     Wilma Lee Bagwell was born on 25 January 1933 in Oklahoma.¹ She was the daughter of William Jackson Bagwell and Flora Pearl Barnes.¹ As of 15 June 1977,her married name was Atkinson. Wilma Lee Bagwell married Charles O. Atkinson on 15 June 1977 at Bee, Texas. Wilma Lee Bagwell died on 16 January 1996 in Karnes County, Texas, at age 62.¹ She was buried at Choate Cemetery, Choate, Karnes County, Texas.

     Charles O. Atkinson married Wilma Lee Bagwell, daughter of William Jackson Bagwell and Flora Pearl Barnes, on 15 June 1977 at Bee, Texas.

     Hattie Jane Wagner married Thomas James Bagwell, son of William Jefferson Bagwell and Elizabeth Jane Solley, in 1908 at Randolph County, Arkansas.

     Amanda Lucinda Gann was born on 29 December 1889 in Missouri.¹ As of 9 April 1922,her married name was Bagwell. She married Thomas James Bagwell, son of William Jefferson Bagwell and Elizabeth Jane Solley, on 9 April 1922 at White County, Arkansas. Amanda Lucinda Gann died on 20 January 1970 at age 80.¹ She was buried at Markham Cemetery, Egypt, Lawrence County, Missouri.¹

     Duain Wilford (Pete) Bagwell was born on 17 February 1926.¹ He was the son of Thomas James Bagwell and Amanda Lucinda Gann. He served as a Private in the US Army during World War II.¹ Duain Wilford (Pete) Bagwell married Mary Bernice Domaschk on 7 February 1946. Duain Wilford (Pete) Bagwell died on 26 February 1997 at age 71.¹ He was buried at Markham Cemetery, Egypt, Lawrence County, Arkansas.¹

     Mary Bernice Domaschk was born on 29 August 1925 in Warda, Fayette County, Texas.¹ As of 7 February 1946,her married name was Bagwell. She married Duain Wilford (Pete) Bagwell, son of Thomas James Bagwell and Amanda Lucinda Gann, on 7 February 1946. Mary Bernice Domaschk died on 12 July 2013 in Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas, at age 87
Mary Bernice Bagwell, 87, of Pocahontas, formerly of Alicia, passed away Friday, July 12, 2013 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.

Born August 29, 1925 in Warda, Texas, daughter of Carl August and Minnie Leona Charpentier Domaschk. She was a homemaker and attended the Grace Gospel Church.

She was united in marriage to Duain Bagwell February 7, 1946 who preceded her in death February 26, 1997. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Leon Domaschk and a great grandson, Trent Spencer.

Survivors include her sons, James Bagwell of Imboden and David Bagwell and Dennis Bagwell both of Pocahontas; three sisters, Sydele Schafer of Victoria, Texas, Ruth Carter and Linda Rutledge both of Georgia; three brothers, Leroy Domaschk of Alabama, Eugene Domaschk or Rock Port, Texas and Archie Domaschk of Corpus Christie, Texas; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Coleman Evans, Hunter Durham, Garrett Willbanks, Steven Bagwell, James D. Bagwell and Joey Bagwell. Honorary pallbearers will be, Travis Bagwell and Dustin Durham.¹

     Ray Armester Bagwell was also known as Raymond Bagwell. He was born on 26 July 1909 in Pocahontas, Randolph County, Arkansas.¹ He was the son of Thomas James Bagwell and Hattie Jane Wagner. Ray Armester Bagwell married Lena Blazier on 7 September 1929. Ray Armester Bagwell married Clara Bell Carter after 1935. Ray Armester Bagwell died on 22 December 1979 at age 70.¹ He was buried at Markham Cemetery, Egypt, Lawrence County, Arkansas.¹

     Clara Bell Carter was born on 6 September 1919.¹ As of after 1935,her married name was Bagwell. She married Ray Armester Bagwell, son of Thomas James Bagwell and Hattie Jane Wagner, after 1935. Clara Bell Carter died on 12 November 2004 at age 85.¹ She was buried at Markham Cemetery, Egypt, Lawrence County, Arkansas.¹

     Harvie Jay Bagwell was also known as Harvey Bagwell. He was born on 13 February 1912 in Randolph County, Arkansas.¹ He was the son of Thomas James Bagwell and Hattie Jane Wagner. Harvie Jay Bagwell married Lorine Lavere McQuay on 15 March 1934. He served in the US Army during World War II.¹ Harvie Jay Bagwell died on 13 March 1976 at age 64.¹ He was buried at Markham Cemetery, Egypt, Lawrence County, Arkansas.¹

     Lorine Lavere McQuay was born on 11 February 1919.¹ As of 15 March 1934,her married name was Bagwell. She married Harvie Jay Bagwell, son of Thomas James Bagwell and Hattie Jane Wagner, on 15 March 1934. Lorine Lavere McQuay died on 29 June 2000 at age 81.¹ She was buried at Markham Cemetery, Egypt, Lawrence County, Arkansas.¹

     Joyce Dianne Bagwell was born on 24 January 1956. She was the daughter of Harvie Jay Bagwell and Lorine Lavere McQuay. Joyce Dianne Bagwell died on 11 September 2012 in Thayer, Oregon County, Missouri, at age 56
Joyce Dianne Shanks, 56, of Thayer, MO., formerly of Lawrence and Sharp County, AR., passed from this life Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at her residence.

She had lived in Lawrence and Sharp County most of her life. She was a homemaker and had worked for Area Agency on Aging.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Harvey and Lorine McQuay Bagwell; son, Shannon Hivley; brothers, Thomas and William Bagwell.

