Barbara was a student at UT and then married and graduated from Ohio State cum laude. She received her master's degree from University of Tennessee and she did her thesis on Patricia Neal which is at the UT Library.
She is survived by her sister, Marlene Moore and husband, Jim; nephew, Dr. Rick Moore and wife, Dr. Mary Helen P. Moore; niece, Melissa Moore Warshaw and husband, Jay; great nephews, Joseph Moore, Steven James, and Andrew Clark Warshaw; great nieces, Ashley Kate Moore and Caroline Elizabeth Warshaw; special friends, Irene Brittle and Cleta Phillips Adams. A special thanks is extended to the Windwood Nursing Home staff.
