     Geraldine B. Bagwell was born on 24 October 1936 in Boswell, Baxter County, Arkansas.1 She was the daughter of Gerald Cecil Bagwell and Ruby Lavinia Smith.1 As of 28 November 1952,her married name was Mason.1 Geraldine B. Bagwell married Clifford J. Mason on 28 November 1952 at Bald Knob, Arkansas.1 Geraldine B. Bagwell died on 30 November 2021 at age 85


Geraldine "Gerri" Mason, 85 years old, passed from this life on November 30, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her loving spouse, Clifford James Mason; her parents, Gerald Cecil and Ruby Bagwell; and her brother, Elmer "Duke" Bagwell.

Those left to cherish her memory are one son, three daughters, one sister, and 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, Arkansas, on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at 11:00am.

Graveside ceremonies will be private, family only.

Gerri was an excellent cook and homemaker for her husband and four children. She made sure the children were always dressed and ready for church, often, in handmade clothes, as she was an accomplished seamstress.

Her eldest daughter has a fond memory of her first Bible that her mother purchased for her with pasted Quality Stamps.

Making the move from Arkansas to Memphis in the late 60's, Gerri devoted her time to raising her children and maintaining a beautiful home.

She was a long-time member of East Frayser Church of Christ, and later Quail Ridge Church of Christ.

She and her late husband, Clifford Mason, celebrated over 50 years of marriage before his passing in 2012.

Gerri loved her sister Lucy dearly and talked to her weekly. She will always be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.


She was buried on 7 December 2021 at White County Memorial Gardens, Searcy, White County, Arkansas.

Loretta enjoyed going on camping trips: back to her child hood home at the Ozarks in Arkansas every year, RV camping and the Humming Bird Festival in Rockport, Yellowstone, and Galveston Reefs. She loved spending time with her family, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She was awarded secretary of the year at U of H Clearlake. Playing bridge and rook with friends was one of her favorite things to do. Loretta enjoyed picking strawberries and figs to make preserves, sewing, oil painting, and cooking and serving fabulous meals. She loved to go to baseball games and gospel quartet concerts with her husband, Paul.

Most of all Loretta was a woman of strong faith who loved to serve the Lord Jesus Christ and attending church with her family.

She was a loving soul who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

James William (Bill) Bagwell, 52, died at his home on Bruce, Miss., Route 1, last Thursday. A veteran of World War 11, he had been in poor health for a number of years. Born in Calhoun County, Miss. March 30, 1912, he had spent his entire life in this section.
He was a member of the Baptist Church, the V F W and American Legion. He was a retired farmer.
Services were held at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church at 2:30 Friday with Rev. John Couch and Rev. E. D. Bollinger officiating. Burial was in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, near Bruce, Miss., Calhoun County with Cook Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Purvis Bagwell, Charlie Bagwell, Edwin Bagwell, Elmo Smith, Wade Bryant and James Kindall.

Edward Earl Bagwell Sr., 64, of Ripley, Tenn., dies Saturday, January 7, 1995 at Baptist Memorial Hospital--Ripley, Tenn. A member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Batlett, Tenn., he was born December 5, 1930, in Calhoun County, Miss., the son of Willis Early and Ester Hazel Robertson Bagwell. He was in construction.
Funeral service was Monday at 11 a.m. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James West and Rev. Jimmy Sockwell officiating. Burial was in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, near Bruce, Miss., Calhoun County, Miss.

ADDINGTON, 72, of Arlington, retired boiler operator, died Saturday at Methodist Hospital North. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel with burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near there. Mr. Addington, the husband of Geneva Addington, also leaves a daughter, Joan Addington of Seattle; four brothers, Leland Addington of Grenada, Miss., Norwood Addington of Rolling Fork, Miss., Elton Addington of Oxford, Miss., and J. She is survived by husband Robert James (Bob) Lawrence, son Bruce (Mary) Reavis of Duluth, GA , daughter-in-law Jeanine Reavis of Jackson, GA, granddaughters Sandra (Mickey) Stephens, Sherrilon (Don) Brooks, Scarlett (Kyle) Mack, Savannah Reavis, 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was blessed to welcome a bonus family at the age of 86 and is also survived by step-children, John (Scarlet) Lawrence, Judy (Jeff) Bohler, Jason Lawrence, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, Fayetteville, GA and the Eastern Stars. She was a woman of many talents including truck-driving, sewing and drawing.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at College Park Cemetery, College Park.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 28, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Tara Garden Chapel with interment at College Park Cemetery.1
