylor Bagwell, Dakota Bagwell, James Carter Bagwell, Hannah Golson, Evan Golson, Reagan Plunkett, Harley Kate Plunkett; 1 great grandchild, Coleson Clardy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, James Robert Bagwell

Funeral services will be 3 PM Monday September 20, 2021 at Robinson Chapel with Rev. Dale Funderburg officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Bagwell, Keith Bagwell, Evan Golson, Scofield White, Trans Spraggins, Shasta Plunkett. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Ron Powell, Dr. Andrzej Wartak, staff at NMMC and NMMC Hospice.

James Robert Bagwell married Rossie Gail (?) on 7 July 1967 at Monroe County, Mississippi. James Robert Bagwell died on 1 October 2013 in West Point, Clay County, Mississippi, at age 66


James Robert Bagwell, 66, passed away, on October 1, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point. He was born June 7, 1947, in Monroe County, MS, the son of the late: James William Bagwell and Margaret Stanford Bagwell McGraw. He was a member of First Baptist Church in West Point. He was a meat cutter at Bryan Foods in West Point, retiring after 40 years. He married Gail Baugh Bagwell on July 7, 1967, in Monroe County. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Step-Father: Mr. Jim Ed McGraw; Brother: Enith Bagwell, and 2 Sisters: Pauline B. Duke and Mattie Lee Easter.
Funeral services will be Friday, October 4, 2013, at 10:00 A.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Donald Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery in Monroe County.
Survivors include Wife: Gail Bagwell of West Point; One Daughter, Shelby D. Montgomery (Jason) of New Albany; Two Sons, Keith Bagwell of West Point and Johnny Hancock (Whitney) of Monroe County; Three Grandchildren: Charles D. Bryan, Casey D. Bryan, and Taylor N. Bryan and Four Great Grandchildren; and One Brother James E. Bagwell (Kay) of West Point.
Pallbearers will be Roy Thompson, William Bagwell, Greg Fretz, Charles Bryan, Quince Stewart, and Jason Montgomery.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Thomas and Nancy Porter, Tommy Simmons, Cecil Pew, Beverly Freshour, Barton Ferry Hunting Club Members, and the Darracott Country Club Members.

     Jean Marie Dupuy married James Robert Bagwell, son of Rodger Earl Bagwell and Grace Joy George, on 27 November 1971 at Pulaski County, Arkansas.

     Lois Geraldine Felker was born on 22 November 1924. As of 5 May 1945,her married name was Bagwell. She married Corporal George Robert Bagwell, son of Marion Newton Bagwell and Mary Etta Bearden, on 5 May 1945 at Greenville, South Carolina. Lois Geraldine Felker died on 5 April 2004 at age 79. She was buried at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Greenville, Greenville County, South Carolina.

     William Clarke Cunningham was born in 1915. He married Mary Lucile Bagwell, daughter of Allen Murphy Bagwell and Annie Lee Thompson, after 1933. William Clarke Cunningham died in 1993.

     Zearly K. Kelly Jr. was born in 1926. He married Annie Grace Bagwell, daughter of Allen Murphy Bagwell and Annie Lee Thompson, on 6 August 1946 at Mauldin, South Carolina. Zearly K. Kelly Jr. died in 1982.

     Rejeana Sue Bagwell is the daughter of William King Bagwell Jr. and Edith Earline Miller. Rejeana Sue Bagwell married Thomas Allen George in 1966 at Albuqerque, New Mexico.

     Frances Florene Bagwell was born on 14 November 1946 in Texas. She was the daughter of Raymond Floyd Bagwell and Irene Cornelia Wilson. As of circa 1992,her married name was King. Frances Florene Bagwell married Fredrick King circa 1992. Frances Florene Bagwell died on 18 August 2020 at age 73


Frances Florene Bagwell King, 73, of Statesville died Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at the Gordon Hospice House.
She was born in Amarillo, Texas on November 14, 1946 to the late Raymond Floyd Bagwell and Irene Wilson Bagwell.
Frances was retired as a Dental Assistant. She was very much a people person and enjoyed visiting with old friends and talking on the phone. She loved to read, sew, knit and needlework of all kinds. She especially loved spending time with and talking to her grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 28 years, Fredrick King, a son, Daryl Brantley (Tiffany), a step-son, Kenneth Ray King (Kendra), a step-daughter, Kimberly Ehasz (Ty), a sister, Ophelia Gregory (Robert) and 4 grandchildren, Tyler, Andrew, Camelia and Kaden.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Nicholson Funeral Home Chapel. The service will be live streamed on the funeral home website.

     Cordelia Duran was born on 10 September 1926. As of after 1990,her married name was Bagwell. She married William King Bagwell Jr., son of William King Bagwell and Bessie Jane Farley, after 1990. Cordelia Duran died on 30 March 2019 at age 92.

     Thomas Allen George married Rejeana Sue Bagwell, daughter of William King Bagwell Jr. and Edith Earline Miller, in 1966 at Albuqerque, New Mexico.

     Lejuna Mae Bagwell is the daughter of William King Bagwell Jr. and Edith Earline Miller. Lejuna Mae Bagwell married David Don Dart in 1968.
