     Carrie Lee Parish Bagwell was born on 14 March 1875 in Missouri. She was the daughter of William Henry Bagwell and Isabelle Parish. As of 29 August 1897,her married name was Creason. Carrie Lee Parish Bagwell married Leonard Lee Creason Sr. on 29 August 1897 at Sullivan County, Missouri. Carrie Lee Parish Bagwell died on 1 January 1931 in Los Angeles, California, at age 55.

     Leonard Lee Creason Sr. was born on 16 November 1871 in Sullivan County, Missouri. He married Carrie Lee Parish Bagwell, daughter of William Henry Bagwell and Isabelle Parish, on 29 August 1897 at Sullivan County, Missouri. Leonard Lee Creason Sr. died on 17 November 1934 at age 63.

     Richard Joseph Sezbenski married Belinda Jane Bagwell, daughter of Blaine Greentown Bagwell and Bonnie Grace Redinbaugh, on 28 June 1991 at Kokomo, Indiana.

     (?) Jaenicke married Beth Ann Bagwell, daughter of Blaine Greentown Bagwell and Bonnie Grace Redinbaugh, after 1960.

     Lisa (?) married Bart Bagwell, son of Blaine Greentown Bagwell and Bonnie Grace Redinbaugh, after 1960.

     Fannie O'Shield was born on 4 July 1897. As of 9 August 1926,her married name was Bagwell. She married Jesse Andrew Bagwell, son of James William Bagwell and Lula Lamb, on 9 August 1926 at Woodruff County, Arkansas. Fannie O'Shield died on 26 September 1987 at age 90. She was buried at Augusta Memorial Park, Augusta, Woodruff County, Arkansas.

     Rena Bagwell was born on 14 June 1935. She was the daughter of Jesse Andrew Bagwell and Fannie O'Shield. As of after 1950,her married name was Morgan. Rena Bagwell married Donald Eugene Morgan after 1950. Rena Bagwell died on 9 December 2003 at age 68. She was buried at Augusta Memorial Park, Augusta, Woodruff County, Arkansas.

     Donald Eugene Morgan was born on 31 March 1931. He served as a TSGT in the US Air Force during Korean War. He married Rena Bagwell, daughter of Jesse Andrew Bagwell and Fannie O'Shield, after 1950. Donald Eugene Morgan died on 6 February 2005 at age 73. He was buried at Augusta Memorial Park, Augusta, Woodruff County, Arkansas.

     Ruby Bagwell was born on 7 May 1927 in Arkansas. She was the daughter of Jesse Andrew Bagwell and Fannie O'Shield. As of 31 August 1946,her married name was Cossey. Ruby Bagwell married Edgar Monroe Cossey on 31 August 1946 at Woodruff County, Arkansas. Ruby Bagwell died on 31 July 2013 at age 86. She was buried at Augusta Memorial Park, Augusta, Woodruff County, Arkansas.

     Edgar Monroe Cossey was born on 29 September 1923. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He married Ruby Bagwell, daughter of Jesse Andrew Bagwell and Fannie O'Shield, on 31 August 1946 at Woodruff County, Arkansas. Edgar Monroe Cossey died on 13 August 1977 at age 53. He was buried at Augusta Memorial Park, Augusta, Woodruff County, Arkansas.

     Rachel Bagwell was born on 17 October 1933 in Fitzhugh, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Jesse Andrew Bagwell and Fannie O'Shield. As of after 1950,her married name was Jennings. Rachel Bagwell married Kenneth Jennings after 1950. Rachel Bagwell died on 16 December 2023 in Augusta, Arkansas, at age 90

Rachel Bagwell Jennings of Augusta, passed from this life on Saturday, December 16, 2023. Born in Fitzhugh, Arkansas on October 17, 1933, she was the third of four daughters born to her parents, Jesse Bagwell and Fannie O’Shields Bagwell.
Rachel attended Fitzhugh schools but transferred to Laura Conner High School in Augusta where she graduated with the Class of 1953. She attended Arkansas State Teachers College (now UCA).
Rachel was a dedicated employee of Woodruff Electric Cooperative in Augusta and retired in 2007 after 45 years of service. She also had farming interests in Woodruff County.
She was a member of Augusta Business and Professional Women’s Club for 55 years and was honored to be selected as their Woman of the Year in 1993.
Rachel was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Augusta for many years.
Rachel was preceded in death by her parents and her three sisters, Ruby Cossey, Roggie Lindsey and Rena Morgan.
Survivors include her daughters and their spouses, Cheryl and Bert Haralson and Debra and Mike Flowers of Augusta; two grandchildren and their spouses, Lana and Clint Roth of Stuttgart and Brent and Caroline Flowers of Augusta; two great-grandchildren, Ryleigh and Rhett Roth of Stuttgart. Rachel is also survived by her nieces and nephews and their families and two very special cousins, Lottie Bowen and Josie Fitzpatrick of Augusta.
Friends are welcome to express condolences to the family at Powell Funeral Home, 700 North Ninth Street in Augusta on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. A private graveside service will be conducted at Augusta Memorial Park under the direction of Reverend Melanie Tubbs and Reverend David Hoffman, with eulogy delivered by Bobby Bowen.

