     Julie E. Wilson was born on 4 October 1948 in Decatur, Georgia. As of after 1967,her married name was Bagwell. She married Stanley Dave Bagwell, son of James William Bagwell and Eula Mae Pinson, after 1967. Julie E. Wilson died on 19 February 2025 in Oakwood, Georgia, at age 76


Mrs. Julie Wilson Bagwell, age 76 of Oakwood, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 12:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Mike Taylor and Reverend Zach Williams will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bagwell was born October 4, 1948 in Decatur, Georgia to the late Paul Columbus Wilson and Mamie Frances Smith Wilson. She was a retired sales lady at Lord & Taylor Department Store and was a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church. Julie is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Randy Wilson and her sister, Martha Wilson.

Mrs. Bagwell is survived by her husband, Stanley Dave Bagwell of Oakwood, her daughter, Gail Bagwell of Oakwood, her son, Jason Bagwell and her niece, Jennifer Bowen Antonakos of Augusta, Georgia.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504 is in charge of arrangements.

She was buried on 22 February 2025 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Gainesville, Georgia.

     Franklin DeWitt Wilder was born on 27 December 1941 in Pontotoc County, Mississippi. He married Janie Lou Bagwell, daughter of John Quincy Bagwell and Edna Earl Foster, circa 1963. Franklin DeWitt Wilder died in 2016. He died on 10 October 2016 in New Albany, Union County, Mississippi, at age 74. He was buried at Ecru City Cemetery, Ecru, Pontotoc County, Mississippi.

     Whitney Stork married Blake W. Bagwell, son of Michael Williams Bagwell and Helen C. Crawford, after 2001.

     Amelia A. (?) married Michael Williams Bagwell, son of Samuel Percy Bagwell and Hilda Maxine Williams, after 1978.

     Lisa Gaye Melton married Lawrence Marvin Bagwell, son of Horace Elma Bagwell and Phyllis Frances Petrick, on 29 October 1994 at Tarrant County, Texas.

     Wyatt Lawrence Bagwell is the son of Lawrence Marvin Bagwell and Lisa Gaye Melton.

     Guindelean M. (?) married Paul Vincent Bagwell, son of Horace Elma Bagwell and Phyllis Frances Petrick, after 1973.

     Sally (?) married Michael Bagwell, son of Horace Elma Bagwell and Phyllis Frances Petrick, after 1973.

     Paul Bagwell is the son of Paul Vincent Bagwell and Guindelean M. (?) Paul Bagwell married April (?) after 1997.

     April (?) married Paul Bagwell, son of Paul Vincent Bagwell and Guindelean M. (?), after 1997.

     Robert Hamilton married Mamie Darleen Head after 1985.

     Barbara Faye Bagwell was born on 24 May 1945 in Jefferson County, Texas. She was the daughter of Fred Cornelison Bagwell and Bernice Elizabeth Reynolds. As of 14 August 1965,her married name was Rountree. Barbara Faye Bagwell married Alzie Oliver Rountree on 14 August 1965 at McLennan County, Texas. Barbara Faye Bagwell died on 19 February 2025 in Waco, McLennan County, Texas, at age 79. She was buried at Waco Memorial Park, Robinson, McLennan County, Texas.

     Alzie Oliver Rountree was also known as Algie Oliver Rountree. He was born on 8 October 1944. He married Barbara Faye Bagwell, daughter of Fred Cornelison Bagwell and Bernice Elizabeth Reynolds, on 14 August 1965 at McLennan County, Texas. Alzie Oliver Rountree died on 19 July 2015 in Waco, Texas, at age 70


Algie O. Rountree, Jr. October 8, 1944 - July 19, 2015 Algie O. Rountree, Jr. of Waco, Texas, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 23, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Algie was born October 8, 1944, to Algie and Elsie Rountree. He graduated from Waco High and attended Baylor. He served in the U.S. Air Force. During his career he was an electronic technician and that eventually led him to establish his own music recording studio. Algie was a gifted musician, composing music, playing and singing in several local bands. He had been a member of Fidelis Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara Bagwell Rountree of Waco; cousin, David Mark Williams and wife, Jan, of Alexandria, LA, and his daughter, Erin, and son, Michael, and cousin, Melissa Pennington and her son, Will; sister-in-law, Pamela Young and husband, Steve, of Corrales, NM.
