     Mary Lois Huett married James William Bagwell Jr., son of James William Bagwell and Pearl O'Shields, on 31 December 1974 at Pulaski County, Arkansas.

     Pearl O'Shields was born on 14 July 1881. Her married name was Bagwell. She married James William Bagwell, son of Andrew Jackson Bagwell and Elizabeth Brickey, before 1920. Pearl O'Shields died on 25 February 1968 at age 86.

     Ollie Mae Perrin was born on 19 June 1930 in Swifton, Arkansas. As of before 1950,her married name was Henley. She married Windford Henley before 1950 at Arkansas. As of 12 May 1953,her married name was Bagwell. Ollie Mae Perrin married Oakford Clark Bagwell, son of James William Bagwell and Lula Lamb, on 12 May 1953 at Woodruff County, Arkansas. Ollie Mae Perrin died on 2 May 2023 in Harrison, Arkansas, at age 92


Mrs. Ollie Mae (Perrin) Bagwell, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2023, at the age of 92, in Harrison, Arkansas. She was born on June 19, 1930, in Swifton, AR, to Oscar Perrin and Pearl (Young) Perrin Norris. Mrs. Bagwell was a member of the Assembly of God in Tupelo, where she found solace and peace in her faith.

Mrs. Bagwell lived a full and happy life, and she will be remembered by those who knew her as a warm and caring person. She worked as a farmer's wife and farmhand for many years, supporting her husband in his work until his untimely death. She then worked at Phillips Van Heusen for 25 years, where she retired from. Throughout her life, Mrs. Bagwell enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, baking, cooking, and listening to old gospel music.

Her green thumb was renowned among her friends and family, and she took great pride in her vegetable and flower gardens. Mrs. Bagwell's pies, particularly her coconut and chocolate pies, were famous in the community, and she enjoyed baking them for her family and friends. She also enjoyed cooking and was known for preparing delicious meals for her family. Her love of old gospel music was something she shared with her family and friends, and it brought her much joy.

Mrs. Bagwell was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Perrin and Pearl (Young) Perrin Norris, and her beloved husband, Oakford Clark Bagwell. She is survived by her son, Gary Henley, and wife Sue of McCrory, daughter Cathy Drewry of Harrison, one brother, Harold Perrin and wife Delano of Newark, four grandchildren, Ann Drewry of Little Rock, James O. Drewry of Little Rock, Paul Henley of Newport, Eric Henley of Jacksonville, two great-grandchildren, Cody Henley and wife Brandy of Warren, Texas, and Leila Henley of Little Rock, two great-great-grandchildren, Parker Henley and Macy Henley, one nephew, Bill Perrin, and wife Judy of Imperial, MO, and one niece, Beth Korenak, and husband John of Lubbering, MO.

The family will receive friends and loved ones at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel from 12:00 to 1:30 pm on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, followed by a graveside service at White Lake Cemetery.

Mrs. Bagwell's passing is a loss to the community and to those who knew her. Her kindness, generosity, and love for her family and friends will be deeply missed. She will be remembered fondly for her warm smile, gentle heart, and unwavering faith. May she rest in peace, knowing that she has left a lasting legacy of love and kindness in the hearts of those who knew her.


She was buried on 10 May 2023 at White Church Cemetery, Augusta, Woodruff County, Arkansas.

     Susie (?) married Noel Reese Bagwell II, son of Noel Reese Bagwell and Henrietta Smith, after 1974.

     Holly Bagwell is the daughter of Noel Reese Bagwell II and Susie (?) Holly Bagwell married Josh Austin after 1995.

     Josh Austin married Holly Bagwell, daughter of Noel Reese Bagwell II and Susie (?), after 1995.

     Autumn Bagwell is the daughter of Noel Reese Bagwell II and Susie (?) Autumn Bagwell married Scott Zuckerman after 1995.

     Scott Zuckerman married Autumn Bagwell, daughter of Noel Reese Bagwell II and Susie (?), after 1995.

     William Henry Bagwell is the son of Noel Reese Bagwell III.

     Leslie Eugene "Gene" Bagwell was born on 4 October 1946 in Chester County, South Carolina. He was the son of Cullen Lafayette Bagwell and Mae Belle White. Leslie Eugene "Gene" Bagwell married Betty Pauline Simon after 1976. Leslie Eugene "Gene" Bagwell died on 7 August 2021 in Chester County, South Carolina, at age 74


Leslie Eugene Bagwell, age 74, passed away unexpectedly August 7, 2021. He was the widow of Pauline Simon Bagwell and the son of the late Cullen and Maebelle White Bagwell. Survivors are a daughter, Renee B. Britt (Darrell) of Chester; a son, Marshal Bagwell (Leasa) of Zirconia, NC; five grand-children, Brianna Britt, Wyatt, Britt, Mitchell Bagwell, Brandon Bagwell and Paige Bagwell; one great-grand-child, Harley Crisp. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Carolyn B. Henson and Shirley B. Vess.

Mr. Bagwell was a Christian. He enjoyed bird watching, working in his yard, listening to music and going to the beach with his family.

The family will greet friends 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Friday, August 13, 2021 at Pollard Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel.

     Betty Pauline Simon was born on 8 September 1957 in Chester County, South Carolina. As of after 1976,her married name was Bagwell. She married Leslie Eugene "Gene" Bagwell, son of Cullen Lafayette Bagwell and Mae Belle White, after 1976. Betty Pauline Simon died on 21 July 2018 in Chester County, South Carolina, at age 60. She was cremated.

     Shirley Anne Bagwell was born on 16 October 1939 in South Carolina. She was the daughter of Cullen Lafayette Bagwell and Mae Belle White. As of 23 July 1954,her married name was Vess. Shirley Anne Bagwell married Albert Leroy Vess Sr. on 23 July 1954 at Chester County, South Carolina. Shirley Anne Bagwell died on 7 February 2002 at age 62. She was buried at Chester Memorial Gardens, Chester, Chester County, South Carolina.

     Albert Leroy Vess Sr. was born on 29 May 1935 in Chester County, South Carolina. He married Shirley Anne Bagwell, daughter of Cullen Lafayette Bagwell and Mae Belle White, on 23 July 1954 at Chester County, South Carolina. Albert Leroy Vess Sr. died on 22 November 2015 in Chester County, South Carolina, at age 80.

     Carolyn Lee Bagwell was born on 23 February 1941. She was the daughter of Cullen Lafayette Bagwell and Mae Belle White. As of 1960,her married name was Henson. Carolyn Lee Bagwell married Ernest Banks “E. B.” Henson Jr. in 1960. Carolyn Lee Bagwell died on 10 July 2008 in Great Falls, Chester County, South Carolina, at age 67. She was buried at Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery, Rossville, Chester County, South Carolina.

     Ernest Banks “E. B.” Henson Jr. was born on 12 September 1937 in Chester County, South Carolina. He married Carolyn Lee Bagwell, daughter of Cullen Lafayette Bagwell and Mae Belle White, in 1960. Ernest Banks “E. B.” Henson Jr. died on 26 February 1992 in Lancaster County, South Carolina, at age 54. He was buried at Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery, Rossville, Chester County, South Carolina.
