Marion Verdell Bagwell and Etta Bernice Smith lived in 1951 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Dorothy Melissa Warren Smith, 89, left this life to join the angels in Heaven on Saturday, March 17, 2012. Dorothy was born on July 16, 1922, with her twin sister Doris, to Morris Bagwell and Jane Looper (Bagwell) near Mansfield, Arkansas. In 1925, the Bagwell family came to Holdenville, OK. Dorothy graduated from Holdenville High School.

She worked for over 30 years as assistant cafeteria manager at St. Gregory's College/University, retiring in 1999, where many, many students called her "Ma" Smith.

She was a parishioner of St. Benedict Catholic Church, where she served the Jr. Catholic Daughters, Catholic Daughters, Parish Guild, Golden Hearts and Birthday Girls.
She married Arthur Clark Warren who preceded her in death in 1963. She married Uel Smith who preceded her in death in 1984.

Dorothy enters into Heaven as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and as the matriarch of the family. She was always the happiest when among them. She is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law, William A. and Jane Warren, Stephen C. and Kaye Warren, Theron U. and Christi Smith; grandchildren Larry and Janna Warren, Jason and Brandi Warren, Tom and Kasey Brenneman, Melissa L. Warren, Marshall Smith, Jennifer Smith; Nine great-grandchildren Jordan, Madeline, Grace, Elizabeth, Thomas, Ashley, Jessica, Brittany, and Faith; three great-great grandchildren and many more family and friends.
