Amber Bagwell, 45 of Victoria passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 in Victoria. She was born February 15, 1977 in Houston, TX to John and Linda Brown Bagwell.
Amber was a free-lance writer and worked in public relations.

Amber had a bigger than life personality. You always knew when she walked into a room. She was a TV personality, writer extraordinaire and the promoter of all. Her work with national media included Forbes Magazine, The Today’s Show, Wall Street Journal, Dallas Morning News and most recently the Victoria Advocate.

She had a passion for people and devoted countless hours to helping others. She loved her family and spent every sunny day she could with those she loved riding horses, lounging by the pool or at the lake enjoying the great outdoors.

She is survived by her parents, John and Linda Bagwell; partner Robert Boatright and son, Colton Boatright; sisters, Amy Mundy (Arron) of Victoria, April Wenske (Stephen) of Houston; brother, Doug Bagwell of Victoria; nieces, Felicity Wenske, Camilla Wenske, Patti Riley; nephews, John Mundy (Kelley), Sebastian Wenske, Colton Mundy and numerous aunts and uncles.

Preceded in death: Grandparents Clyde and Larice Brown, John Melvin and Faye Bagwell, Aunt Donna Donnell , Uncle Clifford Bagwell.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 3-5 pm at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Funeral service is 11 am on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels with Rev. Ricky Bagwell, Amber’s uncle officiating. Private family graveside services will be held in Kenedy, Tx.

Pallbearers are Doug Bagwell, Arron Mundy, John Mundy, Colton Mundy, Stephen Wenske and Robert Boatright.

Barbara Stephens Bagwell, age 75, of Dacula passed away Saturday, September 20, 2014. She was preceded in Heaven by her husband, John W. Bagwell; parents, Fred and Lottie Stephens; and sisters, Maebell Britt, and Janet Riley.

She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law; two sons and daughters-in-law; five brothers and sisters-in-law; one sister and brother-in-law; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service to Honor the Life of Barbara Stephens Bagwell will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 11AM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel, with Rev. Ollie V. Hayes officiating. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday, September 22, 2014 from 2PM until 4PM and 6PM until 8PM at the funeral home.

Maurine Pleasant Bagwell, age 94 of Anderson, Texas, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017. She was born October 18, 1922 in Nacogdoches, Texas to parents Thomas Jackson Pleasant and Susie Martha Layton who preceded her in death along with her husband, Woodrow Lattin Bagwell; daughter, Donna Kay Bagwell Herman; grandson, Thomas Jackson Bagwell; granddaughter, Bridgett Sue Bagwell Bar; and great-grandson, Koty Alexander Bagwell.

She was a previous resident of Splendora for 54 years. She was very devoted to her family and a good country woman.

Survivors include her daughters, Sue Maurine Bagwell Jones, and Sheila Bagwell Fulcher and spouse Gary; sons, Woodrow Lattin Bagwell and spouse Sheena, Thomas William Bagwell, and William Allen Bagwell and spouse Charlotte; grandchildren, Kimberley Marti, Susan Jones, Shaunna Moody, Craig Black, Bryan Bagwell, Steven Bagwell, B.J. Bagwell, T.J. Bagwell, Donna Gilcrest, Jason Bagwell, Justin Fulcher, Shannon Fulcher, Cheyenne Fulcher and Lauren Bagwell Lechler; loved dearly by many great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 19, 2017 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Cleveland City Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
