     Esther Bagwell is the daughter of Virgil James Bagwell and Adeline Patrick.¹

     Esther Alyne Bagwell was born in 1928. She was the daughter of J. Judson Bagwell and Ella Mae McClung. As of 7 May 1954,her married name was Worthen. Esther Alyne Bagwell married Richard A. Worthen on 7 May 1954 at Maine. Esther Alyne Bagwell died on 26 February 1984 in Grreenville, South Carolina. She was buried at Graceland West Cemetery and Mausoleum, Grreenville, Greenville County, South Carolina.

     Richard A. Worthen was born on 2 January 1922 in Portland, Cumberland County, Maine. He married Esther Alyne Bagwell, daughter of J. Judson Bagwell and Ella Mae McClung, on 7 May 1954 at Maine. Richard A. Worthen died on 17 March 1982 in Buncombe County, North Carolina, at age 60. He was buried at Graceland West Cemetery and Mausoleum, Grreenville, Greenville County, South Carolina.

She married Ernest Reed Bagwell Jr., son of Ernest Reed Bagwell and Tabitha White, before 1946. As of after 1950,her married name was Davis. Rosetta Griffin married Willie L. Davis Sr. after 1950. Rosetta Griffin died on 19 May 1996 at age 70. She was buried at Adams United Methodist Church Cemetery, Parksley, Accomack County, Virginia.

     Willie L. Davis Sr. was born on 10 December 1925 in Parksley, Accomack County, Virginia. He married Rosetta Griffin after 1950. Willie L. Davis Sr. died on 7 October 2006 in Parksley, Accomack County, Virginia, at age 80. He was buried at Adams United Methodist Church Cemetery, Parksley, Accomack County, Virginia.

     Diane W. Bagwell is the daughter of Ernest Reed Bagwell Jr. and Rosetta Griffin. Diane W. Bagwell married (?) Randall after 1966.

     Bruce Eugene Bagwell is the son of Ernest Reed Bagwell Jr. and Rosetta Griffin. Bruce Eugene Bagwell married Beverly Ann Bagwell, daughter of Thomas Nathaniel Bagwell and Dorothy Marie Finney, on 23 June 1987 at Accomack County, Virginia.

As of after 1958,her married name was Bagwell. Stella Virginia Nock married James Lee Bagwell, son of Julius Raymond Bagwell and Mary Magdalene Stevens, after 1958. Stella Virginia Nock died on 27 December 2006 in Onancock, Accomack County, Virginia, at age 91. She was buried on 30 December 2006 at Gaskins Chapel AME Church Cemetery, Onancock, Accomack County, Virginia.

     Debora Sue Bagwell was born on 27 August 1952 in Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama. She was the daughter of Thomas Buford Bagwell Jr. and Martha Ishee. Debora Sue Bagwell died on 7 October 2014 in Foley, Baldwin County, Alabama, at age 62. She was cremated and ashes scattered in the Gulf of Mexico.

     Randall Troy Boultinghouse married Teresa Lynn Bagwell, daughter of Rennel Dwain Bagwell and Evelyn Jane Cole, on 2 November 1979 at Denton County, Texas. Randall Troy Boultinghouse and Teresa Lynn Bagwell were divorced on 4 August 1992 at Houston, Texas.

     Marcia Sue (?) married Earl Edwin Bagwell, son of Thurman Edward Bagwell and Helen France, after 1951.

Harold Joseph Bagwell III married Tina Marie Babula on 21 July 1989 at Norfolk, Virginia. Harold Joseph Bagwell III and Tina Marie Babula were divorced on 28 April 1993 at Miami-Dade County, Florida. Harold Joseph Bagwell III died on 16 February 2026 in Boyce, Louisiana, at age 56


Harold Joseph Bagwell III (Harry), 56, of Boyce, LA, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, in Boyce, Louisiana. Unfortunately, Harry passed from brain, lung, and bone cancer. He was surrounded by friends and extended family who opened their home to him. He was born in St. Peters Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ in 1969 to Harold Joseph Bagwell, Jr., and Karen Katherine Edwards. Harry attended Marine Academy of Science & Technology (MAST) (NJROTC) program before entering the U.S. Navy NONPO/USNAD. Harold loved his kitty cats, the outdoors, fishing, and stained-glass creations. Harry was a great bass fisherman right up until he couldn’t anymore.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Kayla Ann Bagwell, and brother Kenneth Edward Northup, Jr., and Mother Karen Katherine Edwards-Machinski

Harry is survived by his father Harold Joseph Bagwell, Jr., sister Robin Lynn Northup, stepfather Frank C. Machinski, ex-wife Tina, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephew, great niece, great nephews, and great-great nephew.

Harry will always be loved and missed. In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Cancer Society. There will be a private service at a later date.
