OBITUARY
Gary joined his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Wed., July 8, 2026 after a long and painful battle with Multiple Sclerosis. His faith and love for God and his family never wavered.

Gary’s talents were many: auto repair, construction, electrical plumbing, irrigation, fabrication etc. He was best known and loved for his generous and compassionate nature.

He is survived by his two sons, Hunter Thomas Bagwell and Domenic (Nicky) Bagwell; his father, Woodrow L. Bagwell Jr; his mother, Betty J. Bagwell; as well as his sister Sherry Lynn (Bagwell) Hudson; two aunts, Karen Dickens (Rod Dickens), Donna Ortiz; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Our most beloved son, rest in peace with God.

     Sherry Lynn Bagwell is the daughter of Woodrow Lewis Bagwell Jr. and Betty Jean (?) Sherry Lynn Bagwell married Leroy Hudson after 1987.

     Hunter Thomas Bagwell is the son of Reverend Gary Allen Bagwell.

     Ginger Bagwell is the daughter of Carl Franklin Bagwell and Ruth Harris. Ginger Bagwell married Kevin Dean Harris after 1988.

     Sue Maurine Bagwell is the daughter of Woodrow Lattin Bagwell Sr. and Maureen Pleasant. Sue Maurine Bagwell married David Clyde Jones on 15 February 1967 at Montgomery County, Texas. Sue Maurine Bagwell married Floyd H. Duval on 7 April 2001 at Montgomery County, Texas.

     Floyd H. Duval married Sue Maurine Bagwell, daughter of Woodrow Lattin Bagwell Sr. and Maureen Pleasant, on 7 April 2001 at Montgomery County, Texas.

     David Clyde Jones was born on 21 August 1942 in Crowell, Texas. He married Sue Maurine Bagwell, daughter of Woodrow Lattin Bagwell Sr. and Maureen Pleasant, on 15 February 1967 at Montgomery County, Texas. David Clyde Jones died on 28 December 1992 in Llano, Texas, at age 50.

     John Orest Barr married Bridgett Bagwell, daughter of Donna Kay Bagwell, on 31 December 1994 at Montgomery County, Texas. John Orest Barr and Bridgett Bagwell were divorced on 17 April 1997 at Montgomery County, Texas.

     Steven J. Lechler married Lauren Catherine Bagwell, daughter of William Allen Bagwell and Mary Charlotte Brewer, on 26 March 2017 at Galveston County, Texas.

     Cody Allen Bagwell is the son of Bridgett Bagwell. Cody Allen Bagwell married Kelly Leanne Powell before 2016.

     Koty Alexander Bagwell died on 29 July 2016 in Kingwood, Texas. She was born on 29 July 2016 in Kingwood, Texas. She was the daughter of Cody Allen Bagwell and Kelly Leanne Powell. Koty Alexander Bagwell was buried on 4 August 2016 at Cleveland Memorial Cemetery, Cleveland, Liberty County, Texas.
