     Nina Lugene Bagwell was born on 4 March 1957 in Baltimore, Maryland. She was the daughter of Eugene Grant Bagwell Jr. and Betty Lane Riley. As of before 2021,her married name was Moore. Nina Lugene Bagwell married Thomas Moore before 2021. Nina Lugene Bagwell died on 17 December 2021 in Panama City, Florida, at age 64


Nina Lugene Moore, 64, of Panama City, Florida passed away Friday, December 17, 2021. She was born March 4, 1957 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Nina was a farm girl, raised on the farm with her grandparents. She always said living a simple life was the best way to live your life. She had a great love for animals, especially horses and her pet dogs. Nina was a hard worker, rather it be her job, or helping family and friends. She had a strong will but could also make you laugh till you cried. Her greatest joy in the last few years was her great-nephew, Kai, her BFFF…is what they called each other. Most of all Nina was a beautiful woman, person and friend to all, and will be missed by her family and friends.

Nina was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Moore aka Happy; parents, Eugene Grant Bagwell and Betty Lane Cuddy; and brother, Lonnie Robert Bagwell.

Those left to cherish Nina’s memory include her sisters, Demma Horton and Schwanda Anderson; her brother, Eugene Grant Bagwell II and wife, Maureen; sister-in-law (like a sister), Donna Bagwell; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Nina will be missed but never forgotten.

     Schwanda Bagwell is the daughter of Eugene Grant Bagwell Jr. and Betty Lane Riley. Schwanda Bagwell married (?) Anderson after 1970.

     Dorothy (?) married Eugene Grant Bagwell Jr., son of Eugene Grant Bagwell and Emma Virginia Hogart, circa 1945.

     Andrea (?) married Wayne Bagwell, son of Thomas Harden "Tommy" Bagwell and Frances Tucker, after 1965.

     Tammy (?) married Thomas Harden "Tommy" Bagwell, son of Horace Eugene Bagwell and Gurtha Chasteen, after 1965.

     Eugene Edward Bagwell III was born on 3 November 1946 in Downey Hospital, Gainesville, Georgia. He was the son of Master Sergeant Eugene Edward Bagwell Jr. and Lucille Conner. Eugene Edward Bagwell III married Sonja Black circa 1975. Eugene Edward Bagwell III died on 5 October 2018 at age 71

Eugene “Eddie” Bagwell III, 71, of Oakwood, passed away Friday October 5, 2018. Eddie was born on November 3, 1946 at Downey Hospital in Gainesville, to the late Eugene E. and Lucille Connor Bagwell Jr.

He was a graduate of Gainesville High School and received his Associates Degree from Truitt McConnell University.

Mr. Bagwell worked for the Georgia Department of Transportation as a Lab Supervisor before retiring.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Tina Bratten and grandson, Clayton Brown.

He is survived by is his wife of 43 years, Sonja Black Bagwell; son, Warren Bratten and Eugene “Gene” Bagwell IV; grandchildren, Cody (Leah) Bratten, Courtney (Brandon) Brown; Great-grandchildren, Zoe Brown, Zac Brown, Jaxson Brown, Kimber Bratten and Bonnie Bratten. Sister; Diane Warren and nephew, William Warren.

Graveside Services for Mr. Bagwell will be held Monday October 8, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in the Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery, 3664 Lebanon Church Rd., Gainesville. Rev. Marshall Dale officiating

The family will receive friends Sunday October 7, from 6-8 p.m. at Little & Davenport Funeral Home.

     Bruce Bryant Bagwell was born on 9 February 1934 in District of Columbia. He was the son of Butrow Bryant Bagwell and Mary Lee Critcher. He served as a US Marine from from 2 July 1953 to 1 July 1957. Bruce Bryant Bagwell died on 13 August 1982 at age 48. He was buried at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, Prince George's County, Maryland.

     Rosemary Bagwell is the daughter of Butrow Bryant Bagwell and Mary Lee Critcher.

     Lila Capitola Bagwell was also known as Capitola Bagwell. She was born on 21 January 1929 in South Carolina. She was the daughter of Horace Eugene Bagwell and Gurtha Chasteen. As of after 1950,her married name was Porter. Lila Capitola Bagwell married Henry Elbert Porter after 1950. Lila Capitola Bagwell died on 7 May 2016 at age 87


Lila Capitola Porter, 87, of Simpsonville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 7, 2016.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 56 years, Henry E. Porter, as well as brothers; Ray, Tommy and Wayne Bagwell.

She is survived by two sons; Keith (Kristen) Porter and Steve (Kathy) Porter.

Capitola graduated from SC Baptist Hospital College for Nurses in 1950 and practiced as a registered nurse for fifty years. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, as well as East Georgia Road Baptist Church.

A private family burial will take place at Graceland East Memorial Park.

     Henry Elbert Porter was born on 9 June 1920 in Pickens County, South Carolina. He was a Staff SGT in the US Army during World War II. He married Lila Capitola Bagwell, daughter of Horace Eugene Bagwell and Gurtha Chasteen, after 1950. Henry Elbert Porter died on 23 April 2009 in Simpsonville, Greenville County, South Carolina, at age 88. He was buried at Graceland East Memorial Park and Mausoleum, Simpsonville, Greenville County, South Carolina.

     Dana Beth Bagwell is the daughter of Gary Dan "Danny" Bagwell and Bessie Lee Turner. Dana Beth Bagwell married Randolph Kermit Cooper on 13 August 1983 at Greenville, South Carolina. Dana Beth Bagwell married Christopher Beckman Burnette on 11 August 1990 at Columbia, South Carolina.
