     Eugene Paris Bagwell was born on 21 October 1922 in Florida. He was the son of Dr. Charles Curtis Bagwell and Mary Paris. Enlisted on 30 December 1942 and served as Lt. Colonel in the US Army during World War II. Eugene Paris Bagwell died on 19 September 1990 in Duval County, Florida, at age 67. He was buried at San Lorenzo Cemetery, Saint Augustine, St. Johns County, Florida.

     Hoke Demorest Bagwell was also known as Doruvest Bagwell. He was born on 22 July 1906 in Royston, Franklin County, Georgia. He was the son of William Arthur Bagwell and Minnie Parks. Hoke Demorest Bagwell married Lillian Eunice Holcomb after 1920. Hoke Demorest Bagwell died on 9 July 1958 in Gaston County, North Carolina, at age 51. He was buried at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia, Gaston County, North Carolina.

     Lillian Eunice Holcomb was born on 23 December 1906 in Franklin County, Georgia. As of after 1920,her married name was Bagwell. She married Hoke Demorest Bagwell, son of William Arthur Bagwell and Minnie Parks, after 1920. Lillian Eunice Holcomb died on 28 May 1990 in Gaston County, North Carolina, at age 83. She was buried at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia, Gaston County, North Carolina.

     Virginia Ruth Bagwell was born on 17 April 1924 in Franklin County, Georgia. She was the daughter of Hoke Demorest Bagwell and Lillian Eunice Holcomb. As of 28 June 1947,her married name was Deaton. Virginia Ruth Bagwell married Odis William Deaton on 28 June 1947 at Gaston County, North Carolina. As of 15 September 1951,her married name was Allen. Virginia Ruth Bagwell married Robert J. Allen on 15 September 1951. As of 14 February 1993,her married name was Hittner. Virginia Ruth Bagwell married Albert J Hittner on 14 February 1993. Virginia Ruth Bagwell died on 3 February 2013 at age 88 ROCKFORD, Ill. ~ Virginia B. Allen-Hittner, 88, died Feb. 3, 2013.
Born April 17, 1924, on her grandmother's farm in Franklin County, Ga., daughter of Hoke D. and Lillian (Halcombe) Bagwell.
She grew up in North Carolina, attended Belmont High School and graduated from Appalachian University. She lived in Springfield from 1957 until moving to Rockford in 1971. She married Robert J. Allen on Sept. 15, 1951. After Robert passed away on April 21, 1982, she married Albert J. Hittner on Feb. 14, 1993. Virginia retired from the State of Illinois as an administrative assistant in 1989.
A funeral service will be held 10:45 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at Provena Cor Mariae Center, 3330 Maria Linden Dr., Rockford, with visitation from 9:45 a.m. to service time.
Burial will be in Scandinavian Cemetery.

     Sarah Love Bagwell was born on 10 January 1927 in Gaston County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Hoke Demorest Bagwell and Lillian Eunice Holcomb. Attica - Sarah Love (Bagwell) McDaniel, 96, formerly of Attica and had been residing in Lafayette, passed away in the Cumberland Pointe Healthcare Center, West Lafayette on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 11:59 p.m.
Sarah was born in Cramerton, North Carolina on January 10, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Hoke Demorest and Lillian Eunice (Halcombe) Bagwell. She was raised in Cramerton, NC, later moving to Belmont, NC, where she graduated from Belmont High School in 1945. She had resided in Paris, IL for 12 years before moving to Attica in 1958.
Sarah formerly worked at Radio Material Corp. in Attica for 26 years, retiring in 1993. She then began working in the Food Service Department in Tarkington Hall at Purdue University. She later retired from Purdue University.
Sarah was a member of the Attica Christian Church. She enjoyed square dancing for 30 years and enjoyed camping in her camper with her family.
On July 28, 1946, Sarah married Wendell McDaniel in Paris, IL. He preceded in death on February 20, 2004.
Sarah leaves behind a daughter, Marsha S. (Lee) Schmid, West Lafayette; two grandchildren, Dustin (Ami) McDaniel and Ashley (Tony) Wilkerson; seven great-grandchildren, Tyler McDaniel, Naomi McDaniel, Caitlyn McDaniel, Faith McDaniel, Jacob Marcov, Sam Wilkerson and Jerica Wilkerson. She was preceded in death by a son, Hugh McDaniel; a grandson, Noah McDaniel; a brother, Charles Bagwell and a sister, Virginia Hittner.
Friends may call at the Attica Christian Church, 411 E. Sycamore St., Attica, on Monday, October 9th, from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. with Chaplain Rich Stoll and Pastor Hunter Chadwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Memorial contributions may be made to the Attica Public Library or the Attica Christian Church.