Survivors include son, Brandon Hivley and wife Sherry of Thayer, Mo; sisters, Wanda Caron of Dozer, Alabama, Judy Merrell of Jonesboro, Tina Brunson and Jeanette Mans both of Powhatan; brothers, Wayne and Jay Bagwell both of Powhatan; Wes Bagwell of Beebe.

Graveside Services were at Powhatan Cemetery. Arrangments were by: House Gregg Funeral.¹

     Thomas Ray Bagwell was born on 18 March 1939 in Walnut Ridge, Lawrence County, Arkansas. He was the son of Harvie Jay Bagwell and Lorine Lavere McQuay. Thomas Ray Bagwell married Ruth Moore before 1958. Thomas Ray Bagwell married Carmeta Stogsdill on 19 January 1980. Thomas Ray Bagwell died on 16 January 2003 in Emboden, Lawrence County, Arkansas, at age 63. He was buried at Old Lebanon Cemetery, Eaton, Lawrence County, Arkansas.

     William James Bagwell was born on 11 December 1948 in Parkin County, Arkansas.¹ He was the son of Harvie Jay Bagwell and Lorine Lavere McQuay. William James Bagwell died on 13 July 2003 in Powhatan, Lawrence County, Arkansas, at age 54.¹ He was buried at Powhatan, Lawrence County, Arkansas.¹

     Wayne Bagwell is the son of Harvie Jay Bagwell and Lorine Lavere McQuay.

     Harvie Jay Bagwell Jr. was born on 13 September 1953 in Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas. He was the son of Harvie Jay Bagwell and Lorine Lavere McQuay. Harvie Jay Bagwell Jr. died on 24 August 2021 in Powhatan, Lawrence County, Arkansas, at age 67


Harvie Jay Bagwell, 67 of Powhatan, died August 24, 2021, at his residence. Born September 13, 1953, in Jonesboro; son of the late, Harvie Jay Sr. and Lorine McQuay Bagwell.

He was a self-employed local land contour surveyor and an avid outdoorsman. Jay enjoyed having pets, being in the woods, and hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his two brothers, Thomas and William Bagwell; and three sisters, Wanda Caron, Renea Mans and Joy Shanks; and his best dog, Bandit.

Survivors include his daughter, Priscilla (Michael) Cobble of Minturn; two sons, Casey Bagwell of Powhatan, and Nick (Chasity) Bagwell of Imboden; six grandchildren, Ethan Pickett, Remington and Jayde Cobble, Baylor, Owen and Avie Lee Bagwell; two brothers, Louie Wayne (Wilma) Bagwell of Powhatan and Wesley Bagwell of Mt. Home; two sisters, Judy Merrel and Tina Brunson both of Jonesboro; a nephew but like his brother, Garry Bagwell of Ash Flat; and his puppy, Rascal; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside service conducted Thursday, August 26, 2021; at 6:30 P.M. in the Powhatan Cemetery.

He served in the US Army (569th Air Material Squadron) during World War II from from 10 August 1942 to 16 November 1945. William Alfred Bagwell died on 15 September 1974 at age 60.¹ He was buried at Markham Cemetery, Egypt, Lawrence County, Arkansas.¹

     Roma Evelyn McQuay was born on 26 July 1917 in Arkansas.¹ As of 4 April 1936,her married name was Bagwell. She married William Alfred Bagwell, son of Thomas James Bagwell and Hattie Jane Wagner, on 4 April 1936 at Lawrence County, Arkansas. Roma Evelyn McQuay died on 26 May 1993 at age 75.¹ She was buried at Markham Cemetery, Egypt, Lawrence County, Arkansas.¹

     Cazie B. Bagwell was born on 7 March 1924.¹ He was the son of Thomas James Bagwell and Amanda Lucinda Gann. He served as a SERGEANT in the US Army during World War II.¹ Cazie B. Bagwell died on 5 November 1981 at age 57.¹ He was buried at Markham Cemetery, Egypt, Lawrence County, Arkansas.¹

     Walter Bagwell is the son of Thomas James Bagwell and Hattie Jane Wagner.

     Arthur Ostes Bagwell was born on 16 June 1919.¹ He was the son of Thomas James Bagwell and Hattie Jane Wagner. Arthur Ostes Bagwell married Janie Gray before 1941. He served in the US Army during World War II.¹ Arthur Ostes Bagwell died on 19 March 1989 at age 69.¹ He was buried at Whittaker Cemetery, Minturn, Lawrence County, Arkansas.¹

     Josie Marie Bagwell was also known as Josephine Marie Bagwell. She was born on 2 March 1929 in Wilter Ridge, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Thomas James Bagwell and Amanda Lucinda Gann. As of July 1946,her married name was Smith. Josie Marie Bagwell married George L. Smith in July 1946 at Arkansas. As of after 1957,her married name was Collins. Josie Marie Bagwell married Gervace Wright Collins Sr. after 1957. Josie Marie Bagwell died on 10 July 1997 in Clarksville, Red River County, Texas, at age 68. She was buried at Joe Slater Memorial Cemetery, Wright City, McCurtain County, Oklahoma.

     Lula Gallups was born on 27 October 1896. As of before 1920,her married name was Bagwell. She married Joseph William Bagwell, son of George N. Bagwell and Martha Lee Chambliss, before 1920. Lula Gallups died on 30 July 1976 at age 79. She was buried at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, Ragland, St. Clair County, Alabama.

     Eva Virginia Bagwell was born on 2 October 1920. She was the daughter of Joseph William Bagwell and Lula Gallups. As of before 1960,her married name was Helton. Eva Virginia Bagwell married (?)
