     Alps Thomas was also known as Joseph A. Thomas. He was born on 27 January 1891. He married Maude Thomas Bagwell, daughter of Peyton L. Bagwell and Lucy Tankersley, on 24 December 1910 at Spalding, Georgia. Alps Thomas died on 14 October 1959 at age 68. He was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, Griffin, Spalding County, Georgia.

     John W. Williams married Lavonia Mattie Bagwell, daughter of Blakley Bagwell and Nancy Riggins, on 11 October 1885 at Spalding County, Georgia.

     Mary G. Gunion was born on 8 July 1923 in Roann, Wabash County, Indiana. As of 27 February 1969,her married name was Bagwell. She married Harold Demoine Bagwell, son of Charles A. Bagwell and Grace McCloud, on 27 February 1969. Mary G. Gunion died on 5 September 2018 in Logansport, Cass County, Indiana, at age 95

Born in Roann on July 8, 1923, she was the daughter of Elmer L. and Daisy Kershner Gunion.

Mary was married to Edward L. Barnett, Sr., who passed away on August 28, 1997. They had four children together. She later married Harold Bagwell on February 27, 1969, and he preceded her in death on September 30, 2005.

She had done secretarial and office work. Mary enjoyed listening to music, especially, Gospel and old country. She also liked to knit, crochet, read, and watch television.

Surviving are children, Carolyn (Jack) Samuels, Logansport, Jackson (Phyllis) Barnett, Peru, Sandra (Art) Freed, Dade City, Florida, and Edward (Jennifer) Barnett, Springville; 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 23 great-great grandchildren.

Also preceding Mary in death were siblings, Lyman, Edna, Arthur, and Laura.

The visitation , September 8, 2018, at Kroeger Funeral Home, with the service following at 1:00 p.m., also at the funeral home, with Rev. Ken Smith officiating.

Interment will follow in the Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Monticello.
She was buried at IOOF Riverview Cemetery, Monticello, White County, Indiana.

     Flora Bell Pollard was born on 6 July 1916 in Gainesville, Cooke County, Texas. As of circa 1940,her married name was Bagwell. She married LeRoy Alvis Bagwell, son of James Sidney Bagwell and Eva Cordelia Lewis, circa 1940. Flora Bell Pollard died on 25 August 2007 in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, at age 91
Flora P. Bagwell, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007.
Graveside service: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Flora was born July 6, 1916, in Gainesville to William H. and Ida Pollard. Flora retired from Colonial Country Club, where she spent many wonderful working years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Leroy, in 2002; sisters, Althea Pollard, Viola and Francis Sullivan; and brother, Bill Pollard.
Survivors: Daughter, Cordillia Totten; son, Alvis Bagwell; grandson, Tim and wife, Stephanie Totten; great-granddaughters, Ashley and Katelynn Totten; and several nieces and nephews.

Debra Marie Bagwell, 57 of Arab passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in Huntsville Hospital.
Mrs. Bagwell was born November 30, 1960 in Arab, Alabama, the daughter of George and Clovis Loree Duke Smith. She was a 1979 graduate of Arab High School. She and her husband of 36 years, Phillip Bagwell were married September 19, 1981.
Debra is survived by her husband: Phillip Bagwell; two sons: Jarrod Bagwell and Chad (Kiliegh) Bagwell; a daughter: Telisha (Jason) White all of Arab; grandchildren: Grant, Jordan, Chase, Ayden, Karleigh, Dillan, Johnny Mack and Helen Gina-Grace; adopted Granddaughter, Rosie; a sister: Bettye (Larry) Dyar of Arab; a niece: Gina (Chris) Hall of Arab; a nephew: Brandon (Teresa) Dyar of Madison, several other nephews, great nephews, great nieces, cousins, other family members and many dear friends; she was preceded in death by her parents: George and Loree Smith, two brothers: Larry Buel Smith and Joel Wayne Smith and a niece: Tandy Dyar Yancey.
Funeral Service will be Sunday Sept. 16, 2018, at 3 PM at Warrior Creek Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Arthur Feemster, Brother Daryl Ross, officiating and graveside committal by Brother Brandon Dyar. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Grant Bagwell, Chase Bagwell, Jordan Mitchell, Ayden Mitchell, Hunter Hall, Brandon Dyar, Jason White and Don Malone.
Visitation will be from Sat. Sept. 15, 2018, from 6-8 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel; she will also Lie-In-State at the Church on the day of the Service from 2-3 PM.

     Charles Russell Bagwell was born on 8 September 1907 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was the son of Mathew D. Bagwell and Pauline Smith. Charles Russell Bagwell lived in 1951 in Nashville, Tennessee. He died on 21 August 1986 at age 78. He was buried at Parkhill Cemetery, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia.

