He is preceded in death by his mother Reba Eades, brother Ricky C. Bagwell and sister Patricia Burton.

He is survived by his father Raymond Bagwell, step father Walter Eades, step mother Deborah Bagwell, son Christopher Patrick Bagwell, daughter Angela R. McClain, brothers Christopher Adam Eades, and Walter Patrick Eades, sister Vickie (Michael) Bellonis, and step sister Michele Eades. Jerry had several nieces and nephews and two grandchildren Isaiah and Gracie Hart.

There will be no visitation and service arrangements are incomplete at this time.

Sam L. Bagwell died Thursday, July 9, 2015. Sam was born in Blytheville, Ark. in 1954. Sam was in law enforcement for 32 years beginning in Yazoo City, as a police officer and later as a deputy sheriff in Philadelphia, and Neshoba County. In later years, Sam was in the bail bond business where he was very active and served as an officer in the Mississippi Bail Bondsman Association. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel P. Bagwell and Maxine Bagwell; and nephew Shaw Upshaw.

     Evelyn Keller was born on 11 August 1923. As of 29 August 1950,her married name was Bagwell. She married J. L. Bagwell, son of Amos Jackson Bagwell and Luvie Murphy, on 29 August 1950 at Cullman County, Alabama. Evelyn Keller died on 14 February 1993 at age 69. She was buried at Eidson Chapel Cemetery, Cullman County, Alabama.

     Infant Bagwell was born in December 1954. He was the son of J. L. Bagwell and Evelyn Keller. Infant Bagwell died on 30 December 1954.

     Larry Wayne Bagwell is the son of J. L. Bagwell and Evelyn Keller.

     Joe Neal Bagwell was born on 24 February 1942 in Commerce, Jackson County, Georgia. He was the son of Joseph Hiram Garrison Bagwell and Sallie Mae Whitehead. Joe Neal Bagwell married Carole Fleming after 1960. Joe Neal Bagwell died on 25 October 2020 in Athens, Clarke County, Georgia, at age 78


Mr. Joe Neal Bagwell, age 78, of Commerce passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. Mr. Bagwell was born in Commerce to the late, Joseph H. and Sallie Mae Whitehead Bagwell. Mr. Bagwell was a member of Maysville Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

A 1960 graduate of Commerce High School, Mr. Bagwell received a Civil Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and spent his life building houses, office buildings, and retail centers. He was a devoted Christian who spent decades serving God as a Sunday school teacher, outreach leader, and as a lay pastor for a church in an inner-city housing project in Atlanta. The Lord used Mr. Bagwell to bring many souls to Christ.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Bagwell was preceded in death by his sister Ronda Thurmond and brother, Amory Bagwell. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carole Fleming Bagwell of Commerce; sons, Neal Bagwell of Commerce and Erik Bagwell (Gretchen) of Monroe; grandsons, Grant and Davis Bagwell; granddaughter, Callie Beth Bagwell; brothers, Merrill Bagwell (Wanda) and Steven Bagwell (Beverly) both of Commerce.

A graveside service involving immediate family will take place at Grey Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to either the Maysville Baptist Church Building Fund or the Gideons International.

Robert's career in TACG - Manufacturing Quality Control reflected his passion for precision and excellence. He was known for his attention to detail and wavering commitment to ensuring top-notch quality.

He is survived by his mother, Tomiko Esaki Bagwell; his loving spouse, Karen Bagwell; his son, Robert Bagwell Jr; as well as his sisters Teresa (Rick) Williams and Tina (Marvin) Wooten.

Robert is predeceased by his father, Homer Bagwell, and is also mourned by his brother William Bagwell and sister Brenda Bagwell.

A Visitation in memory of Robert will be held on June 27, 2024, at Ivie Funeral Home in Commerce from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. This will be followed by a Funeral Service at the same location from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The Interment will take place at Howington Cemetery in Nicholson.

     Hayward Norman Jarrad was born on 19 December 1928 in Franklin County, Georgia. He married Dessie Lee Bagwell, daughter of Will Ernest Bagwell and Hattie Ruth Alford, after 1946. Hayward Norman Jarrad died on 14 November 2000 in Jefferson, Jackson County, Georgia, at age 71.

     Steve Drewberry married Tonda Bagwell, daughter of Reverend Joseph Leo Bagwell and Shirley Black, after 1966.

     Wendell Black married Paula Bagwell, daughter of Reverend Joseph Leo Bagwell and Shirley Black, after 1966.

     George Willie Washington Bagwell was born on 22 December 1880 in Casa, Perry County, Arkansas. He was the son of John Thomas Bagwell and Sarah Louella Prater. George Willie Washington Bagwell married Susie Cook on 2 December 1900 at Arkansas. George Willie Washington Bagwell died in October 1967 in Hayti, Pemiscot County, Missouri, at age 86.

     Susie Cook was born circa 1881. As of 2 December 1900,her married name was Bagwell. She married George Willie Washington Bagwell, son of John Thomas Bagwell and Sarah Louella Prater, on 2 December 1900 at Arkansas.

     William Bagwell was born in 1905 in Arkansas. He was the son of George Willie Washington Bagwell and Susie Cook.

     William E. Bagwell was born on 12 December 1884 in Stone County, Arkansas. He was the son of John Thomas Bagwell and Sarah Louella Prater. William E. Bagwell married Letty Lou McCarn on 25 December 1904 at Mountain View, Stone County, Arkansas. William E. Bagwell died on 18 November 1916 in Wapanucka, Johnston County, Oklahoma, at age 31.
