     Charles Stephen Bagwell was born on 21 February 1951 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was the son of Charles Ray Bagwell and Ann Jean Prewitt. Charles Stephen Bagwell died on 31 January 2017 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, at age 65. He was buried at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma.

     Reverend Joseph Boyd Bagwell was born on 10 January 1951 in Union, Union County, South Carolina. He was the son of George Lee Bagwell and Annie Mae Williams. Reverend Joseph Boyd Bagwell married Teresa Henderson after 1970. Reverend Joseph Boyd Bagwell died on 19 August 2025 in Gaffney, Cherokee County, South Carolina, at age 74


Gaffney, SC - - Reverend Joseph “Joe” Boyd Bagwell, 74, of 558 Bonner Road, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Cherokee Medical Center.

Born in Union, he was the husband of Teresa Henderson Bagwell and son of the late George Bagwell and Annie Mae Williams Bagwell. He was a graduate of Union High School, attended Spartanburg Technical College, was a retired Pastor, and a member of Prospect Baptist Church in Mooresboro where he served as Chairman of Deacons. He loved his family, his fur-baby “Stella Louise”, riding horses and hunting.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a sister, Kathy Bogan (Randall) of Jonesville; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nephews and one great-niece. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Elaine Bagwell.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Prospect Baptist Church in Mooresboro, NC with Reverend Tim Elmore officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

The family will be at their respective homes.

     William H. Stone was born on 5 July 1785 in South Carolina. He married Anna Amy Bagwell, daughter of Frederick Burk Bagwell and Mary Polly Hill, in 1806. William H. Stone died on 17 May 1881 in Anderson County, South Carolina, at age 95. He was buried at Poore Cemetery 1, Belton, Anderson County, South Carolina.

     Mark T. Bagwell is the son of Reverend Howell Richard Bagwell and Otrella Sue Polfus. Mark T. Bagwell married Gayla J. (?) after 1973.

     Adam Richard Bagwell was born on 9 June 1981 in Kokomo, Howard County, Indiana. He was the son of Mark T. Bagwell and Gayla J. (?) Adam Richard Bagwell married Sarah Bollig on 2 June 2006. Adam Richard Bagwell died on 7 August 2025 in McKinney, Collin County, Texas, at age 44


Adam Richard Bagwell was born on June 9, 1981, to Dr Mark T. & Pastor Gayla Bagwell at Howard Community Hospital in Kokomo, Indiana. Adam was the eldest of two sons. Adam went to be with his Lord on August 7, 2025, in McKinney, Texas, surrounded by his family.

Adam attended and graduated from Highlands Ranch High School and then furthered his education at both Oral Roberts University and Colorado Christian University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Knowing the call of God upon his life, he became the Lead Pastor of Word of Life Chicago and later at Word of Life Aurora. He also served as the Executive Pastor at Word of Life Christian Center in Lone Tree, Colorado, and at Oaks Church in McKinney, Texas.

He married Sarah Bollig on June 2, 2006, and they had two beautiful children, Jonathan Tyler and Brooklyn Grace. He is also survived by his parents, Mark T. and Gayla Bagwell; his brother, Aaron Bagwell, and sister-in-law, Teri, and their children; Tim, Annika, and Alexandria of Phoenix, Arizona; his brother and sister-in-law, Nick and Victoria Bollig, and their children; Henley and Lauren; as well as sisters-in-law, Autumn and TiAnna Bollig, and his brother-in-law, Solomon Bollig, along with TiAnna’s son, Jaden. He is also survived by Sarah’s parents, Joe and Katie Bollig, all of the state of Texas.

Pastor Adam has touched the lives of a multitude of people with his humor, gregarious personality, and passion for Jesus Christ with the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. Those who heard him speak and minister were deeply moved to live their lives for God.

We know that Pastor Adam Bagwell is now in the presence of God, worshipping His Lord and Savior along with the choirs of angels and the saints that have gone on before him. We rejoice that we will be reunited with him when we all get to heaven.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 22, 2025, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Following the service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service.

     James Wylie Bagwell was born on 12 August 1899. He served in the US Army during World War I. He died on 23 December 1985 in Collin County, Texas, at age 86. He was buried at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Collin County, Texas.
