     Maisie Lucille Horton was born on 12 October 1921 in Lancaster, North Carolina.¹ As of after 1935,her married name was Bagwell.¹ She married Joseph Pinckney Bagwell Jr., son of Joseph Pinckney Bagwell and Anna Cebelle Timmerman, after 1935.¹ Maisie Lucille Horton died on 21 October 1997 in Presbyterian Hospital, Charlotte, North Carolina, at age 76.¹ She was buried on 23 October 1997 at Forest Hills Cemetery, Rock Hill, York County, North Carolina.

     Carol Louise Bagwell was born on 6 August 1938 in Fort Mill, York County, South Carolina.¹ She was the daughter of James Thomas Bagwell and Eva Gertrude Fuller.¹ As of after 1949,her married name was Adkins.² Carol Louise Bagwell married James Howard Adkins after 1949.² Carol Louise Bagwell died on 27 February 2011 in Rock Hill, York County, South Carolina, at age 72 Obit: Published in The Herald from February 28 to March 2, 2011.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at Unity Cemetery in Fort Mill, with the Rev. Jerry Devinney officiating.

A native of Fort Mill, Mrs. Adkins was the daughter of the late James Thomas Bagwell and the late Eva Gertrude Fuller Bagwell. She was retired from Springs Industries with over 25 years of service and was the widow of James H. Adkins Jr. Also preceding her in death were her brothers, Clarence R. Bagwell and James L. Bagwell.

Surviving are her son, Larry K. Adkins and his wife, Lechel, of Rock Hill; her daughter, Sandra A. Toney and her husband, John, of Catawba; her brothers, Jack N. Bagwell of Rock Hill, Tommy Bagwell of Louisiana and D. Paul Bagwell of Fort Mill; her sisters, Doris B. Moss and Pauline B. Hicks, both of Lancaster and Linda B. Gooler of Rock Hill; and five grandchildren, Michael and Cameron Toney and Aften, Brett and Christa Adkins.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill and other times at the home of her son, 5166 South Fork Road, Rock Hill.¹ She was buried at Unity Cemetery, Fort Mill, York County, South Carolina.¹

     James Howard Adkins was born on 5 August 1933.¹ He married Carol Louise Bagwell, daughter of James Thomas Bagwell and Eva Gertrude Fuller, after 1949.¹ James Howard Adkins died on 19 June 1994 at age 60.¹ He was buried at Unity Cemetery, Fort Mill, York County, South Carolina.¹

     Donna Joy Barnes married William Norman Watkins, son of William (Bill) Thomas Watkins and Nettie Jean Jinright, before 1981.¹

     Dana Joy Watkins is the daughter of William Norman Watkins and Donna Joy Barnes.¹ Dana Joy Watkins married Jason Barry circa 2000.¹

     Sarah Bessie Bagwell was born in 1902. She was the daughter of Thomas Willard Bagwell and Fannie M.

     Mary Ethel Bagwell was born on 23 January 1909.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Willard Bagwell and Fannie M. Mary Ethel Bagwell died on 12 June 1996 at age 87.¹ She was buried at Wofford Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery, White, Bartow County, Georgia.¹

     Thomas Robert Bagwell was born on 28 July 1911 in Georgia.¹ He was the son of Thomas Willard Bagwell and Fannie M.¹ Thomas Robert Bagwell married Willie M. Coker after 1930.² Thomas Robert Bagwell died on 13 July 1982 in Fulton County, Georgia, at age 70. Robert worked for the railroad as a conductor. He was living in DeKalb County, Georgia at the time of his death in Fulton County, Georgia.¹ He was buried at Wofford Crossroads Baptist Church, White, Fulton County, Georgia.¹

     Willie M. Coker was born on 12 April 1917.¹ As of after 1930,her married name was Bagwell.¹ She married Thomas Robert Bagwell, son of Thomas Willard Bagwell and Fannie M., after 1930.¹ Willie M. Coker died on 17 October 1990 at age 73.¹ She was buried at Wofford Crossroads Baptist Church, White, Fulton County, Georgia.¹

     William Lafayette Vaughan was born on 7 October 1876 in Cartersville, Bartow County, Georgia.¹ He married Cora R. Bagwell, daughter of John Murry Bagwell and Sarah E. Brannen, on 16 December 1899 at Bartow County, Georgia. William Lafayette Vaughan died on 20 May 1931 in Cartersville, Bartow County, Georgia, at age 54.¹ He was buried at Pine Log Cemetery, Rydal, Bartow County, Georgia.¹

     Andrew Jackson Jones was born on 26 June 1879 in Calhoun County, Alabama. He married April Bagwell, daughter of John Murry Bagwell and Sarah E. Brannen, after 1890. Andrew Jackson Jones died on 12 February 1953 in Piedmont, Calhoun County, Alabama, at age 73.

Margaret Linda Ledbetter died on 13 November 1997 in Cumming, Forsyth County, Georgia, at age 86. She was buried at New Harmony Baptist Cemetery, Cumming, Forsyth County, Georgia.

     Berry William Bagwell Jr. was also known as Bill Bagwell. Berry William Bagwell Jr. was also known as Barry William Bagwell Jr. He was born on 24 July 1933 in Georgia. He was the son of Berry William Bagwell and Margaret Linda Ledbetter. Berry William Bagwell Jr. died on 9 February 1950 in Stephens, Georgia, at age 16. He was buried at New Harmony Baptist Cemetery, Cumming, Forsyth County, Georgia.

     Dorothy Ann Bagwell is the daughter of Berry William Bagwell and Margaret Linda Ledbetter. Dorothy Ann Bagwell married (?) Anglin after 1953.

     Mary Grace Bagwell was born on 3 April 1939 in Georgia.¹ She was the daughter of Berry William Bagwell and Margaret Linda Ledbetter. As of April 1959,her married name was Curtis. Mary Grace Bagwell married Weldon Lamar Curtis in April 1959 at Georgia. Mary Grace Bagwell died on 12 January 2009 in Georgia at age 69.¹ She was buried at Arbor Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Union Hill, Cherokee County, Georgia.¹

     Alfred Sampson Holbrook was born on 10 December 1889 in Forsyth County, Georgia.¹ He married Bessie Louise Bagwell, daughter of William R. Bagwell and Sarah A. Purcell, after 1910.¹ Alfred Sampson Holbrook died on 5 July 1965 in Georgia at age 75.¹ He was buried at Holbrook Campground Cemetery, Holbrook, Cherokee County, Georgia.¹
