     Kathleen Bagwell was born on 27 February 1910 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Andrew Bagwell and Pearly Ester Byrd. Kathleen Bagwell died in 1911 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia.¹ She was buried at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery, Rome, Floyd County, Georgia.¹

     Lenora Lucille Bagwell was born on 22 July 1911 in Gadsden, Alabama. She was the daughter of Joseph Andrew Bagwell and Pearly Ester Byrd. As of 15 February 1930,her married name was Lindsey. Lenora Lucille Bagwell married Joseph Elvie Lindsey on 15 February 1930 at Rome, Floyd County, Georgia. Lenora Lucille Bagwell died on 23 October 1995 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia, at age 84
Mrs. Lenora Lucille Lindsey, 84, 800 N. Fifth Ave., Apt. 513 Rome, died Monday, October 23, 1995 in a Rome medical center following an extended illness.

She was born in Gadsden, AL on July 22, 1911, a daughter of the late Andrew Bagwell and Pearl Byrd Bagwell. Mrs. Lindsey had lived most of her life in Rome and Floyd County where she was a homemaker and a member of the Oak Hill Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Elvie Lindsey on July 29, 1963 and a son, Charles (Ray) Lindsey on June 1, 1992.

Survivors include two daughters; Mrs. Elvadean (Dean) Richey and Mrs. Ellen Cowan both of Rome; three sons; William (Bill) Lindsey and Lawrence (Larry) Lindsey both of Rome and Carl (Corky) Lindsey, Aurora, Colorado; 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25 in the Oak Hill Church of Christ with Ministers Alvis Miller and David O'Connell officiating. Interment followed in East View Cemetery.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.

     Marie Bagwell was born on 30 December 1924 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Andrew Bagwell and Pearly Ester Byrd. Marie Bagwell died in 1925 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia.¹ She was buried at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery, Rome, Floyd County, Georgia.¹

     Harry Bagwell was born on 30 December 1924 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia.¹ He was the son of Joseph Andrew Bagwell and Pearly Ester Byrd. Harry Bagwell died in 1933 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia, of accidental drowning in the Etowah River.¹ He was buried at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery, Rome, Floyd County, Georgia.¹

     Joseph Elvie Lindsey was born on 10 April 1910 in Cullman, Cullman County, Alabama. He married Lenora Lucille Bagwell, daughter of Joseph Andrew Bagwell and Pearly Ester Byrd, on 15 February 1930 at Rome, Floyd County, Georgia. Joseph Elvie Lindsey died on 29 July 1963 in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, at age 53. He was buried at East View Cemetery, Rome, Floyd County, Georgia.

     Leona H. Bagwell was born in April 1890 in Georgia. She was the daughter of Samuel David Bagwell and Catherine Langley. As of before 1907,her married name was Byrd. Leona H. Bagwell married William Alexander Byrd before 1907. Leona H. Bagwell died on 21 January 1974 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia, at age 83.

     William Alexander Byrd was born on 23 July 1878 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia. He married Leona H. Bagwell, daughter of Samuel David Bagwell and Catherine Langley, before 1907. William Alexander Byrd died on 4 December 1926 in Rome, Floyd County, Georgia, at age 48.

Hoyt Edward Bagwell, 70, of Pelzer, husband of Carolyn Grant Bagwell, died Wednesday, August 8, 2007.
Born in Pelzer, he was a son of the late W. F., Sr., and Emma Richardson Bagwell of Pelzer. He retired from Southeastern Freight Lines and was an active member of White Plains Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and church clerk.
In addition to his wife of 47 years, he is survived by daughter, Cherri Smith; son, Eddie Bagwell; six grandchildren, Candace, Rick, Levi and Forrest Smith, Bryce and Drew Bagwell; and great-grandchildren, Blaze, Jada, and Zoey. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, Wade and Bobbie Bagwell of Greenville, and Lonnie and Jean Bagwell of Anderson; sisters, Gladys Spearman of Piedmont, and Sybil Williams of Anderson; a brother-in-law, O. T. Harrison of Williamston; and sisters-in-law, Kathryn Bagwell and Edna Bagwell, both of Pelzer, and Nancy Bagwell of Piedmont.
He was predeceased by brothers, William F. Bagwell, Jr., Carl Bagwell, and Ellis Bagwell, Sr; and sisters, Edith B. Harrison and Ruth Bagwell.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Friday, August 10, 2007, at White Plains Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Spearman officiating. Music will be provided by Jeanie Thomas. Burial will follow in White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to White Plains Baptist Church, 1435 Easley Highway, Pelzer, SC 29669 or to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
The family extends their gratitude and heartfelt thanks to the staff and doctors of the Cancer Center of the Carolinas in Greenville and to the staff of Hospice of the Upstate in Anderson.

     Queen Victoria Riggins was also known as Queen Victoria Alford.¹ She was born on 14 October 1852 in Pike County, Georgia.¹ As of before 1873,her married name was Bagwell. She married Blakley B. Bagwell Jr., son of Blakley Bagwell and Nancy Riggins, before 1873. Queen Victoria Riggins died on 10 August 1908 in Pike County, Georgia, at age 55.¹ She was buried at Riggins Bagwell Cemetery, Molena, Pike County, Georgia.¹

     Beulah Belle Bagwell was born on 2 March 1873 in Georgia. She was the daughter of Blakley B. Bagwell Jr. and Queen Victoria Riggins. As of before 1891,her married name was Strickland. Beulah Belle Bagwell married Charles A. Strickland before 1891. Beulah Belle Bagwell died on 10 February 1953 in Spalding, Georgia, at age 79. She was buried at Old Hebron Cemetery, Concord, Pike County, Georgia.

     Woodrow Lattin Bagwell Sr. was born on 26 February 1920 in Texas. He was the son of William Smith Bagwell and Izora Sylvia Lattin. He served as Private First Class (Service #: 285676) in the United States Marine Corps. He was in the Guam Marines in Insular Patrol and was a Prisoner of War during World War II.
