     Frederick Harold “Fred, Freddy” Bagwell was born on 3 July 1958 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Bobby Ray Bagwell and Virginia Carol "Vivky or Nanny" Schaffner Schaffner. Frederick Harold “Fred, Freddy” Bagwell died on 31 March 2005 in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama, at age 46. He was cremated.

     Julia Ann Dick was born in 1835 in St. Clair County, Alabama. As of before 1850,her married name was Fox. She married Thomas J. Fox before 1850. Julia Ann Dick died in Jefferson County, Illinois.

     Jerusha Harkness was born in 1858 in Arkansas. As of after 1880,her married name was Fox. She married Thomas J. Fox after 1880. Jerusha Harkness died on 31 October 1885 in Pike County, Arkansas.

     James Fox was born in 1851 in Mississippi. He was the son of Thomas J. Fox and Julia Ann Dick.

     Nancy Fox was born circa 1854 in Mississippi. She was the daughter of Thomas J. Fox and Julia Ann Dick.

     William David Fox was born in April 1857 in Choctaw County, Mississippi. He was the son of Thomas J. Fox and Julia Ann Dick. William David Fox died in 1917 in Delta County, Texas.

     Alexander Fox was born circa 1860 in Mississippi. He was the son of Thomas J. Fox and Julia Ann Dick.

     Jackson Fox was born circa 1867 in Illinois. He was the son of Thomas J. Fox and Julia Ann Dick.

     Columbus Fox was born in 1869 in Jefferson County, Illinois, CB Fox was victim of a hunting accident when he dropped a pistol he was hunting with and it discharged. He died the next day. The accident occured a few miles above Amity.

     Buddy William “Butch” Bagwell was born on 17 June 1937 in Charleston, Franklin County, Arkansas. He was the son of Justin Buddy Bagwell and Bessie Marie Durham. Buddy William “Butch” Bagwell married Linda Sue Morgan after 1955. Buddy William “Butch” Bagwell died on 11 February 2018 in Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas, at age 80


Buddy William Bagwell (Butch), 80, of Fort Smith, passed from this life February 11, 2018 in Fort Smith. He was born, June 17, 1937, in Charleston to the late Justin Buddy and Bessie Durham Bagwell. Buddy was a fun loving, outgoing, happy person. He was loved by all that knew him and was considered to be a gift from God by those who were close to him. All of the women inhis life will miss his special ‘winks’. Buddy taught people to smile, through his beautiful smile, and to be strong no matter what was to be.

Buddy is survived by his wife of 44 years, Linda Morgan Bagwell; his sister, Alice Harper of Alma; a brother, Dale Bagwell and his wife Peggy of Blue Springs, Missouri; a niece, Amanda Bagwell of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; and nephew, Adam Bagwell of St. Louis, Missouri; as well as three sisters-in-law, Mary and Betty Morgan, both of Muldrow and Nancy Cramm of Bella Vista, Arkansas.

Graveside services will be 1:30pm Friday, February 16, 2018 at Garden of Memories in Charleston. Viewing will be from 12:00pm to 7:00pm Wednesday, February 14 and from 8:00am to 5:00pm Thursday, February 15 at Edwards Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

     Skylyn Marie Bagwell is the daughter of Joshua Heath Bagwell.

     Caroline (?) married Dale Edward Bagwell, son of Joe Edward Bagwell and Nancy Smith, before 1981.

     Delores George was born on 7 July 1940 in Rockford, Winnebago County, Illinois. As of 15 May 1969,her married name was Bagwell. She married Wallace Delano Bagwell, son of Lewis Daniel Bagwell and Ockrey Lenor Horne, on 15 May 1969. Delores George died on 25 October 2014 in Rockford, Winnebago County, Illinois, at age 74. She was buried at New Milford Cemetery, New Milford Cemetery, Winnebago County, Illinois.

     Jeanette Shackelford married Wallace Delano Bagwell, son of Lewis Daniel Bagwell and Ockrey Lenor Horne, on 29 April 2006.

     Lynn Bagwell is the daughter of Wallace Delano Bagwell and Darlene Sharon Hansey. Lynn Bagwell married Roy Gregersen after 1987.

     Christina Bagwell is the daughter of Wallace Delano Bagwell and Delores George. Christina Bagwell married Jeff Foster after 1987.

     Lisa Bagwell is the daughter of Wallace Delano Bagwell and Delores George.¹

     Roy Gregersen married Lynn Bagwell, daughter of Wallace Delano Bagwell and Darlene Sharon Hansey, after 1987.

