Bagwell and Martha Lee Chambliss, on 11 March 1928 at St. Clair County, Alabama. Lucille Reaves died on 26 October 1998 at age 94.¹ She was buried at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Ragland, St. Clair County, Alabama.¹

     Bobby Ray Bagwell was born on 2 July 1931 in Ragland, St Clair County, Alabama.¹ He was the son of Joseph Watt Bagwell and Lucille Reaves. He was a Staff Sargeant in the US Army during the Korean War.¹ Bobby Ray Bagwell married Virginia Carol "Vivky or Nanny" Schaffner Schaffner on 7 November 1956 at Cook County, Illinois. Bobby Ray Bagwell died on 27 November 1985 in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama, at age 54. He was buried at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Ragland, St. Clair County, Alabama.¹

     Joseph William Bagwell was also known as Joe Bagwell. He was born on 16 July 1891 in Alabama. He was the son of George N. Bagwell and Martha Lee Chambliss. Joseph William Bagwell married Lula Gallups before 1920. Joseph William Bagwell died on 14 November 1960 in Ragland, Alabama, at age 69. He was buried on 15 November 1960 at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, Ragland, St. Clair County, Alabama.

     Ernest C. Bagwell was born on 20 November 1898 in St. Clair County, Alabama. He was the son of George N. Bagwell and Martha Lee Chambliss. Ernest C. Bagwell married Clara Novabell Black on 7 July 1922 at Brookside, Alabama. Ernest C. Bagwell lived in 1930 in Carterville, Williamson County, Illinois. He died in August 1970 in Carbondale, Jackson County, Illinois, at age 71.¹ He was buried at Egyptian Memorial Gardens, Herrin, Williamson County, Illinois.¹

     Clara Novabell Black was born on 28 October 1901 in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama. As of 7 July 1922,her married name was Bagwell. She married Ernest C. Bagwell, son of George N. Bagwell and Martha Lee Chambliss, on 7 July 1922 at Brookside, Alabama. Clara Novabell Black died on 30 September 1995 in Fulton County, Georgia, at age 93. She was buried on 3 October 1995 at Egyptian Memorial Gardens, Herrin, Williamson County, Illinois.

     Beverly Jeanette Bagwell was born on 8 November 1930 in Carterville, Williamson County, Illinois. She was the daughter of Ernest C. Bagwell and Clara Novabell Black. As of after 1949,her married name was Huff. Beverly Jeanette Bagwell married Dale Pepple Huff after 1949. Beverly Jeanette Bagwell and Dale Pepple Huff lived in 1995 in Yuma, Arizona. Beverly Jeanette Bagwell died on 21 February 2021 at age 90


Beverly June (Bagwell) Huff, 92, began her heavenly journey on February 21, 2021.

She was born November 8, 1928, in Carterville, Illinois to Ernest and Clara Bagwell, joining her two brothers: Ernest, Jr. and Gene.

     Millie Jane Singleton was also known as Mille Jane Singleton. She was born on 29 March 1843 in South Carolina. As of 23 December 1860,her married name was Bagwell. She married John Murry Bagwell, son of William W. Bagwell and Lucinda Poole, on 23 December 1860 at Anniston, Calhoun County, Alabama. As of 28 August 1872,her married name was Dempsey. Millie Jane Singleton married George Washington Harrison Dempsey on 28 August 1872 at Lincoln, Tennessee. Millie Jane Singleton died in 1900 in Oklahoma.

     George Washington Harrison Dempsey was born on 11 January 1847 in Floyd County, Georgia. He married Millie Jane Singleton on 28 August 1872 at Lincoln, Tennessee. George Washington Harrison Dempsey died on 14 October 1921 in Cuthand, Rever River County, Texas, at age 74.

     James Andrew Bagwell was born on 15 August 1866 in Ohatchee, Calhoun County, Alabama. He was the son of John Murry Bagwell and Millie Jane Singleton. James Andrew Bagwell married Nancy Adaline Ashley on 17 January 1892. James Andrew Bagwell died on 15 December 1965 in Dimmitt, Castro County, Texas, at age 99. He was buried at Castro Memorial Gardens, Dimmitt, Castro County, Texas.¹

     Nancy Adaline Ashley was born on 22 February 1872 in Hopkins County, Texas. As of 17 January 1892,her married name was Bagwell. She married James Andrew Bagwell, son of John Murry Bagwell and Millie Jane Singleton, on 17 January 1892. Nancy Adaline Ashley died on 29 July 1971 at age 99. She was buried at Castro Memorial Gardens, Dimmitt, Hopkins County, Texas.¹

     John Leonard Bagwell was born on 24 May 1908 in Floyd County, Texas. He was the son of James Andrew Bagwell and Nancy Adaline Ashley. John Leonard Bagwell married Lorene Etta Tate on 14 October 1931 at Clovis, New Mexico. John Leonard Bagwell died on 26 September 1951 in Dimmitt, Castro County, Texas, at age 43. He was buried at Dimmitt Cemetery, Dimmitt, Castro County, Texas.¹

     Hattie Alice Bagwell was born on 2 July 1906.¹ She was the daughter of James Andrew Bagwell and Nancy Adaline Ashley.¹ As of 9 July 1927,her married name was Howell.² Hattie Alice Bagwell married Henry Moss Howell on 9 July 1927.² Hattie Alice Bagwell died on 20 August 1995 at age 89.¹ She was buried at Westlawn Memorial Park, Dimmitt, Castro County, Texas.¹

     Henry Moss Howell was born on 25 March 1904 in Atwell, Texas.¹ He married Hattie Alice Bagwell, daughter of James Andrew Bagwell and Nancy Adaline Ashley, on 9 July 1927.¹ Henry Moss Howell died on 8 November 1999 at age 95.¹ He was buried at Westlawn Memorial Park, Dimmitt, Castro County, Texas.¹

     Leonora Bagwell was born on 18 September 1869 in Tennessee.¹ She was the daughter of John Murry Bagwell and Millie Jane Singleton. As of 18 September 1887,her married name was Bess. Leonora Bagwell married William Carroll Bess on 18 September 1887 at Motague County, Texas. Leonora Bagwell died on 22 March 1942 in Oklahoma at age 72.¹ She was buried at Rush Springs Cemetery, Rush Springs, Grady County, Oklahoma.¹

     William Carroll Bess was born on 7 March 1869 in Waco, McLennan County, Texas. He married Leonora Bagwell, daughter of John Murry Bagwell and Millie Jane Singleton, on 18 September 1887 at Motague County, Texas. William Carroll Bess died on 19 July 1906 in Meers, Oklahoma, at age 37.
