Jones.¹ As of 1 October 1877,her married name was Yates. Mary Francis Bagwell married John Wesley Yates on 1 October 1877 at Jackson County, Illinois. Mary Francis Bagwell died on 26 February 1921 in Centralia, Marion County, Illinois, at age 63. She was buried at Herrin City Cemetery, Herrin, Williamson County, Illinois.

Armenta (Araminta) Bagwell married Charles Paulsen.¹ Armenta (Araminta) Bagwell died on 12 August 1942 in Saint Louis, Missouri, at age 86.¹

Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Bagwill who reside at 1107 North Sherman Street, in this city, will quietly observe their Golden Wedding Anniversary at their home Thursday of this week, July 28. Mr. and Mrs. Bagwill were married July 28, 1888, at Murphysboro, Jackson County, Illinois, and came to Texas and to Collin County in 1891, three years later.

They have lived in McKinney and near this city since. This well-known and respected couple are receiving the congratulations of a host of friends on the observance of their fiftieth wedding anniversary, who wish them many more years of happy wedded life.

Mr. and Mrs. Bagwill are the parents of four children: Editor A. A. Bagwill of Plano, Editor and owner of the Plano Star-Courier and the Frisco Journal; Mrs. Harold Reinhardt of Mineral Wells; Mrs. R. O. Melton of the Cottage Hill community and Don W. Bagwill, City Editor of these papers.

Mrs. Bagwill is a sister of Postmaster Walter B. Wilson and of J. B. Wilson, rental agent, of this city.

     Michael Anderson Killion was born on 1 June 1832 in Washington, Indiana. He married Martha Gilley Ann Bagwell, daughter of Burrell Bagwell and Gillia Cole, on 14 March 1852 at Jackson County, Illinois.¹ Enlisted as a 1st Lieutenant in the United States Army on 9 September 1862 (during the Civil War). Promoted to Full Captain on 3 Jun 1863.
Enlisted in Company C New, 18th Infantry Regiment Illinois on 24 Jun 1863. Resigned Company C New, 18th Infantry Regiment Illinois on 4 Apr 1865. Michael Anderson Killion married Louisa Odom on 16 March 1865 at Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. Michael was a Captain with the 18th IL Infantry and spent his time in AR during the Civil War. Michael, being a devious devil, married Louisa while still married to his first wife, Martha (Gilly) Ann Bagwell Killion, who resided in Jackson County, IL, and who he left in September 1862 to enlist with the Union Army.

     William George Pierce married Martha Gilley Ann Bagwell, daughter of Burrell Bagwell and Gillia Cole, on 3 March 1873 at Jackson County, Illinois.¹

     William B. Killion was born circa 1857 in Jackson County, Illinois.¹ He was the son of Michael Anderson Killion and Martha Gilley Ann Bagwell.¹ William B. Killion died before 1925.¹

     Lewis Killion was born circa 1860 in Jackson County, Illinois.¹ He was the son of Michael Anderson Killion and Martha Gilley Ann Bagwell.¹ Lewis Killion died before July 1897 in Perry County, Illinois.¹

     James Henry Killion was born on 22 May 1861 in Sato, Jackson County, Illinois.¹ He was the son of Michael Anderson Killion and Martha Gilley Ann Bagwell.¹ James Henry Killion married Sarah Jane Howe on 30 August 1890 at Jackson County, Illinois. James Henry Killion died on 3 February 1937 in Willisville, Illinois, at age 75.¹ He was buried at Percy Village Cemetery, Percy, Randolph County, Illinois.

     Sarah Jane Howe was born on 24 June 1872 in Pennsylvania. As of 30 August 1890,her married name was Killion. She married James Henry Killion, son of Michael Anderson Killion and Martha Gilley Ann Bagwell, on 30 August 1890 at Jackson County, Illinois.

     Mark Anderson Killion was born on 22 March 1892. He was the son of James Henry Killion and Sarah Jane Howe. Mark Anderson Killion died on 14 August 1925 at age 33.

     Loniver Montgomery (McGomery) Killion was born on 21 February 1891 in Sato, Jackson County, Illinois. He was the son of James Henry Killion and Sarah Jane Howe. Loniver Montgomery (McGomery) Killion died on 17 September 1912 in Herrin, Williamson County, Illinois, at age 21 of Appendicitis..

She was born on 4 December 1868 in Campbell Hill, Jackson County, Illinois.^1,2 She was the daughter of James Henry Bagwell and Mary Jane Brown.^1,2 Her married name was Rodgers.¹ Madeline Julie Bagwell married William Claude Rogers on 22 May 1890 at Jackson County, Illinois.¹ Madeline Julie Bagwell died on 13 February 1951 in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas, at age 82. She was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery, Belleville, St. Clair County, Illinois.

     William Claude Rogers was born on 11 October 1868 in Campbell Hill, Jackson County, Illinois. He married Madeline Julie Bagwell, daughter of James Henry Bagwell and Mary Jane Brown, on 22 May 1890 at Jackson County, Illinois.¹ William Claude Rogers died on 6 June 1921 in East Saint Louis, St. Clair County, Illinois, at age 52.