     Malcolm Delano Bagwell was born on 21 October 1941 in Fort Gaines, Georgia. He was the son of William Oscar Bagwell and Sallie Van Roberson. Malcolm Delano Bagwell married Donna Maria Miller circa 1964. Malcolm Delano Bagwell and Donna Maria Miller were divorced in September 1969 at Orange County, Florida. Malcolm Delano Bagwell married Barbara L. Hamilton after 1970. Malcolm Delano Bagwell died on 2 February 2025 in Hamilton, Georgia, at age 83


Malcolm Delano Bagwell, known affectionately as "Mac" to his friends and loved ones, passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 83 in Hamilton, Georgia. Born on October 21, 1941, in Fort Gaines, Georgia, Mac was a man of integrity, warmth, and a deep sense of duty, which he carried with him throughout his life.

Mac was predeceased by his beloved wife, Barbara Bagwell, his cherished grandson Johnny "Spud" Robertson, Jr., his father William Oscar Bagwell, his mother Sally Roberson Bagwell, and his brothers Middleton, William, and Frank Bagwell. He is survived by his loving daughter Kathie Drexler and her husband Tim, three grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and his brother John Bagwell. He is also survived by his stepson Johnny Robertson (Jeannette) and a host of relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

Mac proudly served his country in the United States Army, a period of his life he often reminisced about with pride and a twinkle in his eye. After his military service, he dedicated ten years as the director at Harris County Water Works, where he was known for his leadership and commitment to excellence. Following his retirement, Mac's passion for building and creating led him to work alongside his niece, Vicki Bush, constructing homes for another decade, leaving a tangible legacy in the community he loved.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mac's life was rich with interests and activities that brought joy to him and those around him. His dog, Miss B., was a constant companion and source of unconditional love. Mac's passion for the outdoors was evident in his love for horses, raising cows, and tending to his farm. He was an integral part of the Harris County Rodeo, not only participating but also contributing to its success.

A man of faith, Mac served as a member and board member of Weems Road Freewill Baptist Church, where he found spiritual solace and fellowship. His commitment to his church community was unwavering, and his presence will be profoundly missed.

Mac's adventurous spirit shone brightly when he spoke of his travels. He had a gift for storytelling, often captivating his listeners with tales of the places he'd seen and the experiences he'd had, especially those from his time in the Army. His love for adventure was also shared with the younger generation when he worked with teens traveling with adventure groups, instilling in them the values of courage, resilience, and exploration.

A graveside service will be held Monday, February 10, 2025 at 11:00 am ET at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Alabama.

     Henry Frank Bagwell was born on 19 December 1946 in Fort Gaines, Georgia. He was the son of William Oscar Bagwell and Sallie Van Roberson. Henry Frank Bagwell married Mary Joyce Roberts after 1965.¹ Henry Frank Bagwell died on 21 August 2024 in Fort Gaines, Georgia, at age 77


Henry Frank "Frankie" Bagwell, 77, of Fort Gaines, GA, passed away on Wednesday, August 21st, 2024. He was born on Thursday, December 19th, 1946 in Ft. Gaines, Georgia to the late William Oscar Bagwell and Sally V Bagwell.

Frankie was the beloved father of Dawn Anglin (Scott), Hank Bagwell, and Matt Bagwell. He was also a loving father-in-law to Katie Bagwell. He adored his grandchildren, Katlain Anglin (Nick), Kimberly Ashmore (Trent), Shelby Bagwell, Kayla Anglin, and Trace Bagwell. Frankie is also survived by his brothers, Malcom Bagwell and John Calvin Bagwell. He will also be greatly missed by his fur baby, Elsie.

Frankie was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Clay Bagwell, his spouse, Mary Joyce Bagwell, and by brothers, Middleton Bagwell and William Bagwell.

Frankie served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. After returning, Frankie spent his career in law enforcement. In most recent years, he served as the Chief Deputy Sheriff for Clay County, Georgia until his retirement. Frankie was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

There will be a visitation at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home on Sunday, August 25th, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church on Monday, August 26th, 2024 at 10:00 am, officiated by Rev. George Hartley. Interment will follow at NewPark Cemetery in Ft. Gaines, Ga.

Trent Ashmore, Nick Harmon, Sonnie Wallace, Ted Bell, James Davis and Locke Shivers will be serving as pallbearers. Law enforcement officers will serve as honorary pallbearers in honor of Frankie's service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a local law enforcement charity in Frankie's memory. He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and community.


He was buried on 26 August 2024 at NewPark Cemetery, Fort Gaines, Georgia.
