She retired from the Forsyth County Board of Education after 30 years of teaching at Big Creek Elementary School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Bagwell; brother, Ralph “Cotton” Sexton; parents, Glen and Ether Sexton. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gina and Mark Kanehl of Dahlonega; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Cindi Bagwell of Dahlonega; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Charlotte Sexton of Buford; sister and brother-in-law, Janis and Bill Thomas of Cumming; brother in law and sister in law, Wansley and Lindell Watson of Cumming; grandchildren, Travis Kanehl and Christopher Bagwell.¹
She was buried at Sawnee View Gardens and Mausoleum, Cumming, Forsyth County, Georgia.¹

     Rebecca (?) and Albert Lamar Bagwell Jr. were divorced on 26 September 2001 at Escambia County, Florida.

     Grady H. Bagwell was born on 9 May 1925 in Winston, Mississippi. He was the son of Samuel Whitfield Bagwell and Alice Theodocia "Allie" Barnes. Grady H. Bagwell lived in 1976 in Ackerman, Mississippi. He died on 26 May 1989 in Ackerman, Choctaw County, Mississippi, at age 64. He was buried at Salem Independent Methodist Church Cemetery, Chester, Chotctaw County, Mississippi.

     Earlene Bagwell was born on 12 June 1927. She was the daughter of Samuel Whitfield Bagwell and Alice Theodocia "Allie" Barnes. As of after 1946,her married name was Welch. Earlene Bagwell married Leroy Welch after 1946.¹ Earlene Bagwell died on 5 January 1978 at age 50. She was buried at Old Fellowship Cemetery, Jones County, Mississippi.

Ruth Smith Engram, 98, of Valdosta formerly of Waycross died Sunday afternoon (Nov. 11, 2007) at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta after an extended illness. Mrs. Engram was born in Vienna, GA to the late E.M. Smith and Stella K. Huff Smith. She attended college in Valdosta and received a degree from the college in Milledgeville, GA. Mrs. Engram taught school for 31 years, 27 of those years in Waycross, 10 years as Principal of Alice Street and Quarterman Street School and retired from Morton Avenue School in 1970.

Mrs. Engram was a member of the Waycross First Presbyterian Church, the Georgia Educators Association, Retired Teachers Association and former Secretary of the Waycross Teachers Association.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Waldo Engram, Sr., her first husband Lamar Taft Walea and a step-son, Ashley Engram.

Survivors include one daughter, Gwen Walea Lewis (Wallace A.), Valdosta, two granddaughters, Lynn Trumm (Keith), Hahira, LuAnne Jordan (Steve), Statesboro, four great grandchildren, Zackary Lewis Bentley, Jesse Pierce Bentley, Kathryn LuAnne Bentley, all of Hahira, Spencer Haynes Jordan, Statesboro, one great-great granddaughter, Isabella Amelia Bentley, Jackson, MS, two step grandchildren, Larry Engram, Brian Engram, both of Waycross and other relatives.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at Oakland Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 til 10:45 am Wednesday morning at the funeral home.

He was honorably discharged on 25 January 1946. Ralph Waldo Engram Jr. married Nancy Rezora Thompson on 24 March 1945 at Indian River County, Florida. Ralph Waldo Engram Jr. married Beryl D. (?) before 1954. Ralph Waldo Engram Jr. and Beryl D. (?) were divorced in April 1954 at Houston County, Alabama. Ralph Waldo Engram Jr. died on 23 February 1957 at age 36.¹ He was buried at Oakland Cemetery, Waycross, Ware County, Georgia.¹

     Nancy Rezora Thompson was born on 8 June 1925 in Waycross, Ware County, Georgia. As of 24 March 1945,her married name was Engram. She married Ralph Waldo Engram Jr., son of Ralph Waldo Engram Sr. and Myrtis Vilva Carter, on 24 March 1945 at Indian River County, Florida. As of after 1946,her married name was Johnston. Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Laughinghouse Engram, 91, died Wednesday afternoon (December 6, 2017) at her residence after a short illness.

A Ware County native and lifelong resident, she was the daughter of the late Donald Leroy Laughinghouse, Sr. and Ida Ruth Ray Laughinghouse. She attended Waycross Public Schools and was a member of Second Baptist Church. Later she retired from the Southern Bell Business Office in Waycross after 40 years.

Survivors include two sons, Lawrence “Larry” Ashley Engram, Jr. of Waycross, and James Brian Engram (late wife Susan) of Blackshear; one granddaughter, Lindsey Thomas (husband Jason); one sister, Glenna Griffis Lampp of Waycross; step-sister, Gwen Lewis of Valdosta; several nieces and nephews including Bruce and Donna Crawford, Donnie and Faye Laughinghouse, Terry Laughinghouse, Pam Sperry all of Waycross, John and Diane Griffis of Blackshear, Tim and Holly Griffis of Milton; several great nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, Sandy Allen of Waycross.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday (December 8, 2017) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends 1 until 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The family has requested a private burial of her ashes will be held at Oakland Cemetery.

     He served as a First Lieutenant, Company C, 503 Infantry, 173rd Airborne, 1st Battalion. (Service Number: 05326218). His tour started an unknown date.¹ First Lieutenant Randal Clyde Engram was born on 30 June 1943.¹ He was the son of Louis Clyde Engram.¹ First Lieutenant Randal Clyde Engram died on 3 October 1966 in Quang Tri Province, Republic of Vietnam (South Vietnam), at age 23 of an explosive device.¹ He was buried at Pinecrest Cemetery, Lake Worth, Palm Beach County, Florida.