     Shirley Ann Emory married Charles Arthur Bagwell, son of Hoke Demorest Bagwell and Lillian Eunice Holcomb, after 1945. Shirley Ann Emory and Charles Arthur Bagwell were divorced on 6 October 1958 at Gaston County, North Carolina.

     Piccola Elizabeth Hall is the daughter of Oscar Ruel Hall and Piccola (?) Piccola Elizabeth Hall married Omer DeWayne Mann in August 1951. Piccola Elizabeth Hall and Omer DeWayne Mann were divorced in September 1958 at Brevard County, Florida. Piccola Elizabeth Hall married Charles Arthur Bagwell, son of Hoke Demorest Bagwell and Lillian Eunice Holcomb, circa 1959.

     Derek Brian "Dirky" Bagwell was born on 21 June 1960 in Orlando, Orange County, Florida.¹ He was the son of Charles Arthur Bagwell and Piccola Elizabeth Hall. Derek Brian "Dirky" Bagwell lived in 1975 in Panama Ctiy, Florida. He died on 26 October 2010 in Panama City, Bay County, Florida, at age 50

Derek "Dirky" Brian Bagwell, 50, of Youngstown, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, at a local hospital in Panama City.

Brian was born June 21, 1960, to Elizabeth Hall Green and the late Charles A. Bagwell in Orlando, Fla. He was served his country in the U.S. Army and was a member of First Baptist Church of Fountain. Brian had a heart of gold and was a devoted father, son, brother and uncle.

He was preceded in death by his father; and sister, Valerie Bagwell.

Brian leaves behind his mother; two sons, Charles John Bagwell and William Lofton Bagwell; daughter, Valynn Brianna Bagwell; fiancée, Nancy Teets; two brothers, Wayne Mann and Chuck Bagwell; three sisters, Beth Mann, Stephanie Bagwell and Denise Bagwell; close family friend, Claudine Roper; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, at Southerland Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Doug Sanders officiating with interment to follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 29, at the funeral home.

     William Arthur Bagwell was also known as W. A. Bagwell. He was born circa 1883 in Franklin County, Georgia. He married Minnie F. Brown on 5 October 1904 at Hart County, Georgia. William Arthur Bagwell married Minnie Parks before 1906. He enlisted in the US Army 14 September 1909. He is listed in Camp Keithley, Mindanao, Philippines, Military and Naval Forces in 1910 US Federal Census. William Arthur Bagwell and Minnie F. Brown were divorced before 1915.

Ida Estelle Bagwell married Thomas G. Tucker on 8 October 1893 at Hernando, Florida. As of 23 June 1907,her married name was Crews. Ida Estelle Bagwell married Frank Crews on 23 June 1907 at Sumter, Florida. Ida Estelle Bagwell died on 14 February 1962 at age 82.¹ She was buried at Friendship Methodist Cemetery, Zolfo Springs, Hardee County, Florida.¹

     Berry Washington Bagwell was born on 24 July 1888 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina.¹ He was the son of Willis Marion Bagwell and Julia Amanda Lynch. Berry Washington Bagwell married Lillian Smith before 1913. Berry Washington Bagwell married Mary Emma Bradford after 1919. Berry Washington Bagwell died on 6 May 1951 in Belmont, Gaston County, North Carolina, at age 62 Son of William Bagwell and Mandy Lynch. Husband of Emma Bradford. He worked in the textitle industry. He was buried on May 8, 1951.¹ He was buried on 8 May 1951 at Greenwood Cemetery, Belmont, Gaston County, North Carolina.¹

     Clarence Lloyd Bagwell was born on 17 July 1917 in Gaston County, North Carolina. He was the son of Berry Washington Bagwell and Mary Emma Bradford.
