Born March 2, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Philo Edwin and Agnes Barker Gregory. Mrs. Bagwell was a homemaker and of The Church of God faith.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Laverne Bagwell, sisters, Betty Pridemore and Katherine Jones; and great-granddaughter, Angelette Anne Ragan.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Truth Outreach of Greenville. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.1 She was buried at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Easley, Pickens County, South Carolina.1

Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late James Wyley and Mary Golding Bagwell. She was a graduate of Cokesburg College. She taught school for several years and was a former cottage mother at Connie Maxwell Children's Home.
Surviving are a brother, J. Douglas Bagwell of Amherst, Tex; and four stepchildren, Truman and Paul Roberts, Mrs. David Ormand and Mrs. Lee Ormand, all of Lancaster.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Blyth Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to the Baptist Mission.
She was buried at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, Hodges, Greenwood County, South Carolina.
