Jeremy lived his life devoted to his family. He was an amazing husband and words cannot define the relationship he had with his kids. Every day was spent with his wife and kids, as he loved them more than life itself.
Jeremy leaves behind his wife, Ashley Young Bagwell, and three sons, Brody, 3 ½, and twins Clay and Cole, 23 months; his mother, Patricia Bagwell and his father and step-mother, Brad and Karla Bagwell; a brother and sister-in-law, Christopher and Roxanne Bagwell, a sister, Erin Bagwell; a step-sister, Summer Wilson; grandparents, Blaine and Bonnie Bagwell, Mary Varnau, and Wilbur and Carol Varnau; his father-in-law, Oscar Young, with whom he was very close; mother-in-law, Brenda Taylor; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his sister Jennifer Bagwell.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2011 at Shirley & Stout, Lincoln Road Chapel, 1315 West Lincoln Road, with his uncle Bart Bagwell officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Greentown. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday. Erin is survived by her father, Brad (Janine) Bagwell; step-father, Ron Julius; her brother Chris (Roxanne) Bagwell; her aunts, Belinda (Richard) Sezbenski, Benita (Stan) Zirkle, Beth Jaenicke, Janny Varnau, Cathy Kurtz, and Jeanne (Robert) Reames; her uncles, Brent Bagwell, Bart (Lisa) Bagwell, Mike (Susan) Varnau, Jim (Janet) Varnau, Steve (Michelle) Varnau, and Scott (Jenny) Varnau.
Erin was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Varnau Julius; her sister, Jennifer Michelle Bagwell; her brother, Jeremy Patrick Bagwell; her uncle, Vic Varnau; and her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Erin enjoyed being an aunt and having several cousins. Her nephews are Brody Bagwell, Clay Bagwell, and Cole Bagwell. Her nieces are Brianna Bagwell and Samantha Bagwell. She had cousins living all over the country.
Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2020, at Jerome Christian Church, 9535 E. 100 S., Greentown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, in Greentown, next to her mother and brother. Visitation with the family will be on from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday at the church.

MYRTLE BEACH -- Alton Brooks Bagwell, Jr., 79, of Myrtle Beach, died on October 30 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, after an extended battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
A son of Alton Brooks Bagwell and Elizabeth Fuller Bagwell, Brooks was born July 6, 1937, in Greenwood, South Carolina. He was a 1955 graduate of Greenwood High School and a 1959 graduate of Clemson University, majoring in electrical engineering. He enrolled in the United States Army for two years and served in the Army Signal Corps in Japan. He was employed by Tennessee Valley Authority in Chattanooga, Tennessee, for 13 years, the Charleston Naval Shipyard for 3 years, and NAVALEX of Charleston for 15 years. Brooks was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Myrtle Beach. A longtime resident of Summerville and North Charleston, he served as Chairman of the Board of the Charleston Area Credit Union and on boards of Meals on Wheels and various subdivision committees in Coosaw Creek in North Charleston. He was an avid participant in water sports, including skiing, shrimping, and deep-sea fishing, In retirement, he and Harriet traveled extensively, including Europe, Russia, Hawaii, Australia, South America, and China.
Brooks is survived by his wife, Harriet Browder Bagwell; a daughter, Amy Elizabeth Bagwell Martin of Myrtle Beach; a son, Roger Brooks Bagwell and wife Maureen Lynn Mulvihill of State College, Pennsylvania; and four grandchildren, Melanie Grace Martin, Stephen Thomas Martin, Brooke Cornelia Bagwell, and Cedric Robert Bagwell. MYRTLE BEACH -- Alton Brooks Bagwell, Jr., 79, of Myrtle Beach, died on October 30 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, after an extended battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
A son of Alton Brooks Bagwell and Elizabeth Fuller Bagwell, Brooks was born July 6, 1937, in Greenwood, South Carolina. He was a 1955 graduate of Greenwood High School and a 1959 graduate of Clemson University, majoring in electrical engineering. He enrolled in the United States Army for two years and served in the Army Signal Corps in Japan. He was employed by Tennessee Valley Authority in Chattanooga, Tennessee, for 13 years, the Charleston Naval Shipyard for 3 years, and NAVALEX of Charleston for 15 years. Brooks was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Myrtle Beach. A longtime resident of Summerville and North Charleston, he served as Chairman of the Board of the Charleston Area Credit Union and on boards of Meals on Wheels and various subdivision committees in Coosaw Creek in North Charleston. He was an avid participant in water sports, including skiing, shrimping, and deep-sea fishing, In retirement, he and Harriet traveled extensively, including Europe, Russia, Hawaii, Australia, South America, and China.
Brooks is survived by his wife, Harriet Browder Bagwell; a daughter, Amy Elizabeth Bagwell Martin of Myrtle Beach; a son, Roger Brooks Bagwell and wife Maureen Lynn Mulvihill of State College, Pennsylvania; and four grandchildren, Melanie Grace Martin, Stephen Thomas Martin, Brooke Cornelia Bagwell, and Cedric Robert Bagwell. He is also survived by a brother, William Edward Bagwell, and wife Anna Gerace Bagwell of Fort Mill, South Carolina.
