     George Francis Bagwell was also known as George Francis Bagwill. He was born on 4 July 1889 in Sacramento, Sacramento County, California. He was the son of Henry Bryant Bagwell and Rosa Etta Newkirk. George Francis Bagwell married Maude Burke Haines after 1940. George Francis Bagwell died on 18 November 1968 in Sacramento, Sacramento County, California, at age 79. He was buried at East Lawn Memorial Park, Sacramento, Sacramento County, California.

     Maude Burke Haines was also known as Maude Haines. She was born on 7 October 1901 in Sacramento, Sacramento County, California. As of before 1930,her married name was Maloney.      Mary Louise “Mu/Yee” Harris was born on 13 January 1922 in Oak Grove, Christian County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Will Henry Harris and Sophronia Alice Kendrick. As of before 1962,her married name was Bagwell. Mary Louise “Mu/Yee” Harris married Isaac Bagwell before 1962. Mary Louise “Mu/Yee” Harris died on 19 September 2001 in Hopkinsville, Christian County, Kentucky, at age 79. She was buried at Cave Spring Cemetery, Hopkinsville, Christian County, Kentucky.

     Isaac Bagwell Jr. is the son of Isaac Bagwell and Mary Louise “Mu/Yee” Harris. Isaac Bagwell Jr. married Mary Frances Smith on 6 January 1986 at Suffolk County, Virginia. Isaac Bagwell Jr. and Mary Frances Smith were divorced on 18 May 1995 at Virginia Beach, Virginia.

     Jerline Bagwell is the daughter of Isaac Bagwell and Mary Louise “Mu/Yee” Harris. Jerline Bagwell married (?) Kraft after 1975.

     Beverly Bagwell is the daughter of Isaac Bagwell and Mary Louise “Mu/Yee” Harris. Beverly Bagwell married (?) Shipp after 1975.

     Kaye Frances Bagwell is the daughter of Isaac Bagwell and Mary Louise “Mu/Yee” Harris. Kaye Frances Bagwell married (?) Duerson after 1981.

     Hoyt Thomas Bagwell was born on 10 January 1951 in Caldwell County, Kentucky. He was the son of Wiley Jackson Bagwell and Beulah Liza Merrick. He served in the US Army (SP4) during the Vietnam War. Hoyt Thomas Bagwell married Helen West after 1970. Hoyt Thomas Bagwell died on 2 December 1999 in Christian County, Kentucky, at age 48


Services for Hoyt Thomas Bagwell, 48. Gracey. will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bob Lawrence officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.

He died at 3 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, 1999, at his home of natural causes.

A native of Caldwell County, he was born Jan. 10, 1951, the son of Beulah Merrick Bagwell, Hopkinsville. and the late Wylie Bagwell. He was employed at Flynn Enterprises and was an Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Helen West Bagwell; a son. Thomas Bagwell, Christian County; three brothers, Jackson Bagwell, Hopkinsville. and Doug and Lacy Bagwell, both of Christian County; and five sisters, Inez Moody and Carolyn Chilton, both of Hopkinsville, Glenda Dimmit, Montana, Nancy Hennison, Princeton and Lola Bagwell, Dawson Springs.

Morris Wilson Bagwell married Debra K Outlaw on 3 December 1982 at Christian County, Kentucky. Morris Wilson Bagwell died on 9 October 1996 in Hopkinsville, Christian County, Kentucky, at age 35. He was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Hopkinsville, Christian County, Kentucky.

     John Burch Bagwell was born on 26 October 1955 in Barberton, Summitt County, Ohio. He was the son of Walter Fred Bagwell and Ellen Genetta McHenry.¹ John Burch Bagwell married Deborah Ann Hester before 1982. John Burch Bagwell married Lou Ellyn Davis on 15 August 1989 at Hawaii. John Burch Bagwell died on 5 November 2019 in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama, at age 64
John Burch Bagwell, affectionately known as “Bag” or “Big Chief”, crossed over to heaven on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Grandview Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.

John was born on October 26, 1955 in Barberton, Ohio to Ellen and Fred Bagwell.

John attended public school in Huntsville, Alabama and graduated from S. R. Butler High School in 1973. He enlisted and served in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged on December 6th, 1976.

He received a bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering from Mississippi State University on May 9th, 1980 and a MBA from Auburn University on August 26th, 1986. He started and owned his own construction firm, B&C Construction, to his retirement.

John married Lou Ellyn Davis on August 15th, 1989 in Hawaii. John is survived by three sons, Denton, Derrick and Davis, five grandchildren, and two sisters, Genetta Holt of Tucson, Arizona and Mary Ellen Stoltz of Cookeville, Tennessee.

His parents preceded him in death. John’s last years were an inspiration to his family and friends as he bravely battled multiple health issues. He had a sweet relationship with Jesus. He will be forever loved and missed by his family. He will be laid to rest at Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Veteran’s Day. Semper fi.¹

John Burton Bagwell married Cindy Lee Demoss on 18 August 1972 at Ohio. John Burton Bagwell died on 23 April 1988 in Bradford, Darke County, Ohio, at age 34.¹ He was cremated.
