Franklin Delano Bagwell, Jr. passed away Thursday May 20th at Lakeland Regional Health in Lakeland. Frank was born on July 18, 1956 in Lake Wales, Florida. He fought a long tough battle but in the end his heart gave out and he went to be with the Lord. He loved his family and absolutely cherished his 4 grandchildren. He spent many years hunting and fishing but loved his work as well and could constantly be found working. He was owner of Bagwell Lumber Company in Frostproof where he worked his entire life starting in childhood. He was also owner of Livingston Groves and took much pride in producing quality citrus and maintaining beautiful groves. He had friends everywhere and loved all of them.

Frank is survived by his wife of 44 years, Judy, his son, Franklin Delano Bagwell III, his daughter Laci Bagwell, and his grandchildren Easton, Marlee, Karsyn, and Ean. He is also survived by his mother, Peggy Bagwell of Frostproof.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Haypond Ranch, 800 Old Avon Park Road in Frostproof, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come and share memories of Frankie and enjoy dinner in honor of a life well lived.

He married Theresa Peggy Latta on 26 December 1922 at Los Angeles, California. Hezekiah Willis “Bill” Bagwell died on 17 September 1999. He was buried at Garden Of Memories, Metairie, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana.

     Theresa Peggy Latta was born on 9 June 1906 in Oklahoma. As of 26 December 1922,her married name was Bagwell. She married Hezekiah Willis “Bill” Bagwell on 26 December 1922 at Los Angeles, California. Theresa Peggy Latta died on 23 January 1984 at age 77. She was buried at Garden Of Memories, Metairie, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana.

     Donald Willis Bagwell was born on 23 September 1924 in San Pedro, Los Angeles County, California. He was the son of Hezekiah Willis “Bill” Bagwell and Theresa Peggy Latta. Donald Willis Bagwell married Yvonne Ducatel in January 1943 at New Orleans, Louisiana. Donald Willis Bagwell died on 13 January 1999 at age 74

Donald Willis Bagwell on Tuesday, January 13, 1999 at 6:50 p.m. Beloved husband of Mrs. Yvonne Marie Ducatel Bagwell. Father of Linda Marie Bagwell Cashio, William Thomas and Tommy Raymond Bagwell. Also survived by nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Age 74 years. A native of San Pedro, CA and a resident of this city for 56 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Services from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview, on Saturday, January 16, 1999 at 12:00 noon. Interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Helen Elizabeth Bagwell married Carlton John Roper on 12 March 1948 at Hall County, Georgia. Helen Elizabeth Bagwell died on 10 November 2002 at age 78. She was buried at Memorial Park Cemetery, Gainesville, Hall County, Georgia.

     Carlton John Roper was born on 13 March 1925 in Forsyth County, Georgia. He married Helen Elizabeth Bagwell, daughter of Albert Daniel Bagwell and Vera Myrtle Brown, on 12 March 1948 at Hall County, Georgia.      Betty Jo Jones was born on 3 June 1934 in Anderson, Anderson County, South Carolina. As of after 1953,her married name was Bagwell. She married Otis Curtis Bagwell, son of Robert Curtis Bagwell and Alethia Mae Dill, after 1953. Betty Jo Jones died on 9 May 2020 at age 85

Mrs. Bagwell was a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, cooking and gardening. Betty worked 45 years as a bookkeeper for Winn Dixie.

She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Fisher and husband, Ronnie, and Donna Hamam and husband, Jamal; two granddaughters Melissa Curd and husband, Jason, and Haley Hamam-Sayed and husband, Amer; six great grandchildren, Emma Camak, Karsyn Curd, Camden Curd, Noura Sayed, Jamal Sayed and Reema Sayed; and her sister Linda Roberts.

Greenville - Lila Wilson Bagwell, 99, died Monday, August 24, 2020.

Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Lillie Adams Wilson.

She was a retired Fashion Samples Supervisor at Stone Manufacturing Company. And she was a member of the Lydia Class at Rocky Creek Baptist Church. She loved gardening and was passionate about her faith in God, her lovely flower and vegetable gardens, and her dear family.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Norwood; grandson, Vance Jenkins; granddaughter, Tracy J. Winetroub (Peter); great granddaughters Kristen Smith and Haley Winetroub.

She was predeceased by her husband of 80 years, Carl Henry Bagwell; an infant daughter; daughter, Shirley Burton; grandson, Jeffrey Burton; son-in-law, David Norwood; brothers J.T., Ernest, Grady, and Leslie Wilson.

A celebration of Mrs. Bagwell's life will take place on Thursday, August 27, 2020, at 1:30 p.m. in the Downtown Chapel of the Thomas McAfee Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow in the Rocky Creek Baptist Church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Senior Adult Fund at Rocky Creek Baptist Church, 1801 Woodruff Rd, Greenville, SC 29607.

The family would like to thank especially Ms.Davia Johnson, RN, of Regency Southern Care Hospice Services, and the loving, supportive staff at Greenville Place Assisted Living, who took such good care of Mr. and Mrs. Bagwell during their two-year stay there.