     Don Roe Lindsey was born on 1 January 1923 in Newark, Arkansas. He married Roggie Bagwell, daughter of Jesse Andrew Bagwell and Fannie O'Shield, on 25 June 1947 at Woodruff County, Arkansas. He served in the US Army as a Staff Sergeant. Don Roe Lindsey died on 4 February 1997 at age 74. He was buried at Augusta Memorial Park, Augusta, Woodruff County, Arkansas.

     Dorothy Mae Bagwell was born on 28 January 1924 in Columbus, Kentucky. She was the daughter of John Sylvester Bagwell and Rebecca Delilah Harp. As of 18 September 1947,her married name was Mautone. Dorothy Mae Bagwell married Humbert J. Mautone Sr. on 18 September 1947. Dorothy Mae Bagwell died on 27 June 1991 at age 67. She was buried at Union Park Cemetery, Chaffee, Scott County, Missouri.

     Edwin Lee Bagwell was born on 14 January 1926 in Columbus, Kentucky. He was the son of John Sylvester Bagwell and Rebecca Delilah Harp. Edwin Lee Bagwell married Maxine Myatt on 30 January 1954 at Chaffee, Scott County, Missouri. Edwin Lee Bagwell died on 15 January 1998 at age 72. He was buried at Lawrence Memorial Park, Walnut Ridge, Lawrence County, Arkansas.

     Virginia Nell Bagwell is the daughter of John Sylvester Bagwell and Rebecca Delilah Harp. Virginia Nell Bagwell married (?) Osborne after 1948.

     Peggy Jean Bagwell was also known as Patsy Jean Bagwell. She was born on 21 April 1934 in Sikeston, New Madrid County, Missouri. She was the daughter of John Sylvester Bagwell and Rebecca Delilah Harp. As of after 1952,her married name was Martin. Peggy Jean Bagwell married (?) Martin after 1952. As of 28 December 1970,her married name was Ussery. Peggy Jean Bagwell married Floyd Eugene Ussery on 28 December 1970 at Anna, Illinois. Peggy Jean Bagwell died on 6 January 1997 in Springfield, Greene County, Missouri, at age 62

SCOTT CITY -- Patsy Ussery, 53, of Springfield, Ill., died Monday, Jan. 6, 1997, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

She was born April 21, 1943, at Sikeston, daughter of John S. and Rebecca D. Harp Bagwell Sr.

She and Floyd Eugene Ussery were married Dec. 28, 1970, in Anna, Ill.
Ussery was a customer service clerk at Wal-Mart. She was a member of ABF Wives Club, VFW Auxiliary to Post 6407 at Scott City, and St. Mark's Chapter 167 Order of Eastern Star in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Scott Ussery of Springfield; a stepson, Floyd Ussery Jr. of Little Rock, Ark; two stepdaughters, Sherry Martin of Little Rock, Brenda Counlis of Stanford, Fla; three brothers, John Bagwell Jr. of Mesa, Ariz., Edwin Bagwell of Walnut Ridge, Ark., Bill Bagwell of Cape Girardeau; six sisters, Sue Osborne of St. Peters, Peggy Copeland of Fulton, Ky., Judy Knox of Seneca, S.C., Claudia Rollet of Perryville, Mary Foulk of Chaffee, Carolyn Graffius of Chesapeake, Va; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. William Dickey officiating.

Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.

Cape Girardeau - William Richard Bagwell, 62 years old, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 13, 1936, at Columbus, Ky., the son of John and Rebecca Slayton Bagwell. He and Nita Lankford were married on Sept. 28, 1968.
He had served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired as a line pair leader from Procter & Gamble in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Paula Rouggly, Lisa Leible and Rebecca Simmons; a brother, John Bagwell Jr; six sisters, Peggy Copeland, Virginia Osborne, Mary Foulk, Claudia Rollett, Judy Knox and Caroline Graffius; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Burial will be in the Union Park Cemetery.

Nita Fay Lankford died on 15 January 2019 in Cape Girardeau, Cape Girardeau County, Missouri, at age 76
Of Cape Girardeau formerly of Chaffee passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at St. Francis Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on July 6, 1942 in Swain, Arkansas to the late James Corelis and Mildred Beatrice Baxter Lankford. She married William Richard Bagwell on Sept. 28, 1968 and he preceded her in death on Oct. 4, 1998.
She was a homemaker who loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was of the Pentecostal Faith.
She is survived by three daughters, Paula (Tim) Simmers; Lisa Krieg and Rebecca Laxton all of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Leona Lesch of Delta; Kathie Razer of Chaffee and Lela Jaco of Pensacola, Florida; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren
She was also preceded in death by four brothers and nine sisters.

Bagwell, son of Adolphus Leroy Martin Bagwell and Pearlie Mae Logan, on 8 December 1941 at Latimer, Oklahoma.¹ Dortha Marie Lucas died on 21 March 2000 in Oklahoma at age 75. She was buried at Center Point Cemetery, Wilburton, Latimer County, Oklahoma.

     Dorothy Mae Bagwell is the daughter of Homer G. D. Bagwell and Dortha Marie Lucas.¹ Dorothy Mae Bagwell married Johnny Sutmiller on 14 October 1960 at Wilburton, Oklahoma.

     Harrell Bagwell is the son of Homer G. D. Bagwell and Dortha Marie Lucas.¹ Harrell Bagwell married Stella Cook after 1965.¹

     Darrell Bagwell is the son of Homer G. D. Bagwell and Dortha Marie Lucas.¹ Darrell Bagwell married Carol Chronister circa 1965.¹
