     James Terry Sills was born on 30 July 1898 in Calhoun County, Georgia. He married Virgia Corene Bagwell, daughter of Wiley Thomas Bagwell and Elzoro Lou Bumbalough, after 1927. James Terry Sills died on 18 January 1984 in Mount Dora, Lake County, Florida, at age 85.

     Arlen Ezra Bagwell was born on 17 February 1908 in Cookeville, Putnam County, Tennessee.¹ He was the son of Wiley Thomas Bagwell and Elzoro Lou Bumbalough. Arlen Ezra Bagwell married Monella Nell Clouse on 23 June 1929 at Sorrento, Lake County, Florida. Arlen Ezra Bagwell died on 13 September 1996 in Sorrento, Lake County, Florida, at age 88.¹ He was buried at Seminole Cemetery, Lake County, Florida.¹

     Monella Nell Clouse was born on 2 December 1909 in Tennessee.¹ As of 23 June 1929,her married name was Bagwell. She married Arlen Ezra Bagwell, son of Wiley Thomas Bagwell and Elzoro Lou Bumbalough, on 23 June 1929 at Sorrento, Lake County, Florida. Monella Nell Clouse died on 5 May 1996 in Sorrento, Lake County, Florida, at age 86.¹ She was buried at Seminole Cemetery, Lake County, Florida.¹

     Zelma Dee Bagwell was born on 21 January 1906 in Cookeville, Putnam County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Wiley Thomas Bagwell and Elzoro Lou Bumbalough. As of before 1930,her married name was Sills. Zelma Dee Bagwell married Emanuel Flawsell Sills before 1930. Zelma Dee Bagwell died on 11 May 1960 in Palm Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, at age 54. She was buried at Seminole Cemetery, Lake County, Florida.

     Jesse Hodby married Audra Hazel Bagwell, daughter of Wiley Thomas Bagwell and Elzoro Lou Bumbalough, on 10 June 1928 at Osceola, Florida.

     Emanuel Flawsell Sills was born on 16 August 1895. He married Zelma Dee Bagwell, daughter of Wiley Thomas Bagwell and Elzoro Lou Bumbalough, before 1930. Emanuel Flawsell Sills died on 25 July 1953 at age 57.

     Vera Ozelle Robinson married Bethel Doyle Bagwell, son of Wiley Thomas Bagwell and Elzoro Lou Bumbalough, on 1 February 1985 at Lake County, Florida.

     Samuel Ernest Bagwell Jr/ was born on 11 May 1948 in South Carolina. He was the son of Samuel Ernest Bagwell and Julia Marie Orr. He served in the US Air Force in missile eletronics. Samuel Ernest Bagwell Jr/ married Patrica Ann Parks in April 1968 at Lake County, Florida. Samuel Ernest Bagwell Jr/ died on 7 March 2025 at age 76. He was buried at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Sumter County, Florida.

     Stanley Bagwell is the son of Samuel Ernest Bagwell and Julia Marie Orr. Stanley Bagwell married Deborah (?) after 1965.

     Theresa Anita Bagwell is the daughter of Samuel Ernest Bagwell and Julia Marie Orr. Theresa Anita Bagwell married Randall Edward Williams on 24 October 1976 at Church of God, Mount Dora, Florida.

     Doris Kay Rench was born on 4 April 1934 in St. Louis City, Missouri.¹ As of 1990,her married name was Bagwell. She married Gene Lavaughn Bagwell, son of Henry Artemous Bagwell and Betty Bessie O'Guin, in 1990. Doris Kay Rench died on 11 April 2019 at age 85
Doris Kay Rench Bagwell, a retired registered nurse born April 4, 1934, died April 11, 2019 at St. Dominic’s Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Lavaughn Bagwell.

Survivors include children, Brenda R. Harrington (Steve), William C. “Bill” Reeves (Lesleigh), Elizabeth A. “Betty” Harmon (Tommy), Robert Allen Reeves. Grandchildren include Kimberly Harmon Liston, Elizabeth Harmon Burleson, Kimberlyn Reeves, Brendon Reeves, Madison Reeves, and Lilyanne Reeves.

Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2018, at the Chapel at Broadmoor Baptist Church with the service following at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park.

     Joseph Robert Hentschel was born on 15 March 1894. He married Fannie Bagwell, daughter of William Wiley Bagwell and Sarah Lela Baker, on 2 September 1928 at Mobile, Alabama. Joseph Robert Hentschel died on 2 April 1959 at age 65.

     Linda A. Allen was born on 27 August 1941 in Atlanta, Georgia. As of October 1956,her married name was Bagwell. She married Charles Thomas Bagwell Sr., son of Paul Horace Bagwell and Annie Ruth Gray, in October 1956. Linda A. Allen died on 28 September 2020 in Marengo, Morrow County, Ohio, at age 79


Linda A. Bagwell, age 79, of Marengo, OH, formerly of Roswell, GA, and Knoxville, TN, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 28, 2020, at the Bennington Glen Care Center with her loving son by her side following an extended illness.

On August 27, 1941, Linda was born in Atlanta, Georgia, one of two daughters of the late Verlon H. and Katherine (Echols) Allen. She attended North Fulton High School in the. She furthered her education at Devry Business School, where she earned a bachelors degree in accounting.

Linda married the love of her life, Charles T. Bagwell Sr., in October of 1956. They shared 54 years of marriage, and raised four children: Charles Jr. “Woody”, Gary, Kelly, and Rusty. He preceded her in death on June 27, 2009.

A loving homemaker, Linda took pride in caring for her husband and children. Over the years, she also worked on and off as a bookkeeper taking care of several businesses.

Always helping her husband, Charlie, however she could, Linda often helped with his community projects through his work at the bank. They were active with the Jaycees and Jaycettes, and helped with Secret Santa every year. They also were members of the First Baptist Church in Roswell, GA. She loved her neighbors and friends.

A true “southern belle”, Linda was one of the sweetest, most hospitable women you could ever meet. She was an amazing cook, always putting together special homemade meals for her family, friends, and always had cake and pies for the kids in the neighborhood. It was impossible to leave her house without a full stomach. She also had a green thumb, planting flowers and tending to her rose bed. She always pickled and canned from the family garden for the family to enjoy all year long.

With a love for the outdoors, Linda enjoyed camping with the family and later in life she and her husband enjoyed touring in their motorhome. Some of the favorite spots include the Smokemont Campground and visiting Live Oaks Florida. Linda had a passion for trout fishing, especially the Chattahoochee River, and was something she often took her grandchildren along to share in that experience.

Always smiling, Linda brought joy with her everywhere she went. She had a knack for making everything enjoyable for everyone and everyone was at home with Linda.

She will be dearly missed by her four children: Woody Bagwell of Cardington, OH, Gary (Candy) Bagwell of Nashville, TN, Kelly (Robert) Stewart of Dahalonega, GA, and Rusty (Erin) Bagwell of Knoxville, TN; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Including her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Jones.

Her family will greet friends from 11 AM to 1 PM on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, GA 30040. Services honoring her life will follow at 1 PM with burial after in Powder Springs City Cemetery in Powder Springs, Georgia.

     Robert Washington Mitchell was born on 22 November 1877. He married Jessie V. Bagwell, daughter of Samuel Jones Bagwell and Eugenia Valentine Harrison, after 1895. Robert Washington Mitchell died on 22 April 1975 at age 97.