     Wanda Jane Oxford was born on 11 January 1934 in Arkansas.¹ As of circa 1954,her married name was Bagwell. She married Alva Lewis Bagwell, son of John Marion Bagwell and Mina Lois Clement, circa 1954. Wanda Jane Oxford died on 7 July 2004 in Chico, Butte County, California, at age 70
Wanda Jane Bagwell passed away July 7, 2004 in Chico. Memorial services will be Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Bidwell Chapel, 341 W. 3rd St. Wanda was born January 11, 1934 to Clarence and Viola Oxford in Cincinnati, Arkansas. Wanda moved with her family to Westwood, Calif. when in elementary school. Wanda owned Butte Answering Service and Northern Sacramento Valley Attorney Service in Chico. She retired in 2002. Wanda was a member of the Calvary Chapel Church. Wanda enjoyed her family and friends, and traveling. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Alva Lewis Bagwell of Chico; two daughters, Linda Burton of Pittsburg, Calif. and Brenda Bagwell of Pittsburgh, Penn; one brother, Denver Oxford of Chester, Calif; her mother Viola Oxford of Chico; three grandchildren; one brother-in-law; three sisters-in-law; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Charles Langley Bagwell married Stacy Lee Taylor on 22 July 1980 at St. Lucie County, Florida. Charles Langley Bagwell died on 3 November 2016 in Sumter, Sumter County, South Carolina, at age 72.¹ He was buried at Highland Home Baptist Church Cemetery, Gray Court, Laurens County, South Carolina.¹

     Faith Bagwell is the daughter of Charles Langley Bagwell and Stacy Lee Taylor.¹

     Freba Areba Hammers was born on 28 May 1914 in Eufaula, McIntosh County, Oklahoma. As of 1931,her married name was Bagwell. She married Hershel William Bagwell, son of Adolphus Leroy Martin Bagwell and Pearlie Mae Logan, in 1931. Freba Areba Hammers died on 8 July 2003 in Selma, Fresno County, California, at age 89. She was buried at Fowler Cemetery, Fowler, Fresno County, California.

     Cora G. Dimmick was born on 19 March 1896.¹ As of after 1912,her married name was Bagwell. She married Samuel Bagwell, son of Stuart Mathis Bagwell and Martha E. Baldwin, after 1912. Cora G. Dimmick died on 25 August 1974 at age 78. She was buried at Woodland Cemetery, Ironton, Lawrence County, Ohio.

     Ronnie Eugene Bagwell was born on 4 March 1942 in Ware Shoals, South Carolina. He was the son of John William Bagwell and Myrtle Cloda Edwards. Ronnie Eugene Bagwell married Pansey Strickland before 1962. Ronnie Eugene Bagwell married Elizabeth Ann Maroney before 1980. Ronnie Eugene Bagwell died on 3 February 2002 in Monetta, South Carolina, at age 59. He was buried at Little Angels Memorial Park, Saluda, Saluda County, South Carolina.

Watts, on 17 September 1947 at First Methodist Church, Jasper, Alabama. Madelyn Bright Gladney died on 30 November 1976 at age 51. She was buried at Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama.

     Roy Boy Bagwell was also known as Roy Bagwell.¹ He was born on 25 October 1945. He was the son of Harvey Wayland Bagwell and Estella P. Martin. Roy Boy Bagwell lived in 2010 in Caballo, New Mexico.¹ He died on 15 July 2018 at age 72 He was a CMSGT in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War.

CITATION:
The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, July 2, 1926, takes pleasure in presenting the Distinguished Flying Cross with Combat "V" to Staff Sergeant Roy B. Bagwell, United States Air Force, for heroism while participating in aerial flight as an HH-53 aerial Photographer in Southeast Asia on 12 December 1970. On that date, Sergeant Bagwell flew an extremely hazardous mission on which an American pilot downed deep within hostile territory was successfully recovered. Although constantly exposed to intense and accurate ground fire, Sergeant Bagwell silhouetted himself in the open doorway of the helicopter in order to take motion pictures of the entire recovery mission. The outstanding heroism and selfless devotion to duty displayed by Sergeant Bagwell reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Air Force. He was buried at Arizonia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Marana, Pima County, Arizona.

     Gaylord Richardson was born in 1940. He married Wanda Nell Bagwell, daughter of Harvey Wayland Bagwell and Estella P. Martin, after 1955. Gaylord Richardson and Wanda Nell Bagwell were divorced on 15 May 1981 at Denver, Colorado. Gaylord Richardson married an unknown person on 18 September 1983 at Clark County, Colorado. He died on 6 July 2014. He was buried at Chapell Hill Memorial Gardens, Littleton, Arapahoe County, Colorado.
